Amber works extremely hard to help find rescue dogs new homes. I have never seen the hard work & dedication that she has!

Very caring organization. They contribute to animal welfare in many ways. They help to foster homeless dogs, get animals adopted into loving homes, and search for missing animals, providing a resource for many in the western Palm Beach County communities.

Great Nonprofits review instructions: "If you comment about individual staff members ... do not post their full name or other personal details." Wouldn't be able to regardless, never heard a word from AAO. I was excited to finally find a beautiful dog whose temperament and lifestyle description matched mine, and inquire about a few others. No one ever answered the application, phone, or voicemail... over a week of total silence, followed by a Facebook update showing that the dog has been adopted. The animal side of this organization is clearly doing wonderful rescue and rehab, but the people side is unprofessional (which can't be in the animals' best interest, either). There is a second beautiful dog I was interested in, but I won’t be trying here again and anyway it's moot since there's no response. AAO, take the good advice from another disappointed applicant on here: "At least take the time to tell people an application is being reviewed."

I met Amber at an adoption event as well as a dog whom we eventually adopted. I applied on the website, received a prompt response, went to the rescue and adopted. We are so happy with the new addition to our family. Recommend to anyone looking to adopt a new family member

After losing our 12 year old Chihuahua due to Congested Heart Failure in August 2018 my partner and I decided that we were ready to expand our family again. I researched, read online reviews and the history of Amber’s Animal Outreach and became excited for the possibility of adopting one, maybe two puppies from Ambers Animal Outreach. That same excitement quickly turned into disappointment. I first reached out to Animals Outreach via email; inquiring about two puppies. I received a generic response back the same evening that did not answer my questions. I immediately responded back asking the same questions about the adoption process. Two days later, I still did not receive a response so I followed up via email. To date, I still have not received a response to my email. I tried calling the number listed on their website and on Facebook several times. Not once, did anyone answer. I sent a message on Facebook messenger, and received a very generic answer in response that did not answer my questions. I responded immediately in an attempt to get my questions answered. I followed up one last time and explained that I hadn’t been able to connect with anyone to answer my questions. The message was read but not responded to. I don’t understand the reasons behind being ignored. I would think that they would want to adopt pets to good homes as quickly as possibly therefore would respond to all incoming messages at least within 48 hours. I would have loved to work with Ambers Animal Outreach to adopt a puppy but due to their lack in responding I’ve moved on from this shelter.

In response to kelly173's reply, yes you did. Prince- a Dutch shep mix. The woman on the phone was extremely rude. Then a second time I inquired about a dog there and had no response for a week. I finally called and had to leave a message before I got a response stating there were many applications on the dog (which could've easily been done after the application was sent) and then five minutes later a Facebook post of the dog with his new family. I'm really sorry but your organization is poorly run. You need better communication with your applicants. I won't be recommending this rescue to anyone. I understand you are busy but when people are inquiring about an animal you continually post is up for adoption and then you don't respond for a week it's just poor business. At least take the time to tell people an application is being reviewed.

Very impressive young lady and Family, works to find homes for dogs in our area. Takes the pups to adoption events, uses facebook to spread the word about them and takes them to the beach to run and play and just enjoy.

If I could give zero stars I would. What Amver is doing is fantastic but who ever is answering phone calls for the adoption process was extremely rude. I called about a shepherd puppy I saw on the website and when she answered she acted like she had no idea why any one would be bothering her about an adoption. She was very rude and even annoyed during the entire conversation. I most def will not be recommending this rescue to anyone. Sorry but get a more friendly adoption agent, first impressions last a lifetime.

So sorry to hear of your experience. You must have Ambers Animal Outreach mixed up with another rescue as they have never had a shep. puppy. Hope you found what you were looking for .

I met Amber when she was only 10 years old and already knew then like many others that she had a calling to rescue, and with the help of her best supporter and like minded Mom Kelly they worked extremely hard with other rescues dedicating every day to helping save the lives of homeless dogs and with their compassion Amber's Animal Outreach was founded. A wonderful 501c non-profit rescue changing the lives of those who have no voice.
Amber is our next generation and will set example to many the importance of adoption by education who will follow her lead in helping to save so many more lives .
We look forward to the woman in rescue that she will become

Wonderful non-profit organization started by a young woman with a huge compassionate love for all dogs. Amber is amazing in her drive and ambition and she truly loves all of man's (and woman's for that matter) best friends. The size of her heart is only surpassed by her amazing talent for helping God's creatures (be they large or small) finding their 'fur-ever' homes!

Such an honor to be able to assist this organization that started because a Mother shared her love for animals and her ethics with her daughter. This daughter, Amber took these beliefs and spent all her available time doing volunteer work with rescue organizations. By the age of 14, she felt she wanted and needed to do more to stop the senseless loss of life in the shelters due to overcrowding or the horrible choice families have to make when their loved ones need medical help but the cost is just more than they can financially handle. This is where Amber Animal Outreach steps up and rescues the dog and finds them a loving new home or helps with the money in order to allow those families to save their loved pets. They also go out at night to locate dogs that have lost their way and can't make it home. With the help of Amber, Kelly and so many others, they all find their way home or a new home that will love them and keep them safe. What a beautiful family this is (I know her Dad helps alot too) and such a blessing to see all the effort put into each and every loving pet.

The founders of this organization are so truly committed to helping out animals in desperate need. What a difference they make in the lives of so many! Hate to think of what would happen if they gave up on the meaningful work that they do.

I met Amber when she was 10 years old volunteering every single weekend to help save dogs lives and find them homes. In the last four years she has grown into such a mature young adult, and started her own organization, Ambers Animal Outreach. I have never seen such a dedicated, passionate, and caring teenager before. She goes out of her way to help dogs and continues to volunteer to help the local shelter as well. Ambers Animal Outreach is a wonderful non profit dog rescue/ outreach that has already changed the lives of many dogs who needed it the most. I love being able to foster and help out at events with them!!!
