What an incredible organization! JFLC's work distributing zero-interest personal and small business loans to the Chicagoland community is truly inspiring. I have yet to meet a borrower who hasn't spoken highly of their experience with JFLC's staff and loan process. The vast majority of donations go straight to zero-interest loans for borrowers, and once the loan is repaid the funds are used again and again. Their extremely compassionate team has also earned the 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency on Candid.

A MUST for anyone who is aging! Not only is Gramatan Village a great resource for meeting other similar aged folks, which can be challenging BUT the resources and help to make your home safer, get rides to and from appointments, get a handyman, help you understand Medicare this is SUCH a valuable program that is offered to our community that everyone over 55 should take advantage of

Looking at these 2024 numbers, my heart just sinks because a 60% drop in revenue isn't just a dip, it’s a code blue for the people you serve. We’re talking about a catastrophic loss that threatens the community that relies on your work, and I can’t help but worry about what’s actually happening behind those doors. I honestly hope 2025 brought some stability back.

As a career prosecutor, I have personally dealt with numerous victims of human trafficking. Every ONE Free delivers incredible services, support, opportunity and a future for these victims. While some other groups claim to assist, Every One Free always provides the emotional and tangible support that these fragile victims need. Every ONE Free is tireless securing resources for their mission and always striving to improve how their resources can best make it to and minister to the victims. As a donor, they have always shown gratitude for the contributions that I and other donors have made to this great organization.

Music has a big impact on my life. It may have started when I played violin as a child, and as a parent, I made sure my two daughters also played instruments. Music builds creativity, confidence, teamwork and passion, and every child deserves the chance to experience it. I'm a longtime Todd Rundgren fan, so when he formed the Spirit of Harmony Foundation to promote the importance of music education, it had my full support. I've participated in auctions, instrument drives (including one where Todd handed out Ukulele's to children.) and most recently, volunteered at a table organized by the SOHF before one of Todd's shows. It was a rewarding experience representing them-passing out materials, educating concert-goers and fans, and sharing our stories about how much music, especially Todd's, means to us. The SOHF is the heartbeat of his mission, and they empower us to be the hands that help make it happen-ensuring every child has access to the life changing and power of music.

Jeff’s Place has been the best community for my family in the wake of my husbands sudden passing. It’s been the best most comfortable form of therapy for not only my own grief and learning my new life as a widow but also by far the best thing I’ve done for my 2 young children after they lost their Dad. The directors, counselors, volunteers, and professionals we have met through Jeff’s have all been so warm, genuine, and easy to connect with and we couldn’t have gotten through this tragedy without them. They truly met us where we were as a family in our grief process in a way we had not experienced anywhere else. The entire experience of connecting with those who have gone through a similar loss has helped us feel less alone and normalized the grief for my kids and I and helped us tremendously in moving fwd with our lives at whatever pace we feel comfortable with. I can’t speak highly enough of Jeffs Place and everything it’s done for us.

I am a retired former board member and current donor for SCF. When I retired, I decided to volunteer my time because of three critical reasons. First is that this organization serves a CRITICAL need for the health and well being for professional truck drivers. The second reason is that SCF is staffed by an extremely dedicated and devoted staff. You root for them and their mission! They all go the extra mile. The last reason is that they have been successful! There are now thousands of professional truck drivers who have been assisted through this great cause. They are a relatively small organization but they pack a wallop in their energy and effectiveness. My Connect Community (MCC) is an extraordinary place-based nonprofit in the Gulfton/Sharpstown neighborhood of Houston, TX. MCC works with newcomer families to hear their concerns, amplify their voices, and offer the opportunities they need to build a meaningful and safe life. Programming includes job search support, job training, and ESL that helps put residents on a path to financial stability. Many of the staff live in the neighborhood and serve as community ambassadors to help their neighbors. I have worked with many nonprofits and am especially moved by the commitment of the staff and board, the quality of the programming, and the individualized attention the organization provides. Through the North Valley Caring Services, I have been able to give back to my community in many different ways and the most full filling feeling is that I am able to see the positive changes. The kids, the people, the families, and the cultures have all individually taught me something important about life. Whenever I'm not busy with school or other extra curricular activities, I love helping the Breakfast Program, Youth Program, and the Food Pantry. I recently became a Student Representative for this non-profit organization. In less than a month I have practiced public speaking, organizing programs, working with others, and developing leadership skills. I will forever be thankful for everything that this organization does. The faculty and members will always make you feel welcome and you will want to return!

I have been serving as Member of the Corporation for over two years and have seen how LWN strives to put its values of integrity, community, empathy, courage and empowerment into action. Alison Boak, Executive Director, staff and the host community are committed to being there for the women. I am appreciative of their collaboration with other groups, their vision of raising awareness, broadening services and providing safe secure housing for women survivors who graduate from the Safe House and need to find other housing. The need is great. More education, resources and services are needed in the area of serving and accompanying people who are trafficked. Join LWN in helping us do this!

I nominated my grandma, and when she got picked, I was very excited! She received 500 letters and it brought tear to her eye. She said she cannot understand why so many strangers would want to write to her, but it makes her so overjoyed. This project can not just make someone’s day or month. But instead, give them a reminder forever that they are loved, people are thinking about them and appreciate them. I just want to give a huge thank u to this organization and make sure they know how amazing the work they and everyone who writes are doing.

The Tulip City Walls Mural Festival is a vibrant, award-winning public art event transforming Holland's Eastcore neighborhood. With support from you, this year's festival will extend our impact by increasing access for underrepresented youth in the arts through a free Mural Camp with Michigan artist Dustin Hunt of Muralmatics.<br><br>Youth Mural Camps give middle and high school students the chance to create professional-quality murals while developing technical and personal skills. By incorporating students' interests and ideas into the designs, these camps celebrate their stories and contributions to their communities. Students learn techniques like spray painting, using ladders, and the "scribble grid" method while building relationships and creative confidence.<br><br>Learning Outcomes include the following.<br><br>- Build Strong Relationships<br>- Grow Confidence Through Accomplishments<br>- Step Into Leadership Roles<br>- Learn New Artistic Skills<br>- Create Meaningful Public Art<br>- Engage Mind and Body<br>- Experience Community and Celebration<br><br>In supporting our Youth Mural Camp, you will provide valuable education for the next generation of our neighborhood while enhancing public spaces as a part of our Tulip City Walls Mural Festival.<br><br>The Tulip City Walls Mural Festival began after neighborhood listening sessions revealed the number one desire of residents was for more connection: to each other and to a neighborhood identity. We first debuted two (2) new murals in 2022, paired with a neighborhood block party that drew over 200 attendees.<br><br> In 2023, 3Sixty and community partners organized the inaugural Tulip City Walls Mural Festival, which installed five (5) permanent murals around Eastcore's Columbia Avenue commercial district. Our festival featured a DJ, food trucks, a beer tent, a dog parade, a chalk art contest, a car and coffee show, a vintage sale, and a community resource expo highlighting other local nonprofits and their services. According to data from the Holland Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, over 2,200 neighbors, Holland residents, and out-of-town guests visited throughout the four-day event. <br>Our success in 2023 even earned 3Sixty national recognition when we were nominated and awarded a 1st Place "Neighborhood of the Year" award for Physical Revitalization/Beautification by Neighborhoods, USA (NUSA). In total, our 2024 Tulip City Walls Mural Festival drew approximately 3,100 individuals from throughout the Great Lakes Region to witness the creation of six (6) new permanent murals from eight (8) muralists, including internationally recognized artists from the Netherlands, Canada, and the U.S.<br><br>In addition to the outcomes associated with our first-ever Youth Mural Camp, our goals for 2025 include:<br>- Create 10 new permanent murals that reflect our theme for this year ("Invest in Community") with accompanying artist statement plaques in Eastcore<br>- Host 100 attendees for our first-ever free-to-the-public "Meet the Artists" Reception and Dialogue where community members can interact with muralists through a facilitated discussion on art's power to cultivate neighborhood pride<br>- Increase our attendance to 3,500 over the course of the festival<br> <br>*Organization Impact<br><br>For years, the Eastcore neighborhood was dismissed as "the ghetto," but public art has rewritten that narrative. Narrow Gate has been such an amazing experience for me. I was lost and directionless. Jesus used this place and the amazing community here to rejuvenate my faith. I now remember who He is and what He did for me. When I came here, I was a scared boy in a man's body. In my time here, I've gotten to know what it is to be a man, a man of God. Not everything here is perfect, but that's why it works. We're just a bunch of dudes trying to get through life together, putting Christ at the center. Through the imperfections, I know that everything is done with the community's best interest at heart. Is it easy being here? No. It's probably the hardest thing I've ever done. And that's why it's worth it. God is working wonders through Narrow Gate. I'm grateful for all the staff and interns who give back to the community and abide in Christ to help us grow as men. And I am grateful to God for saving me and growing me for the better. I am now confident in who I am. I now know why I'm in this world. Thank you, God!

She was with me in the hospital. After giving birth, she held my son and took beautiful photos of him so that I could rest. She took such time and care when I was utterly heartbroken.
