I had an amazing time at Panther Ridge Conservation Center! The tour was so much fun, and it was awesome seeing the animals up close and watching how they interact with their keepers. Scarlet the leopard was my favorite, the way she interacted during the tour was so fun and exciting to see.

This is one of the few true reptile non profits that is willing to provide advice and medical care for reptiles whether a pet or wild. We do ask for donations rarely but very few people donate to reptiles. We are a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to studying reptile diseases and husbandry methods. Medical knowledge about reptiles is very limited and most veterinarians have very little formal educational training with reptiles. Reptiles metabolize drugs and medications very differently than mammals resulting in vets killing many of them because of their lack of knowledge. Much more research needs to be done to improve the lives of reptiles and provide proper medical care. That is a goal we work towards. Reptiles can make good companion animals, some are quite intelligent and some are actually affectionate with their owners.

Very caring organization. They contribute to animal welfare in many ways. They help to foster homeless dogs, get animals adopted into loving homes, and search for missing animals, providing a resource for many in the western Palm Beach County communities.

I would have supported this organization but I was misinformed by the staff. I applied for a dog and was told it was already sold. I would suggest updating your customers prior to them re arranging their schedule.

I started undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia in July, dealing with a number of new threats, obstacles, and challenges. Fortunately, in late August the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach sent me an email entitled, “Horses for Veterans-Equine Therapy.” <br><br>I immediately sensed that this program could address my newfound feelings of isolation and disconnect caused by my medical treatments and recovery. At the same time, I had an almost equally powerful anxiety; a resistance to seeking help. <br><br>But I made the call. And I’m super-happy that I did. <br><br>On my first day in Equine Therapy I was especially pleased with the instructors’ deliberate pace. I have limited experience around horses. <br><br>The highlight of that first day was working with a pony named Robin Hood. Robin exhibited inexhaustible patience as he endured my rookie attempts at basic grooming. I formed a strong bond with him in 10-15 minutes. <br><br>In fact, the most remarkable part of this program is just how quickly the horses bond with the Veterans. <br><br>The subsequent eight sessions have seen a rapid acceleration in both my confidence in communicating with the group (6 Veterans, 3 Facilitators) and in working with the horses. When I started this program I had a somewhat strong fear of horses. I’m surprised and pleased to report that I’ve never felt any trepidation about the horses at Vinceramos. I adore every one of them. <br><br>After every session my Veteran's group frequently remarks how astonished we are at how well we did working with the horses; how much we’ve learned-about ourselves, about other members of the group, and, of course, about “our” horses. Our collective trust has increased. Our confidence has grown. <br><br>“Trust.” As herd animals horses seem to be constantly communicating, “Are we all together...?” Veterans relate strongly to this. It is awe inspiring how quickly we bond with a horse, in many cases with animals we’ve never met. In a matter of minutes were welcomed into “the herd.” This must be seen to be believed. By focusing our energies and building our skills at a deliberate pace, we earn the horses’ trust. <br><br>In sum, after a ninety minute session with this Veteran’s group, these instructors, these horses, I feel increasingly confident, more relaxed. An amazing place. The team who run RSCF are beyond dedicated. Decisions and conservation strategies are based on best practice and data. Not a penny is wasted and they are making a real impact with their work.

Where does someone begin with an organization/Rescue who has given it their all for so many years? From 5 acres to what they have now (30-40 acres). I am not good at spelling <br>Anyway, how they utilized the 5 acres was amazing. Rotating horses turn out day in night out etc. <br>Horses Have always been taken care of beyond a doubt.<br>I have been volenteering here for many many years and see the day to day effort from this rescue. God bless them and all that makes it happen

Let's Peace It Together - Visiting Therapeutic Miniature Horses 501(C3 Charitable Organization was est. in 1997. We provide our service to children & adults throughout South Florida in Hospice, Hospitals, and other medical facilities. We also provide our service to special needs children in schools, deaf, blind, and autistic children. The service we provide is unique form of hippo therapy with the use of miniature horses. Over the past decade we have provided our service to 1000's of children and adults recovering from serious illness, and to the terminally ill.
