I ran an AI tutoring project within one of CCFs schools. Working with CCFs stem department was great, it was clear that each decision made was focused around the kids and how to provide them the best opportunity in education too. The wider CCF team were all incredibly friendly and accommodating to help me set up my visa and had the resources I needed to carry out the Pilot with them.

Volunteering for The Children’s Lifesaving Foundation (CLF) has been incredibly meaningful to me. CLF is more than a non profit but a community that inspires change, creates joyful, uplifting memories that provide lasting impacts for the youth & families served. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is hearing directly from the kids after events. When asked what they liked or if they’d come back, the answer is always an enthusiastic yes — often followed by “We loved everything!” You can see how full their hearts are and how much these experiences mean to them. I’ve even witnessed kids arrive feeling sad or anxious and are then quickly transform into confident, happy, carefree kids who feel safe and supported. Each child truly shines through CLF’s programs. Being part of this organization has shown me the power of community, compassion, and consistency and I am grateful to work with a nonprofit that creates real joy and positive change in children’s lives.

As a volunteer command pilot I really appreciate how well Angel Flight West operates. They make it super easy for our patients, ground crews and flight crews to schedule much needed flights. We really have a well oiled machine! That removed a massive headache and allows us to concentrate on providing excellent care for our patients in helping them get to their medical treatments. I have never volunteered for a better organization!

Volunteering with the Orang Utan Republik Foundation Inc. has been an incredibly meaningful and inspiring experience. From participating in their in-person outreach at the LA Zoo to helping educate others about the impact of palm oil on rainforests, every opportunity has shown me just how dedicated, knowledgeable, and passionate this organization truly is. What stands out most is the foundation’s commitment—not only to protecting orangutans and their habitat, but to empowering people through education and awareness. Being part of their mission has deepened my understanding of conservation issues and strengthened my passion for making a positive impact. I became aware of Creative Steps by introduction by a friend as a request for a donation. As a business owner in the Conejo Valley I'm approached by may charities, all with worthy causes. But Creative Steps really hit the mark for me. <br>An amazing group of parents working tirelessly to help their children manuvere through a difficult situation in our society. <br>The dedication of this organization is unsurpassed.

I am so impressed with the ongoing research and advocacy work The 5 Gyres Institute does to spread the word about the dangers of microplastics and microfibres in our environment. Their work has already led to legislative changes to improve our environment. And they are educating the public about every new development in the science exploring the effects of these miniscule plastics/fibres in our air, water and bodies.

The Dillon Henry Foundation is making a remarkable impact globally, significantly improving the lives of countless individuals, particularly children. The foundation funds the Congo Peace School and the Nest program, which are unique educational institutions in the Congo. These schools offer education from nursery through high school, integrating traditional subjects with teachings on self-love and peace.

The Fuzzy Pet Foundation (TFPF) is truly an incredible organization that's doing outstanding work for animals in need. They earn every bit of these five stars and more!<br><br>My interaction with TFPF was nothing short of inspiring. Every member of their team exudes passion and dedication to their mission. Their love for the animals under their care is heartwarming and truly contagious.<br><br>One of the things I find most admirable about TFPF is their unique 'foster care' model. Instead of having a traditional shelter, TFPF ensures each animal is placed in a warm, nurturing foster home. It's so much more than a roof over their heads - it's a safe, loving environment that's conducive to their healing and well-being.<br><br>When it comes to pairing pets with potential adopters, the TFPF team is thorough and thoughtful. They take into consideration every detail: the pet's personality and needs, the adopter's lifestyle and preferences. They aim to find the perfect forever home for each animal, and from my experience, they hit the mark every time.<br><br>The transformations TFPF brings about in the animals they rescue are nothing short of miraculous. This is a horrible place filled with horrible people who don't do anything to help those who are being victimized by other residents. For some reason they are preoccupied with the mothers attempting to fit into low class cliques than they are in ensuring that the environment is safe for those who just want a place to stay and focus on their future, their health, their goals, and their child. Ranting loonies who scream at the wind about events that never happened, and devious, I repentant narcissists who verbally and physically assaulted others are capitulated to while those who are just interested in keeping their head down and prepping for the future are treated like the problem. The case manager is phony, and will smile in your face and then laugh with the childish residents about you right in front of you. Truly despicable and unprofessional behavior.<br><br>Additionally even though they purport to be a Christian organization, out and proud self titled witches who do blood sacrifices are not only allowed to move in, but to rant, rave, and so weird demonic rituals without any pushback from staff. Even more, they have a strange preoccupation with trying to get you to eat food prepared by others and even total strangers you have never met, and will accuse you of not trying to fit in to the "community" if you don't. I ate volunteer food once and found copious amounts of hair in it. The night I left, they told me not to cook my meal for "volunteers" would be providing it. There is a lot of really unsavory things happening at Harvest Home and I would recommend any pregnant woman run for the hills from this place. 0 Stars.

When first approached with the opportunity to partner with Ready, Set, Gold! in 2020, the most important component that I was looking for from their program was commitment to students. As a Physical Education teacher, I witness the resiliency that young people have when they see people come and go in their lives. Ready, Set, Gold! understands the importance and powerful influence that a Coach can have in a student's life when they commit to being there as a mentor, someone they can count on. Since partnering with Ready, Set, Gold!, the Olympians and Paralympians have faithfully shown up and honored their commitment to our students and campuses. I have collaborated with WISE & Healthy Aging in their efforts to serve the senior community for many years. The ingenuity and effectiveness of their programs truly put this organization in a league of their own. In interactions with the staff at WISE & Healthy Aging I am often struck by the sincerity and dedication with which they carry out their incredible work. This is not just a job for this team, they are undoubtedly passionate about what they do.

Well it's scary & embarrassing to go into a public place get asked ALOT of personal questions & then get tested for hiv it's quite intimidating then waiting for the results I was scared & nervous when I got tested at the clinic but the take me home test was non invasive easy to understand & everything I needed to take the test came inside the compartment drawer it only took 20 minutes I didn't have to be embarrassed or have my privacy invaded I was impressed at the take me home hiv test it was comforting to retest myself & no need to panic about waiting for the results <br>I highly recommend getting the take me home hiv test especially if you're unsure if you have it or not I recommend waiting a year after exposure so the test can surely detect the Hiv virus in your saliva <br>

After having taught orchestra at Samohi for 17 years, I have had the pleasure of having many students who, at an early age, honed their musical skills through their participation in the Elemental Music program. Once these students reached high school, they exhibited extraordinary musicianship but more importantly, early on, they developed a love of music and a commitment towards achieving a goal. There are multiple studies that conclude that students who are involved in music receive better grades and test scores throughout the curriculum than students without a musical background. Elemental Music is an enrichment program that gives students a strong foundation that will help them develop musically, socially, and academically. <br><br>

But no...I am stuck in this 10x10 room hot, sick, worried, scared, confused, ill, isolated not knowing if things will get worse. I so much would like to change this story around...I know I will some day. I am 58 diagnosed with heart failure, alls thats wrong with me is my heart wont pump strong enough...My medication has blown me up I am getting use to them and started doing better was searching for housing....Now,being cooped up and no one wanting to work is not helping..I have asked for help from my doctor, case workers, senior centers, HUD, LACAD housing, alls I get is go try here..and here only for them to push me out again go here we will put you on wait list..Ive waited over a year..I am so tired, worn out, feel that I cant do anything about this....I am so tired...I am italain, thats how i got to this site...I dont know who you are but will google a place called home after this note. I was searching for housing and got the golden age affordable senior housing..they all are chineese...where do I belong???? Where do I belong?..I am italain,,where do i search???its taken me here...A place called home? I am 58,,,,not 62 or 65....I am disabled on SSDI...food stamps I need help with housing...1 bedroom larger than 10x10 or apartment or studio...or even share a 2 bedroom with another elder...Please help me if you can..my email is jeannie.perri1 at gmail, dot com. I have worked with many arts providers In the public school system. Many are well intentioned and have excellent staff, but many are either unable to serve a high volume of children or are unable to get the children truly participating on a level that makes funding the programs worthwhile. <br> <br>CDI is an extraordinary program because it wastes no time getting children fully involved. It serves high volumes of kids and gets them all on their feet and feeling that they have abilities they didn’t know they possessed. Kids develop dance proficiency as well as personal confidence in their bodies and their artistic gifts. The students become excited participants in dance and both boys and girls learn to enthusiastically express themselves and create meaningful dance pieces by using their minds, hearts and bodies. <br> <br> As a school we continue to support this program year after year because the results are mind-blowing. Kids adore the program and eagerly await dance days. The level of commitment and proficiency they demonstrate when the final pieces are performed is awe inspiring. Furthermore, the program always create pieces with positive and educational messaging so that the kids are realizing dance can be a medium to create not only beautiful pictures but also to express meaning and intention. Pieces, in the past, have explored historical figures, social movements, animal life and science through dance. The staff wisely incorporates a variety of classical, popular, and modern music and accessible choreography to shape pieces that teach and reach every student. It’s a program that lives up to and then always far surpasses its promises and our schools expectations.
