Programs: Habitat for humanity provides enriched neighborhoods (tm) in the san fernando, santa clarita, and antelope valleys with homes to be sold at affordable prices with interest-free loans to qualified low-income, working families and low-income veteran families. The cobalt housing project is a 12 unit residential development located in sylmar and was completed and transferred in 2014. There is currently one major construction project in progress in collaboration with calvet. Centre pointe is a 78 unit housing project in santa clarita with the first phase of 26 houses scheduled to be completed in 2015. Differences in program services revenue across years is a factor of the number of houses closing in each year.
habitat for humanity has a restore retail operation where home furnishings, home goods, building materials, appliances, and other miscellaneous items are donated to the organization and then sold to the community at a greatly reduced price.
