Background
In the United States alone there were over 700 disaster and weather related deaths in 2011. From the tsunami and earthquake in Japan, to drought in Africa, to floods in Australia, the world has been struck with many natural disasters in the past few years.
Natural disasters can be traumatic for everyone involved. Fortunately there are many organizations that work to provide relief for the survivors and help them return to a normal life.
You can be a part of the recovery process by helping a disaster aid organization in your area.
