I've been a Turnstone member for a year now. The chair fitness classes are great! The instructors are friendly and helpful. My favorite is the warm water therapy pool! The balance class in the pool has helped me tremendously. The pool fitness class with weights is a perfect way to exercise while the warm water feels nice on the joints. I'm grateful to have a facility like Turnstone in our community. The staff truly does care for your well being.

What a challenging and exciting time to be part of Unity Performing Arts Foundation! <br> <br>As Special Projects Manager, I've been charged with UNITY's Rising With Purpose Initiative. It's a sweeping effort which includes pillars for Marketing, Membership, Capital Funds, and a Community Referral Pipeline. Daunting for sure. <br> <br>However, what a great time to reinvigorate our organization's unique model of merging life-building development skills and non-traditional performing arts for youth. <br> <br>As I see a UNITY Alum become 2nd-runner up in the 2024 Miss America Opportunity; or Alum who now work for UNITY, or an Alum who was a Founding Member; turned employee; turned Member-Father, one word comes to mind, IMPRESSIVE! <br> <br>Having personally sung in a high school show choir, I can assure you, we were not taught more than singing; it was not like an extended family; they did not track our life accomplishments, and we didn't leave with lifelong friends and mentors we could count on. <br> <br>At UNITY, all these things do happen, and more. This multi-faceted approach to the "whole child" is what makes the organization and the World-Champion Voices of UNITY Youth Choir and other programming, unique, great, and growing! <br> <br>I came to UNITY's table to help positively impact young lives. Now looking forward to the day when my charge changes to efforts creating a new performance center, and launching the model nationally. <br> <br>- Jane Applegate <br>

We had no idea that this organization existed until we saw their story on Wane-TV Channel 15. My husband has a heart condition and cannot shovel snow. We were reluctant to ask for help, but knew we needed it. Within less than an hour of calling, a family of five showed up to clear the snow in our driveway. We are grateful for their help and for this caring ministry. Thank you so much and God bless you all!

Last October I had gotten some fish from the Tillman Road location which I had gotten food poisoning or unfortunately the hospital says there is no diagnosis for food poisoning which the fish is the only thing that I ate and within 45 minutes I was throwing up drastically I had to call an ambulance and go to the emergency room I turned it into their insurance company the insurance company denied Community Harvest Food Bank will not step up and take responsibility for my bills I would not suggest anybody buy anything out of their food cooler or their frozen section without definitely checking the food out before you cook it I got sickly ill from this and it is a shame that Community Harvest Food Bank would rather destroy your credit because I could not pay the medical bills and because of this it is been turned into collection agencies thanks to the Community Harvest Food Bank because they will not step up and take responsibility

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Peritoneal Cancer in May 2020. I was referred to NE Cancer Services. My advocate was very kind and listened as I talked about my fears. They helped me with my prescription costs because I was out of work and had no insurance. Very kind and God Bless You All!!

My experience with JiHM is nothing short of amazing. I have take three trips to Haiti and also sponsor a student through JiHM. From being exposed to the culture of Haiti and being shown the beauty of the country and its people, I have gain so much perspective on the world and how vast God's kingdom is. JiHM does a fabulous job of helping equip Haitians to sustain themselves and share the Gospel to their fellow countrymen. I couldn't be more proud to serve with them!

The plays I have seen, including the most recent one, A Mighty Fortress, have been of very excellent quality. The actors are very talented and work really hard to connect with the audience. Jadon Moore's portrayal of Martin Luther was inspiring and really drew me into the story. I really love the way the entire production company has as its goal to bring quality, family-friendly theater to our community, and to honor God in everything they do. I highly recommend all-for-One!

Excellent nonprofit that works with an all volunteer staff to promote history in the greater Fort Wayne area. They have events that are free to the public every month and only ask for donations to help keep them running. They have an excellent site and alot of bang for the buck.

AAPLOG is one of the most important pro-life organizations in the United States. Its work providing scientific and medical evidence to policy makers and those writing on pro-life and bio-ethical topics is significant beyond words. The organization is run by people of absolute professional and financial integrity. The organization is financially frugal. There is no waste of resources. AAPLOG is the most underfunded pro-life non-profit that I know of. Pound for pound there is no organization that has its punching power.

As a volunteer for Caring About People, I have seen all the great things they do and are organizing to do in the future. The people they serve are from all different social classes, backgrounds, etc. They help people get their lives back on track. It is places like this that actually make a difference in people's lives.

The citizens of Allen County, Indiana are forced to put the drug “Antabuse” in their system following a second D.U.I. arrest without even being convicted of a crime. After conviction of the D.U.I. a person could serve anywhere from 3 to 6 years on the AADP (Alcohol Abuse Deterrent Program) being forced fed a drug which attacks the liver much like alcohol does. Their forced sobriety is risking the health of every individual on the program. The courts continue to sentence people to AADP and AADP continues to poison and ignore its clients health problems. The only reason this facility is allowed to remain in business is because of the Indiana Code (IC 9-30-9-2) that was slipped through with minimal press in 1991 and driven by Judge Ryan of Allen County. We need to abolish or revise this Indiana Code to keep facilities like AADP from hurting people and their families whether it be medically or financially. Please sign this petition to abolish or revise Indiana Code (IC 9-30-9-2) and stop the shameless poisoning of thousands of Indiana citizens for profit. <br> <br>www.fightaadp.com

This a friendly group of artists, ranging from college age on up, who meet together to encourage each other and share an art educational program once a month. We have a great opportunity open to our members to hang our paintings in several prominent businesses around town for two months at a time.

I just recently became involved with the FWDC this summer. It has been such a rewarding experience for me personally and I can tell that this organization is a true staple in this community. The students, parents, and instructors that participate in the FWDC events are one of a kind and it is easy to see that the FWDC has changed many of their lives. They teach more to their students than dance and other art forms. They teach their students to be beautiful human beings who care for the community. I am proud to say that I was able to be a part of one of the recent FWDC events and cannot wait to come participate in and see more of their upcoming shows.

I walked into Right Relations a crying mess. My life was out of control and I was miserable. The program teaches you the foundations of respect for other people, which is impossible to do if you don't have self-respect. Through learning how to care about others, you begin to see you are a valuable person, too, and that you can control your destiny by the choices you make. These choices are founded on the goals and principles you hold, and this program teaches you how to identify the pieces to make a picture in your head of the world you want to live in. I was a mess, and still have a lot to do to become healthy, but this program is the starting point for anyone who wants to take control of life and make a better future for themselves and their kids. Change happens at the level of the individual. Let the change start here.

Trinity House of Hope was founded by Rev. Benny York and wife of thirty two years Velma. Pastor York provides assistance to homeless men in the Fort Wayne Indiana area since 1997. Pastor York has been committed to bettering the lives of those otherwise have no alternative to present life situation.The mission of pastor York is to help the homeless that are in need of shelter and also the alcoholic and drug abuser to become free of any and all substances.Please help Pastor York continue by giving your donations.

Does this organization even exist anymore? Their website has closed and there hasn't been a newsletter or convention for 5 years. I'd be careful donating to this organization!!!
