The Hope Center need to do some staff training,they need to practice the home in Edmond Oklahoma have CL leaders with 3 months sobriety already been kicked out of program telling phase one guys what to do while they hide out in the sound boost sleeping. That home needs God in it the leaders need to get back out there and fix the horrific representation representation of Christ that the new babes in Christ ,don't follow the path of those who they have put there life and there family s lives in there hands. It must be stopped you have guy from the gang Aryan brotherhood who are voting and picking their other Aaron Brothers to be leaders over the innocent babes in Christ something must be done

Look at the comments on every one of their Facebook posts: “I can’t believe this one hasn’t been adopted yet!” I can tell you why. It’s because these people are irrational, dismissive, awful communicators, with rigid, unrealistic expectations for potential adopters. Why? Probably because they care more about control than they do the actual welfare of the pets that have the misfortune of being plucked by their organization. They are actively denying pets to happy, loving homes. I would not give one cent to these people.

Sam Austin is not the owner of this ministry. His ministry is in Arkansas under a complete different name, legal 503 legit Non-profit. Someone is using his info to scam people out of money. I wanted to set the record because I tracked him down to discuss a purchase of a building. Sam explained the Attorney General in OK is dealing this is guy, he owns about 12 other properties under this same name.

I am an ambassador with OCJR. They have showed me that my voice matters and led me to finding my own advocacy mission. I was incarcerated for 6 years and came out to over $50,000 in costs and fines. I have developed a program to help myself and other justice involved individuals find relief from excessive costs and fines. OCJR has educated me on the criminal justice system and also helped me navigate public speaking so that I can advocate for my peers with anyone in the court room to the Capital.

I began to search for a place for my family member to live and transition back into society after release from prison. There weren't many places offering felons housing and a chance to get back on their feet, but I found Hand Up Ministries. They accepted his application, gave him a place to live, helped him get everything he needed to get a job. He got a job within a week and has been working and paying his bills. I am grateful to Hand Up for giving him a second chance to rebuild his life.

We had a fantastic experience with Friends with Four Paws. We adopted our dachshund mix Frankie in April 2024. It was our first experience adopting so we weren’t sure what to expect, but we could tell that they had the best interest of the dogs at heart as the interview process began. They checked in afterwards to make sure we were all adjusting ok and it was overall such a positive experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt.

I have volunteered with this organization for nearly 20 years and almost all of my charitable giving goes to Positive Tomorrows. The professionals that run it and the board of directors are totally committed to its mission. I love to see the children lifted up to become contributing members of society!

I have been fostering, volunteering, adopting, and financially supporting OK Humane for more than 7 years. This is the most organized, professional, and caring rescue organization I have ever been involved with. They are so conscientious and loving, from the medical staff, the intake, the adoption center, to the top executive. These people are really great and serve the animal welfare in our community in a colossal way. Please consider being a part of this wonderful asset and partner to our animals and fellow animal advocates!

When my daughter was going thru treatment, the wonderful women of Tenaciously Teal visited her at Stephenson's Cancer Center. One of the gifts they gave her was tea bags, which she quickly figured out were the best tea in the world and it became her favorite drink.<br><br>Seems so small in the grand scheme of knowing your days are numbered, but what a huge treat for her. I still have one bag left that she shared with me.<br><br>Tenaciously Teal - thank you for being so supportive and amazing.

For nearly thirty years I was a member of the artist-faculty of the Oklahoma Arts Institute. During that time, I regarded the experience as a highlight of my professional year. Why? The administration is completely focused on being a diverse faculty, some nationally and internationally recognized, to share their expertise with young students in Oklahoma. These students are accepted in a competitive process and come from cities large and small to join a community who value the importance of creativity and imagination. I know that many of these students regard their experience at OAI as life changing and feel that Quartz Mountain is “home.” OAI offers young people with a place and n opportunity that is unavailable to them in their own communities. I know that the experience of OAI has served to launch students into successful professional lives. That OAI is a gem in the Oklahoma landscape is unquestionable. It serves the citizens of Oklahoma who value the arts, who value education, who value the very best for their children.

Broken Cycle Ranch didn’t just give me services they gave me hope. They proved that real advocacy knows no distance, and that with the right people fighting for you, you can find healing and support no matter where you are.

My name is Jeff and I have been a volunteer for the Oklahoma Jail and Prison Ministry for approx. four (4) years at the Oklahoma City County Jail. I volunteer weekly and it is the absolute highlight of my week! I look forward to going with anticipation and excitement and without exception I come away each week with great joy in my heart after serving! Weekly I have the opportunity to either share the love and saving message of the gospel of Christ with an unbelieving inmate, or lovingly help improve a struggling inmate who is a believer with his walk with the Lord. Without humble volunteers there is no local jail or prison ministry! This ministry is so vital and the staff and other volunteers are such a pleasure to serve with. As Jesus said, "and the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’" There is no thrill like sharing the gospel, and there is no greater pleasure than sharing with "one of the least of these..." I love this ministry and I love serving those who arguably need to hear the good news the most. I would encourage anyone who has ever considered serving to jump aboard, you won't be sorry!

I have worked many cases with Oklahoma Interviewing Services through my career and have come to appreciate that hard work and dedication that they have to their work. I have never had a bad experience when working with them and continue to work with them on many cases. I have nothing but high regards for everyone involved with this organization!

If I could give this place zero stars that would be a more accurate rating. They don't help people, as someone who used to be homeless for 5 years and finally try to get my life back together, I paid them rent every month for over 2 years and they just decide to kick me out with less than 30 day notice, no eviction process, they just pushed me out of my home I rented from them for over 2 years. They don't even have a professional office or building. Pretty sure they are sex offenders who human traffick children, girls, and probably dogs. I promise you don't want anything to do with these low life's.

I was given two bags of over half rotten with green mold oranges a few months back....and I refused to take them home. That is against their policy, but serving out rotten fruit should be agai st their policy too, but they don't mind doing that. I go back today to get food cuz I have no food and no support or family to ask for help, and they refused to give me any food, said I was banned for life from ever receiving help from them cuz I didn't take home rotten oranges. I thought surely this can't be right, a charity for the hungry surely is not going to leave me hungry over breaking one rule one time after BEING GIVEN ROTTEN FRUIT! So I called the director, and I tell her my s tory, reminded her I don't come often only when I ,and I don't have any other help, and asked to plz fix the issue so I can get food and eat I'm so hungry and you can't actually be ok with leaving someone to go hungry over a mistake and a misunderstanding, and she shocked the crap out of me by not only supporting the ban, but she went as far as to accuse me of lying about the rotten fruit, like I am some thief or bum with no respect for the rules or too stupid to come up with one of the 10 billion better lies I could've said if that's what I was truly doing. I was honest to God served rotten fruit, banned from ever getting food for not taking it home, then accued of being a liar and making up the rotten fruit just to get away with breaking a rule. I am at a loss on how to handle this. A charity that feedz the hungry refusing someone who is hungry the right to eat for breaking a rule and calling them a liar when they tried to explain why they broke the rule. What is this world coming to??

World Neighbors is a great organization doing great work around the world. They have excellent staff in each country they work that truly care for their neighbors.

After spending 3 tours in Vietnam, I suffered a head wound due to a helicopter accident along with PTSD. After attending just a few sessions, my headaches and anxiety marked a noticeable improvement. Everytime I was in the chamber, I heard inspiring stories that helped my attitude, mental health along with my body healing. I cannot say enough about hyperbaric healing method but also the generous and giving nature of all the staff. They have a true heart for the Vets.

I’m super grateful for this nonprofit and I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to get involved!
