RedRover was an incredible source of support during one of the most frightening times I have experienced as a pet owner. The process was easy to navigate, and everyone I interacted with was kind, compassionate, and understanding. They made me feel heard and supported while I was worried about my pet’s health and helped make lifesaving veterinary care possible when I needed it most. I am incredibly grateful for the assistance they provided and for the care they show to animals and the people who love them.

I called about a dog I was told that she was in the facility but not available until march 25 but it first come first serve so come early, my whole family including 4 small children show up an hour early to pick yup this signaled new moon and when I get there mind you were first in line ther inform us she was adopted on the 23 a day after I called and was told she wouldn’t be available for adoption until the 25th, I don’t know what type of establishment there running but I hate being lied to

Eli my beautiful orange Maine Coon, swallowed a piece of foam. It got stuck in the top part of his intestine. I learned this after a morning of throwing up, being listless, and not eating. I immediately brought him to my local veterinary hospital. Before Eli was even seen, I was looking at estimates of $3500-$7000. I gasped out loud. The techs gave Eli fluids, took bloodwork, x-rays, and then ultrasound. I was told that he needed surgery and I began to panic. I panicked not only for my poor baby, but for my inability to pay the outrageous veterinary bill. It ended up being $5100.00. I am a single teacher, and don't make that much money. When you invest over $5,000 into anything, Iet alone a non-profit, to aid in your disability I'm sure you'd expect a high amount of quality in the help you're receiving. I can say the most that's come from this donation (let's call a spade a spade) is a great dog that was rescued. <br><br>I came to Alpha K9 in the early stages for help. I'm not a veteran, but my PTSD is debilitating none the less. Working for non profits for over a decade, I understand the ups and downs. However, when you are relying on someone to provide you with the assistance needed to function in the outside world with a service dog, and spending thousands of dollars to do so, there is no excuse for poor work. That's like having a wheel chair with one wheel. <br><br>Alpha K9 grew by leaps and bounds from the empty industrial garage into a large training facility with all the bells and whistles during the few years I was there. The training did not. My Service dog was never K9 Good Citizen certified while I trained there, though stated in my contract. She has no defined tasks to aid in my disability, though the contract states she should. I could go on and on about the correspondence my wife and I have had with admin and Alpha K9, but that too is poor. Yet, my family has had to chalk the thousands of dollars we don't have as a donation to a non profit that we apparently help fund, but to the benefit of the organization only. <br><br>I had to draw the line when staff determine that some of their clients are faking disabilities, while also behaving exceptionally unprofessional around my children. <br><br>Fortunately I've moved forward and have a service dog that not only meets the ADA requirements, but exceeds them. After being evaluated by a handful of other organizations and trainers, my Alpha K9 service dog is enjoying a life at home.

Do not volunteer here!! My husband and I were dedicated fosters with them for over 6 years. Literally have fostered 100’s of kittens. Even when we moved to Roseville we stayed with them. But because of some “incident” that I am being accused of (which they won’t tell me what I am being accused of) I was told that I would be on “suspension” until an investigation was done. WTF?? So I’m being accused of something and they don’t have the balls to say what it is Do not volunteer your time, gas, money, blood and tears to this crappy organization.

Vegan Outreach is known for their massive outreach program of leafleting on college campuses where they hand out booklets to about one million students at 1,000 schools per semester. They're a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to end violence towards animals. <br> <br>They also focus on outreach involving free vegan food samples, showing virtual reality videos, and tabling booklets at vegfests, cat and dog festivals, Comic-Cons, yoga festivals, farmers markets, and other fairs and conventions worldwide. <br> <br>We first heard of Vegan Outreach when we were surveying the possibility of creating technology at college campuses to help students with animal rights outreach programs. We were excited to see that an organization like Vegan Outreach had already been laying down the groundwork for several years on campuses around the world in an effort to educate students on factory farming and veganism. <br> <br>Later we partnered with Vegan Outreach's Mentorship Program in order to increase Vegan Bootcamp's effectiveness to over 10,000 non-vegans who were taking courses on going vegan. Our experience with Vegan Outreach's staff has been nothing short of amazing and we're so excited to continue both working with them and seeing what other great things they will be doing for the movement. <br> <br>We highly recommend checking Vegan Outreach out whether you want to get involved, learn more about them, or support their work by sharing or donating. <br> <br>Thanks for all that you do!

First of all what an idiot the anonymous sender of the comment dated August 2013 is. Have you heard of spell check? Its hard to take you serious with the outrageous spelling errors you made. Noah's Wish is a legitimate (sp) organization and individuals who get terminated for bad decisions and poor judgement while in the field should move on. Defamation of character is a crime. Sorry to inform you that the sexual harassment allegations were found to be false and dismissed in a court of law. Again idiot get your facts straight before making false and dishonest accusations against this organization. Disgruntled ex employees should accept the fact they were dismissed for not following the organizations strict rules and breaking the law while in the field witnessed by clients. Sexual harassment what a joke and the court of law felt the same way. Idiots nothing more than mad lonely broads with nothing better to do than type crap about a place that provides excellent services. Spell check idiot.

SAAC is an amazing organization! As a volunteer with Spay Day 2011, I was tremendously impressed with how organized and well thought out the process was. The computer program designed for scheduling appointments was excellent. I have used similar programs for business that literally cost millions to design and maintain - and they pale in comparison to the SAAC program which was created by several volunteers. <br> <br>

Val with HART is so amazing and dedicated! Through HART she helped a friend who is financially challenged get her cats fixed, shots,etc., and she personally provided all transportation ( a pregnant mom, her 4 young kittens and a young tom). She has since followed up with the situation, helping with sick kitties (medicine, wormings), treating the animals herself. She even treated this lady's neighbor's cat! Plus, Val keeps me informed of the contacts. Hart has paid for all. Val responded immediately when I first called about my friend in need. Excellent!!!

This group is all volunteer and all about the rabbits. I donated as part of fundraiser when 46 rabbits were confiscated by the city of Sacramento in June 2013. I volunteered to help care for the rabbits and saw that my donations were going straight to their care.

My husband and I moved to Sacramento in 2008 and we were overwhelmed by the number of abandoned animals we encountered. As a consequence, we rescued several dogs, 1 pregnant cat, and 1 mother cat and her three kittens, all within a year living in Sacramento. I learned of Sakrescue and contacted them. Sakrescue was able to find foster parents and forever homes for all of the animals we were unable to place in homes. Sakrescue treated my family (including the fur babies we were fostering) with the utmost dignity and respect. Sakresuce volunteer Cherie went out of her way to help and I will always be grateful.

I am very impressed with this Rescue group and the overall health and happiness of their foster pets. They take extremely great care of the animals and are very committed to fostering, adoptions, educating and supporting their community.

Money collected at Project Eagle Lake trout function is being spent on other things besides Eagle Lake. Have not been happy with the way they have done things at this fundraiser.
