Creative World Art Center is a small nonprofit organization that helps supplements arts education in schools. They work with teachers and school administrators to incorporate visual arts in their curriculum. They make great use of my donated money towards their Create the Future program.

Their advertisement for help with funding boasts helping homeless get housing and also help with funeral expenses if needed. I have never seen it done and I have been going there over 5 years. I also needed help with money management and the money ended up funny with the staff in charge. If you need services...go elsewhere if your over 18

The Los Angeles Arboretum is a wonderful place to visit. Its rich with history and has a 127 acres for all ages to enjoy. <br><br>During a stroll on the grounds, you will see hundreds of ever changing trees and plants which make each visit feel as if it were your first. <br><br>Through the support of the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation and over 300 volunteers, members and guests can enjoy various gardens, Baldwin Lake, historical buildings and attend educational programs and special events.

I was so touched and amazed, that for my donation, I received a letter from the recipient for the corrective surgery. Given here in the UK people will spend a fortune on cosmetic surgery I could transform a life! I need not add anything to this. They always send me letters and publications. All of the reviews against the club were orchestrated by a group of disgruntled parents that are nothing but troublemakers and have a history of complaining for not getting their ways. It's obvious from their reviews that it's a personal attack on the club that has been serving the community for over 40 years. Take it with a grain of salt. Trust me, these individuals are immature and self-serving.

This organization is collecting donations weekly, and the average amount is around 7k per week. But the funny thing is, it is not registered with IRS as a non-profit organization. Our organization reaches out and makes a difference in so many peoples lives: school children, seniors, the visually impaired, mothers with newborn infants and more. We have auxiliaries that enable working individuals, high school students and young adults a place to volunteer. I have been a member since my daughter joined in 2004, and I am still a member today even after my daughter has gone off to college because, every member has an interest in and operates this organization - none of us are paid, and if we don't show up for our volunteer days our doors would have to close. After a day of volunteering at one of our programs, I feel thankful that I was able to make a difference in a someones' life because that's what we do at Assistance League of Arcadia.

My lifetime maximums have dwindled down to less than $100,000, and I have not finished chemotherapy. I would not be able to cure my disease and my four children would be motherless. I could have an additional $76,522.32 towards the balance of my treatment, if Methodist Hospital of Southern California, would send back the overpayment to Anthem Blue Cross. Since Blue Shield is contracted with this hospital, I had a balance of $3,428.02. Anthem Blue Cross paid $79,950.34. This leaves an overpayment of $76,522.32. For the dates of service 5/28/09-6/03/08 the total amount billed was $82,558.58. Methodist Hospital of Southern California was paid $79,950.34 by Anthem Blue Cross, and $16,221.98 by Blue Shield of California, which totals $ 96,172.32. They paid $13,613.74 over the billed amount. The thought of a mother with cancer dying, because she cannot afford to pay the balance of her medical treatment, due to the decrease of $76,522.32, by a hospital that was paid in full, is incorrigible. There are some things that are simply immoral, and a calculated gorge of a patient’s medical insurance policy, in order to pad the pockets of the board of director’s of Methodist Hospital. Methodist Hospital should have provided service, and should only get paid for those services. They should not get to benefit, gain an income, or profit from the insurances that I pay for out of my own pocket, is terrible, especially from a "non-profit."
