Healthy Women, Healthy World project supports that mission, focusing specifically on efforts to increase breast cancer screening opportunities in rural communities, reduce known barriers to care and address late-stage incidence rates for high-risk, low-resource populations.
Results: In 2022, the Global Breast Care Initiative provided for three focus groups and provided over 700 women with breast health education, outreach, and breast health services. Through grants and contributions, we also provide breast prostheses for breast cancer patients post-mastectomy. These services include Certified fittings.

I did not have the money to purchase a breast prosthesis after my surgery and chemotherapy. Global Breast Care Initiative provided me with a form for free. I am very grateful.
This organization helped convince my mom that breast health screening was essential. While we had waited too long for her, I will always be grateful for their perseverance.
Imagine free breast health check-ups in a rural setting, mountain village or church community. It is a reality and this organization is making it happen. The will receive my donations and my gratitude.
I am excited to be a part of the Global Breast Care Initiative and the Healthy Women, Healthy World! project. With more than 20 years in breast cancer non-profit, this organization is unique in its focus and understanding of a global issue.
We found this breast health nonprofit online and were impressed with the new scanning technology offered and the approach to reaching all women regardless of cost or location. We are volunteering at the next event and can not wait to help.

Amazing use of new ideas and technology to expand access to breast screening. Their Scanning Projects consider geography and cultural as an integral part of healthcare. Very honored to be a part of these projects.
