I have only one car to get to work. It stopped running and I didn't have a way to get to work. I am the provider of my family. I contacted Parnell Intermediary Services Inc. to help me get my car fixed.It not only help me get my car fixed. Parnell gave me transportation to to work until my car came back for the shop. I didn't lose my job. I'm so grateful.

Elijah Rising is one of those companies that truly lives out what it believes. The company's culture reflects this; it is honest, hardworking, and passionate about ending human trafficking. It excels at raising awareness among the masses and equipping and training people to love and care for those who feel trapped. Elijah Rising is a trustworthy, excellent company.

Suzanne has always been a great advocate since the day I met her and has always been a listening ear! She and her group do such great that she comes with not only recommendations from this side of the walls, but even when men are having issues she and her group came recommended for my husband. They are the voice of the voiceless! <br> <br>

Everyone needs a village, not just for children but adults need that love and support too! I’m so grateful for this non profit organization! They genuinely care, love and support their community in anyway possible! I love being connected to people who are passionate about helping others!!

I have been involved with Spirit Key since 2008-2009, when I visited a board meeting. I was touched by the work that Allen Rice and Jim Elliott were doing without a physical property. In early 2009, Spirit Key was able to secure property with some financial help. I have been a supporter of Spirit Key's efforts since 2009. The program started with one resident in 2009 to over 30 in 2013. Men struggling to return to society are welcomed with open arms, open heart, and the spirit of God. Men transform their lives with the Bible studies, a church service every Sunday, work assignments on the property, counseling, support, and job assistance help from a local job ministry. I am honored to be involved and support the efforts of Spirit Key.

My attitude used to be, lock'em up and throw away the key...that was until I realized that when they get out, they come to live in your neighborhood and mine! In the fall of 2011, in God's perfect timing, I was invited by a victim volunteer to a Bridges to Life graduation. We listened to man after man tell how their involvement in BTL had made a powerful and positive impact in their life. The quote I wrote down that evening from a graduating offender was "I now realize that my family is my biggest victim because I am not there for them." <br>Because of that evening and my on-going 2 year involvement as a volunteer, I support Bridges to Life both financially and as a volunteer group facilitator in a unit. I am blessed to watch men begin the 16 week program very reserved, suspicious, hard, and closed. By program end these same men choke back tears because someone has loved them at just the right time in their life as they experience personally a part of the BTL mission statement "...transforming power of God's love and forgiveness." <br>Furthermore the BTL Book and Study guide have opened their hearts and minds to accept responsibility for their actions, confess and repent of past wrongs, ask for forgiveness and pursue reconciliation and restitution where possible. It is hard to believe a program could be this effective to turn the hearts of men towards God and their families but it happens time and time again. Men for the first time in their life have a vision of themselves out of prison, back in their families lives and making a positive difference in their community. I simply have not found a better use of my time and treasure than investing in the least of these.

Escape facilitated a great session on Discipline not punishment at Spring Woods Middle School last year. It was engaging and applicable. They are a great organization!

I believe GRACE is a wonderful organization that makes a significant difference in the criminal justice system. I have volunteered for GRACE for a year and a half, and I have learned more than I could have possibly hoped. I plan on staying at GRACE for the foreseeable future. I truly believe GRACE has helped to better the criminal justice system and I know that GRACE has taught me invaluable lessons and will continue to do so. I recommend this organization wholeheartedly.

I am a nurse volunteer at Rapha Ministries. I love having the opportunity to help my community through such a wonderful ministry. Rapha Ministries offers medical care to uninsured individuals. At Rapha, we also look forward to helping people with emotional and spiritual needs, as well as meeting their need for medical attention. <br> <br>I have seen people come into Rapha Ministries looking downcast and expressing hopelessness, yet when they leave they have a smile and a renewed sense of hope. This in itself is rewarding! <br> <br>One patient came in on my first day at Rapha. This individual does a lot for his community, but unfortunately could not afford insurance. He said he had been feeling down, sick, and had a lack of energy. Rapha set up a sleep study for him and discovered he had severe sleep apnea. A Bi-pap machine and masks were donated to the patient and he began treatment for this life-threatening condition. <br> <br>The next time I saw this patient, he looked like a different person. He had a smile on his face and seemed much more energetic. He said, "I feel so much better." This individual got his life back and is now able to go back to serving the community around him. This is only one of many such cases. Rapha Ministries is a life line for numerous individuals in our community.

This one of the best organization in Texas. Mrs. Parker organization active for 17th years. This orgnaization help kids all over Texas and outside of the Texas area.

We are in the process of changing our name to Harris Resources Foundation, supporting the organization, Harris County Resources for Children and Adults. Our focus is still providing support services to enhance the lives of children and adults served by the Harris County Resources, but the focus is on those children and adults who HAVE NOT penetrated the protective service or juvenile probation system--to provide resources to keep them stable, productive and living quality lives. And even those who are in the system, we can offer services to help them transition out and live productive lives. Harris Resources Foundation--A Source of HOPE!! I once was employed by Harris County Resources and have retired after 42 years of service. However, I am the president of the Foundation still wanting to be a source of hope!!!! Very exciting Charity that can help many people in need.

When my daughter went missing, this organization reached out to me in my time of stress and need. They went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did they assist in finding her, but they helped find and get her to a safe place. Melissa Rangel was my contact there and blew me away with her devotion to my case. <br> <br>I cannot thank them enough. They were definitely the answer to this mother's prayers. I served as an AmeriCorps member for 2 years, and I really got a lot out of it. I was able to experience different cultures and lifestyles than the one I grew up with. I met a lot of interesting individuals and I feel that I made difference in at least one person life through my volunteer work. Youth Advocates is a very unique place with many unique people such breakdancers (which I had never been exposed to before this), poets, grafitti artists, etc. I like how these kids, who might get judged by their communities, have a place to come and hang out that's positive instead being found causing trouble in the streets. Youth Advocates does good work and is willing to help an individual in any way they can.
