The forecast called for raw and rainy weather, so I was expecting a chilly morning. What I could not have anticipated was the level of excitement and dedication among participants, their families, volunteers, the event host (Carolina, RI Trout Hatchery), and the C.A.S.T. for Kids organization leaders. So much great energy, and so many happy kids. The event was extremely well organized, and everything was all about the kids. I have zero fishing experience, but it was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in a while. People who love fishing must be a special breed. The number of volunteers who came out to participate - some traveling some pretty hefty distances - on that chilly Spring morning was astounding. Everyone was so kind and went all out to make it a fun day.

It was the third project I had the pleasure to support at Bepeace, after Rodim and Siento it was now program aimed at supporting family companies in Salvador and Honduras. I. have quite some experience with this type of companies since Rodim and Siento are family owned and my work experience for several decades has also been focused in multi-generation family enterprises. I was supported by Debora from Bepeace, she did an extraordinary job, organizing, commenting, explaining, clarifying and I would like to thank her from my heart. She managed the infrastructure prepared by Bepeace to help us arrive at learning experiences not only for the four leaders who participated but also for me. Once again I am happy to have participated and hope to have contributed positively to the participants.

I have volunteered and donate also. I have been involved with various non-profits, including serving in boards, volunteering and paid staff. So I am picky about ethics, transparency, policies and sustainability. I would not be donating to Red Feather unless I trusted in how they spend and allocate money and the work. They balance great passion with the actual dirty work it takes to run such a sanctuary. I have seen them grow and learn when new policies or procedures need to be in place to handle the new growth. Additionally, they care about the growth and connection of their volunteers. I know that my money and time is well spent with Red Feather.

I , FELICIA GLASS IS GOING THROUGH A STRUGGLE SINCE MARCH THE 25TH OF 2024-25 AND NO CARE OF THE ACCUSATIONS THAT I'M DEALING WITH MENTALLY AND MEDICALLY DISABLED. IT'S BEEN A DOWN FALL WITH ME ACTUALLY WHEN I WAS CHARGE AND CONVICTED IN THE YEAR OF 2008 WRONGFULLY CONVICTED CHARGE THAT IT WASN'T MY FAULT. LONG STORY SHORT , I'VE BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON AND WAS SENT TO A TRANSITION HOUSING TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE HOUSE DUE TO I'M MENTALLY ENSTABLED TO LIVE THERE AND SHE DEALS WITH INDEPENDENCE PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS WORK. EVERY SINCE I'VE BEEN THROUGH THAT , I'VE BEEN IN AND OUT OF RESIDENTS AND SHELTERS AND PUT OUT IN THE STREETS AS OF RIGHT NOW . IN GOD HEAVENLY SAINT , PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH GOOD HOMEGROWN PEOPLE THAT KNOWS HOW TO LIVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND KNOWS HOW TO HAVE WITHOUT AND KNOWS HOW TO HAVE AS WELL. THE ONLY THING THAT STILL STANDING IS MY SECTION I'VE FOR HOUSING , EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOING DOWN FALL . I'M SERVERELY STRUGGLING WITH SOME ISSUES WITH A CRUTCH AND A SPLINT ON MY ANKLE AND I CAN'T MOVE AROUND TOO MUCH AS OF NOW .SOMEONE HAS FELL RIGHT ON MY ANKLE ON THE CONCRETE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENTS AFTER IT'S BEEN SPRUNG .NOW I'M REALLY STRUGGLING WITHOUT ANY CAUSE. PLEASE RESPOND TO ME AND I'VE BEEN NEGLECTED FROM THE PEOPLE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE CARING FOR ME AND YES ! I NEED A BELIVER IN MY FAVOR AND I THANK YOU FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND GOD BLESS YOU .

On social media, WCC does a great job of letting us observe wolves so we can witness their behaviors—whether howling, playing, or simply resting. It's remarkable. I have fallen in love with their wolves. Each one is unique and important. My favorite is Trumpet.

Mr. Bazemore and his staff at Experiment in Self-Reliance are truly dedicated to supporting the community and helping people survive and thrive through the tough conditions of poverty. I support their mission and I am grateful for their help in being a voice for people with out one.

I provided service to Todd and maintained a professional demeanor until he inquired about my personal life, at which point the interaction took a negative turn. Todd terminated the services and threatened to discontinue them unless I divulged personal information that he had no right to access. He insisted on details that I am not obligated to disclose, demonstrating dishonesty and an inappropriate intrusion into my privacy. Very rude that's all I can say.

Shereen catered our family spring birthday gathering in March. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship. It was a joy introducing her to our family. I would recommend her food and catering to anyone. <br><br>Sam Matthews

Through my network, I met the Sherry, their Executive Director. We had an exchange via LinkedIn, and discussed the organizations' perspective. Food insecurity is real and scary for millions of people in America (far more than I can comprehend). Nutrition is crucial all throughout life, and malnutrition has long-term odd-ball impact. For Our Common Good is doing great outreach; I'm looking forward to seeing their work evolve.

As a volunteer with FOK for over 30 years I have witnessed the incredible generosity, compassion and incredible efforts of the staff and social workers and volunteers. The impact on families of this hands-on organization is visible daily and the fact they help every member of a family stricken by the critical illness of a child means everyone can relate to their need and impact. I’ve been a Donor and volunteer and committee member for fundraisers.

I felt the Lord leading me to WSRM to minister in a capacity that would allow me to use my education and training, along with my faith and prior ministry experience to reach out to those in need of the power of The Lord Jesus' Grace. I was hired as a case manager for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission in Jan. 2022. I am thankful that I have been afforded the opportunity to share my Faith and life experience with others who are in need as I once was. Praise The Lord.

My family had a great expierence with mary! We were having a very hard time and moving place to place. Sometimes we were in our car with the kids and other times we were in a tent. We went to a free clothing give away we saw advertised on facebook we met Mary and in getting clothing we talked to he rabout our situation. She helped us get food brought it to us and after a month she told us there was a RV donated to her. She helped us get into a trailer park and helped me get a home based job. We are currently still in the RV that mary placed us into and we are saving to get into our own house! We could not be more greatful weekly MAry checks in and still helps with some of the things that we need help with.

I learned about the Asher House by stumbling across their YouTube videos. I can’t describe how incredible Lee Asher is. The life he gives these animals is second to none. His words are inspiring and shockingly authentic. I can’t believe such a masculine looking guy is so absolutely devoid of all ego, and so childlike i his heartfelt love for his rescues. Just watching his videos has changed me. I always dreamed of having a sanctuary just like his, and he is an incredible role model to me. I was blessed to be accepted into Grace House after leaving prison in 2016. Without this program I would not have been successful in my recovery. The support and love from this program gave me the last push I needed to FINALLY become self-sufficient, again and reach my full potential.

I started volunteering with Cascade Relief Team during the clean-up of the Holiday Farm Fire. I was so impressed by this team and their mission that I have continued to work with them on various projects. I love their compassion, dedication and drive to get things done. Marc is an inspiring leader who has managed to put an amazing team together. I am proud to be a small part of it.

I’m sorry to deliver such disappointing news. Please pray hard and think twice about donating to this Ronald McDonald house. It needs to be investigated on their so called requirements to assist those in need. My granddaughter who is 7 years old was in a house for a few days ago. She’s currently still in the hospital on Christmas Day!! I reached out to them for assistance and was turned down!! How can anyone have the nerve to turn anyone away who is in need but most of all using donations!! The money is not even theirs to decide!! I’m so hurt and sad that this happened but I want everyone to be aware of this organization who claims to help but does do at their own discretion!! I call it discrimination!! It’s sad but true!!

Elizabeth (Beth) Bowers served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in a remote village in northwest Zambia. She was tragically lost in a bicycle accident in 2002 while serving. I have known Beth's parents, Gerry and Linda, since the early 1990s. I first met Beth a few years later when she worked at my work place for two summers. <br> Out of this tragedy came something good--The Elizabeth Bowers Zambia Education Fund (EBZEF). It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that originally began by providing scholarships for girls in the village. Beth was a wonderful role model for the young girls. They call themselves "Beth's Girls." It is impressive to see the changes and progress our small organization has accomplished in this village. In addition to the scholarships, there is a well-stocked Memorial Library, secondary school, pre-school, playground, teachers' houses, clean water, and an ablution block. <br> EBZEF has helped to educate over 315 Beth's Girls. The education of girls is strongly supported by the entire community. It has changed how they view educating girls and how the girls see themselves. EBZEF now provides scholarships for Beth's Girls in college and tertiary schools. <br> I am proud to have been involved with EBZEF since 2007. It is an amazing organization with a remarkable story. Nearly 100 percent of donations go to EBZEF projects. One reason EBZEF has been so successful is because of its partnerships with World Vision USA/Zambia, Engineers Without Borders, and Baal Dan Charities. But, most of all, EBZEF's success is due to the Executive Director, LInda Bowers, and EBZEF volunteers through their tireless work and passion. I highly recommend supporting this organization.

Everyone deserves support in making sure those they leave behind, animal or human, will be cared for and loved. PPOM enables caregivers to address this critical need, and I'm proud to support them both as a donor and as a Board member.

I just hung up trying to speak with a gentleman on the phone from victory outreach in Salem Oregon who was very inconsiderate and kept interrupting and wouldn't let me finish explaining my situation. I just walked out of a 8 year marriage and drove from Stockton california I'm broke, homeless and just had surgery on my hand and desperately need help!!! Thanx a lot victory outreach. Thanx for the love and understanding, is that what Jesus would do???
