Wells Bring Hope was started on the simple, but challenging, premise that bringing safe water to the people of Niger, one of the 3 poorest countries in the world, would dramatically change - and save - the lives of thousands of people. Under the wise and creative guidance of Barbara Goldberg, WBH's founder, they have been enormously successful, positively impacting over 800,000 lives. To see what WBH has accomplished since its inception - the number of wells they have drilled, clinics they have established, their phenomenal find raising efforts, the quality of information on their website is truly astonishing. WBH is a true non-profit. You can be confident that 100% of your donation goes towards water projects, and when you do donate, you receive a report about the village you are helping to support. WBH connects you directly to the efforts you are supporting. It's rewarding and heart warming. And...the organization is all volunteer (only one paid employee). Remarkable!!

Stien and I are street artists from Thailand and Norway, and we had a residency at Bangkok1899. Everything was excellent. The place is quiet at night despite being in the heart of the city. There is space to exhibit artwork, a garden, and a charming café downstairs. The atmosphere is perfect for creating art. They also helped us with art supplies, installation, and promotion for the exhibition, as well as managing everything on the opening day. It was truly impressive.

This charity only does not bring more possibilities for kids to study but it also brings awareness that many lacks the education others get.

I have been donating to The Survivor Mitzvah Project for many years, and I cannot say enough about the integrity and heart behind their work. Knowing that every dollar goes directly into the hands of a survivor in need gives me complete confidence that my donations are truly making a difference. For every contribution I make, I receive a personal thank-you letter, which means so much. I also consistently receive my annual tax receipts promptly, making everything simple and transparent. Whenever I speak with someone at the organization, they are always friendly, compassionate, and genuinely willing to help. It is rare to find a nonprofit that combines such efficiency, transparency, and heartfelt dedication. I am proud to support The Survivor Mitzvah Project and will continue to do so for years to come.

An inspiring organization that truly cares about their community. Such a well run program that educates, gives structure and cares. I was fortunate to spend some time in the classroom, hanging out with the staff and children and getting a glimpse of their lives. I also got the privilege to hear some hopes that they have. What a special place!

I had an amazing time going around the village with Linda. We saw the school and were greeted by the locals to chants and dancing. It was a surreal experience. I loved seeing and hearing about how the water wells helped the locals become more educated and more entrepreneurial. Thank you for the warm welcome I hope to be back.

I do believe in the just cause of this organisation. The website of this organisation seems valid and legit. And even though if it was a fraud or something, I believe that my sincere intentions are alone for me. I met a guy collecting funds for this organisations. I agreed to give some money like 50$, but he unjustly, using deception and charging 150$ more from my debit card. This is not a way to push someone from donation. That extra money he took from me, God will not forgive in any case. There is way of motivating or encouraging them to make donations all, but deceptions seem to be the root of this kind of organisation. They will be dealth accordingly as soon as I see them in my area.. Excellent rating is just so that my feedback does show up

My family has been involved with KCIS from the get go. I was a child and my parents dedicated their 50th, 60th and now 70th birthdays to KCIS. Our belief in what they do and how amazingly they do it is unshakable. KCIS has grown organically to a thriving nonproft benefitting thousands of students.

My personal first hand experiences with this nonprofit have exposed an enormous amount of dedication and compassion within every member. Ohana One makes direct impacts on third world country hospitals and its patients in a way that fully utilizes every resource to its fullest extent. I cannot begin to convey the admiration and respect I have for the people who support and contribute to the efforts of this organization!

I served a short term service in Uganda in 2017 with Mission Doctors. I currently am a practicing OB/GYN. My experience was so rewarding and fulfilling in all aspects, from the informational retreat, the suggested placement of where to serve, helpful resources, partnering me with another seasoned physician, but most importantly being able to live out a dream. I am such a fan of the people involved with this organization that I became a board member in 2020. Our goals are to provide best of care to patients and there are numerous stories that MDA does make a difference in saving lives. We also want to give interested Catholic health care providers the opportunity to serve either long or short term. We have extremely committed staff and physicians. It is an honor to be part of Mission Doctors.

I had the real honor of working with the KDI Kenya team as an engineering intern summer in 2012. One of the most impressive aspects that makes KDI an outstanding organization is the commitment, cohesiveness, and expertise of the team members. The people KDI brings together, from industry experts to local leaders, not only make the community-driven design process successful, but empowers communities to come together around co-creating beautiful usable spaces equitably serving all community stakeholder groups. I can highly recommend Kounkuey Design Initiative as a leading and high-impact organization with a highly effective team worth investing in and joining.

This group is protecting the most vulnerable of people from abuses by psychiatrists. CCHR is a worldwide mental health watchdog and has been highly effective in getting legislation passed in many countries to prevent abuses in the field of mental health.

I attended one of the mental health awareness sessions with my daughter and it really helped us start conversations we had been avoiding. Thank you, EXPOSE, for creating a space where families can talk openly and learn together.

DO NOT waste your hard earned money donating to this group. In fact, IRS needs to have a rule to expose all salaries and expenses of non-profits to the general public since it's our tax money that funds most of these non-profits.

I have stage 4 breast cancer and was living in Illinois. My family of me, my husband, three children, and my mother decided it would be better to live out my days in Las Vegas where I had lived for 15 years previously and because of the tumors invading my bones it would be better on my pain. When we arrived in Nevada we found out that there wasn't any insurance available to me but the hospital and doctors that I have been working with in Illinois would continue to see me. In a scan at the end of December they found two new tumors on my ribcage and I needed to have two weeks of radiation. I did not know how I was going to get to Illinois for the treatment. I contacted Mercy and within days I had a flight for me and my mother to get this treatment done. I am hoping that if I need to go to Illinois again, I need procedures every month and the insurance is not looking good in Nevada, I will be able to use the services of Mercy again. I do not know how I would be able to get my radiation without this great company. They were so kind, helpful and fast in getting me a flight and I thank God that they were able to help me.

This organization has educated hundreds of thousands of people across the world about the negative effects of drugs based on factual information. I have firsthand knowledge of what they can do and the review below is prejudice and uninformed. This organization is creating a better world and the money to fund this non-profit actually comes out of the pocket of many individual Scientologists so I can why this person might be confused as to the connection with Scientology.

Wow. I've been a supporter and a fan for 35 years They have the lowest percentage of overhead of any international relief and development group I have ever seen. Their slogan, "If you give -- it gets there" is absolutely true,

Over two years ago, the Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach was approached by Nomad Hope to partner on a clean water, solar and sanitation project in rural Mali to benefit 6 schools. The Rotary Club recognized the quality of the proposal and signed on to partner. To date, over $60,000 has been raised to provide for 2 of the 6 schools, and grants are in progress to provide more resources for the remaining schools. The Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach is amazed and thrilled with the professionalism and follow-through of Nomad Hope and it's executive leadership.

I joined late last year (2012 ) and wish now I had done my homework! This non-profit is a sham! Their events are not unique - they ride on the coat tails of events for other organizations and then claim the events as their own exclusive achievments, they pretty much scrape the bottom of the barrel, are hemorhaging money, and to top it all off, their executives and board are all involved in some kind of sex orgie lawsuit now. God only knows what's coming next with these people, but I'm not sticking around to find out.

Having met the founder of Kardelen in college 40 years ago, I have felt very comfortable supporting this organization. I know of no other group in the country of Turkey who is sacrificially working with the disabled in such a life changing and effective way. Working in the homes of the children and young adults, alongside the parents and other family members demonstrating in a learn-by-doing approach is the heart of this program. I have seen the results with my own eyes. I would highly recommend the Kardelen Program to anyone with a heart for the disabled and their families.

I had been looking for an opportunity to volunteer in a developing country, but most organizations required that you have an MA and prior experience. I got in touch with the Niapele Project and they were looking for someone to volunteer from Feb - Apr of 2007 at Buduburam Refugee Camp near Accra, Ghana. They were looking for someone who was passionate about the projects they were running. I was very interested in volunteering with them because of my interest in sustainable programs in developing countries and because the refugee camp was primarily Liberian refugees. Since my boyfriend is Liberian, the cause was very close to my heart. When I went there, they had arranged everything for me - There was someone at the airport to get me, they rented a small house for me on the camp, and had someone show me around and introduce me to the people I would be working with. My main responsibilities were to help out with the School Feeding Program and ARCH (the Abandoned Refugee Children's Home). Celina and Penelope (the directors of Niapele) were wonderful to work with. I would email them each day about the progress that was being made and they would help direct me and tell me what they would like to have done. I keep in touch with them and hopefully I will be participating in some fundraising activities in the Spring. The Niapele Project is such an amazing organization. They are bringing hope and stability to a community that so desperately needs help. The school children benefit from having a dependable meal each day and the ARCH children are being given a warm, welcoming home and a brighter future.
