Programs: In the last fiscal year, faith in practice volunteers saw approximately 16,500 patients in medical clinics, performed over 4,000 surgeries and procedures, treated approximately 3,800 dental patients, screened nearly 3,000 patients for cervical cancer, and treated more than 160 cervical patients with cryotherapy. The total fair market value of these donated medical services is $4,221,091 and the value of donated facilities is $48,347, which includes $3,325,244 of in-kind donations that are not reported on form 990. Faith in practice volunteers also train guatemalan providers to screen for cervical cancer and conduct health and medical education programs, including traditional birth attendant training on emergency birth techniques.
