This is one of the best non profit organizations I have ever been involved with in the last 25 years. They are more focused with uplifting entire village through informal education. EKAL also promotes woman empowerment through self reliance by giving various training which include digital literacy.<br>Also they promote organic farming and anti substance drive for better family values.<br>So I strongly support their cause ..

This nonprofit organization is truly an inspiration. I've been with them for ten years and I have witnessed how they changed the lives of their recipients. From the children who benefited the early childhood preschool and daily feeding program, to the parents who were taught different livelihood activities and lifted their spiritual hopes through Bible studies and devotions. Indeed, empowering the lives of the communities in need.

Conviventia is a world-class partner! I serve as the Mobilization pastor at Grace Covenant Church in Austin, TX. Our church began partnership with Conviventia in 2023–the same year we mobilized our first short-term team to Bogota. In Conviventia we found a partner that aligns with our values of empowerment, local church, and holistic transformation. Pre-field, their leadership is intentional about building a trip experience that compliments the gifts of the team coming to serve and works with church leadership to equip the team for fruitful ministry. Their transformational approach has become the model of ministry for our church to our neighbors. We continue to learn from Conviventia and are blessed to partner with them in Colombia. Through AMIGOS, I was able to deeply engage in environmental justice work that was meaningful, community-driven, and hands-on. From trash clean-ups and seed banks to working with local organizations like the Ministry of the Environment, every moment felt purposeful. Living with a host family and forming real relationships with community members gave me a new understanding of cultural humility and connection. I wasn’t just visiting — I was learning, growing, and contributing alongside others. One of the most impactful parts for me was teaching — not just English, but connecting with students through relatable, age-appropriate lessons about the environment, identity, and our shared world. It introduced me to culturally responsive teaching before I even had the language for it. AMIGOS also gave me the confidence to lead without needing all the answers. It showed me that just being curious and committed is enough to make a difference. Years later, I’m still drawing lessons from that.

I have been associated with Sewa International USA for over 10 years. Sewa International is a Global non profit organization that serves people. Whether is disaster recovery and relief work, neighborhood sewa through parks and road cleanup, making sandwiches for the homeless, helping cleaning up after a hurricane, or helping under privileged kids excel in their studies or creating a space where the refugee and immigrant students can find their place in the community, Sewa International is in the forefront of service. <br>An organization with amazing transparency working to serve and empower the community through their many programs. <br>I am truly inspired with the works and service of Sewa International.

What a heart for ministry and for serving the Mexican people. God is using this ministry to open opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus in great ways, especially through the provision of clean water!

This was an amazing event to be able to attend! I enjoyed every moment at the reception desk and getting to see all the families and having an opportunity to speak with them for just a couple of seconds. They all have come a long way and I am so proud of each of them even though I don’t know them very well but have hear stories about specific families.

I have watched this nonprofit grow. It has grown in a very sustainable way, and has already affected the lives of many families in India. Women and girls who are being given a choice, and education, knowledge. They are not just sending money that makes a short time change, but through education, and knowledge change that is permanent.

COCI has supported our organization, No More Victims, Inc., advocacy agency for newborns and children of incarcerated parents, Houston, TX for several years through funding, guidance and participation in our events. We are so honored to have their support. They are truly compassionate and committed to helping serve, protect and provide for children on a global scale. The administration, board of directors and volunteers are amazing individuals. COCI is a wonderful foundation with great leadership. One more thing that I would like to share is that COCI is also compassionate, caring and committed to the non-profits they support which is so very important as well. No More Victims is so proud to be a part of the COCI family. They deserve a billion star rating.

I am an automation engineer who moved to Houston from Monterrey, Mexico, in September, after marrying my then-girlfriend, Erika, in July. I currently volunteer at Medical Bridges as a Sort Room Volunteer.<br /><br />I found out about Medical Bridges thanks to my career coach, who set objectives for me, including volunteer work. I came across Medical Bridges online in August and have volunteered twice a week since then.<br /><br />In looking for volunteer opportunities in Houston, I wanted to open the door for employment opportunities in the medical industry and thought it would be a good idea to volunteer in a medical-related organization, to expand my network of contacts. <br /><br />Whether it's just a regular day, sorting new, incoming boxes or whether it's sorting a big pile of orthopedic devices, or even sorting the full bins with many different items, I like those challenges. They take my mind of the challenges of job hunting, while helping me achieve that same goal.<br /><br />Beyond sorting medical supplies, I also lent my process document skills and designed a sorting instruction guide that will eventually be used in the Sort Room as a tool for new volunteers. The way I see it, it will help things go faster. That's what I do, professionally, as an automation engineer.<br /><br />This world needs more people willing to volunteer. There are just not enough hands to help those in need. Just a couple of hours a week can make a big impact in your life, as well as many others.

Auda is a nonprofit organization that has been working with the indigenous community in Guatemala for over five years. Last year (´08-&lsquo;09) the organization started to grow and needed a website to present their projects for receiving volunteers and donations. They asked me if I was able to setup a basic website. In the month of February/March 2009 I worked for Auda on their website and that went really swell. They gave me the freedom to kinda do what I thought was best and corrected me from there on. (just minor suggestions). The content (most important of all) was mostly delivered/prepared for me. My experiences were positive! They are well organized and doing constructive work in Guatemala. I have been using this organization to make payments to missionaries in Mexico since August 2024. They have made several errors on my account and have not been helpful in recovering money that they claim has been refunded to me. They do not have a website that allows me to manage my account and though they have a third party portal, I am not able to sign on because the assigned password that they included in a statement (which is also odd) is invalid. I am disappointed with the service and lack of attention to this matter. I would not recommend that this organization be used for donations. I will be contacting my missionary families to find another way to support them.

My first visit to the Micah Project (located in Tegucigalpa, Honduras) was in 2011. Never before had I so tangibly witnessed God’s redemption. This organization is literally reaching into the lives of society’s least of the least and through the power of the gospel is changing lives. Boys who’ve grown up on the city’s streets with gang violence and drug addiction are being transformed. They’re learning they have a Heavenly Father who treasures them and through the Micah staff and missionaries, they now have an earthly family who love them too. They are nurtured physically, emotionally, spiritually and educationally. Many of the boys go on to college. The success rate at Micah is beyond the norm due to their modeling of Gods never ending grace. It is a family that I am blessed to be a part of as a volunteer, donor, Board member, and race director of an annual 5k fundraiser for Micah.

We have been a part of the International Cultural Exchange since 2001 when I came to this country to pursue my PhD. We were very fortunate and blessed to meet such generous people. They made our transition into this new culture very smooth. The service this group does for the international students is invaluable. We are proud to be still closely associated with the Exchange and appreciate all the good work that is still being done. Bala and Maya Nair

I had donated money and school supplies to this charity at an event in the US and wanted to check it out first hand when I was visiting Guatemala. I went to the SANA school and was so impressed to see these school supplies IN THE HANDS OF THE CHILDREN and the person whom I had met in the US personally overseeing things in the health clinic. I saw the children wearing the prescription glasses that had been donated. There is no doubt that money donated goes straight to Guatemala's most needy.

Coreluv review — <br><br>I am going to try and word this as best I can. I have been silent for a while about this organization for fear of backlash from the leaders, but I need to say a few things in case this brings light to anyone else’s story as well. I gave everything to this organization, EVERYTHING, and all my time. I faithfully served them stateside and in Haiti on multiple trips and truly felt like I was serving God and serving the orphans and beautiful people in Haiti too. This organization and it’s leaders are spiritually and financially abusive, and manipulative as well. I was so young and truly feel so used and taken advantage of. I’m still recovering from the trauma and shame put onto me years later. I grieve over my time and energy lost trying to serve along side them.

They have treated their staff very bad. Crooks. Mr. Phil Maanulwa is mean. Shame on him.

I am a Board member of Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston. Three, four years ago on the Meals on the Wheels program, IM served around two thounds home bound seniors every day. We had a long waiting list of hungry seniors, and our budget was in the deep red. Our CEO and Board members decided to do the unthinking able; we decided to open up the waiting list to served more seniors and took our messages to our community and organizations to secure and and solicite more funding. Long story short, today our Meals on the Wheels program serve almost 4,500 seniors in our Houston community every day. There is no longer a waiting list. We even serve breakfast, weekend meals and pet food for seniors who have pets and have special needs. We also expanded our interfaith relations program with the launching of the Amazing Faith Dinner dialogue program, Ready Houston and Congregation to Congregation program. Those programs provide people of different faith traditions a chance to communicate, learn and understand each other and to serve the community together. I can't find a nonprofit organization that is more worthy of your support. We not only serve the needy in our community we also try to build a community of trust, understanding and tolerance. We are working hand in hand with all congregations to make Houston a better place for people of all faith traditions and all ages.

Nicoya & Friends Christian Mission is making great efforts to end human trafficking. This mission collaborates with Free For Life Ministries in the fight against human trafficking. Nicoya & Friends raises funds in Houston, Texas to support their center in Managua, Nicaragua for victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking.

I have on a weekly based corresponded with the president Mrs.Lucy Gatete, a great servant of God, humble and motherly with the children. It amazes me the way she is restless when the childrent do not have food or school fees. This is a great opportunity to give back to what God has done for you. Thanks for your support.
