Patient Advocate Foundation is an incredible organization. We’ve heard firsthand impact stories from people whose lives were changed by their support, and it’s clear how deeply committed they are to helping patients navigate challenging healthcare situations. We’ve even recommended PAF to loved ones who suddenly found themselves in need of an advocate — and the guidance they received made a meaningful difference. I’m grateful for the work PAF does and highly recommend them to anyone seeking compassionate, knowledgeable assistance.

Lend a Secondhand has Blessed so many children and families in need. Many times families are referred to me because the children are in foster situations,hardship in the home,or just unable to provide. There has never been a time that Lend A Secondhand didn't step up to assist. Few organizations exist that help with a loving heart and wanting nothing in return. God Bless them to continue his purpose.

I am a volunteer at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village and I enjoy volunteering at Sunshine its fun and love seeing the kids and their smiles.

Autism Cares Foundation supports people with Autism and other IDDs through the various activities they offer, around 200 per year. They operate an Adult Day program, Home and Community program, Personal Enrichment Programs, Parent informational seminars, age appropriate activities (around 200 annually) and so much more. <br>They are truly the best of the best in Bucks County, PA and the surrounding areas. Parents and care-providers view these offerings as vital to the development, success and well being of the person they provide care to.

Ga Food has a free food pantry 2 days a week that helps feed the community.

The experience of dealing with children hands on has been challenging but worth every second seeing the excitement in the children eyes after learning new hobbies and trades also seeing the joy that the youth events bring is priceless!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESCUE!! I did a foster to adopt situation so the adoption was not finalized. I had very bad experience with the foster. She had asked to call her if there was a problem in doing so she (Sharon) asked to to omit on the surrender form that this dog had bitten me twice the second day in my home. I reluctantly did so but sent an e-mail the next day I returned her to this foster (who also has 4 other dogs in her home that were failed adoptions). The message to the rescue was to inform them about the fact this dog did bite me and it should have been put on the form but let them know that Sharon asked me to omit it and I did not feel comfortable not telling all of the truth. This dog was also in horrible condition due to not being taken to be groomed and cleaned up for a very long time. I feel it was very unprofessional for them to have forwarded that message to the foster. She (Sharon) then starting sending me nasty and insulting text messages which I feel was highly unprofessional. The rescue did nothing about it and chose to believe the lame excuses she gave them for my returning the dog instead of the fact that I had told them the full truth. I was aware that this dog has issues with snapping but was not a problem for me since I have 22 years experience and had adopted a dog like her previously; I had no problem retraining that dog but she had never bitten me. I am still in shock to find the very next day this same dog was back up for adoption again. I never believed in buying dogs from breeders but after this awful experience I would not try to ever adopt again. This is a horrible rescue and the volunteers are awful to deal with in any situation with them. I highly recommend before adopting from any rescue that you really research them and read their reviews thoroughly. Very, very disappointed!

The King Me Foundation uses their platform to perform many acts of kindness within the community. I’ve personally been able to work alongside this foundation during two local events and the information and resources they provided were essential to the public. I hope to work with The King Me Foundation in the near future.

I have been an assistant to Mrs. WIlliams with Kidadah since 2011. I have assisted with the “Mother and Daughter” breakfast tea party, Father and Daughter Gala, and the community groups that are formed in the schools to mentor these girls into believing in themselves, how to have self esteem, self confidence, self control, and helping them to exploit their God given talents.

I really didn't want to give a one rating.More like a minis 20.As I imagined ,when I realized my Remax realtor ripped me off by not passing the 13000 discount that the homeowners had allowed,reducing the price of.the house,I find out the Peninsula Realtors Ass. had the theifs back.They dismissedy claim.They don't care if some realtor rippede off..Why do they care.Its part of the industry there days isn't it????Don't deal with these people,Jack Miller or Remax.Buy from owners!!!!

HealthLink Dental Clinic is an extraordinary non-profit that improves the oral health of others and promotes wellness for the entire county. From the staff to the service, they offer nothing but quality, compassionate care to all patients and their families. I had the pleasure of volunteering with them and was able to witness firsthand the change they are making through all of their efforts both in and out of their clinic. Thank you for all that you do!

I have been associated with this organization for 5+years, they really came thru to help me when times were rough-I was raising my grandchildren on a fixed income and then I was struck down with another debilitating illness. Thanks to them we always had something to eat, or without basic needs such as hygenic needs and staples. I will not be able to ever thank them enough!

Barrett-Peake Heritage Foundation is a non profit organization located in Hampton, VA. As President of Hampton Roads Branch of The Association For The Study of African American Life and History, I am very happy that this foundation is working to ensure that the history of these outstanding individuals will continue to be told in a way that will benefit not only the local communities but through out the country. The foundation is aggressively renovating the historic Federation house, creating an archival space, museum first floor period space of furniture and artifacts from the organization's work during the greater 20th century, and a second floor of meeting rooms for youth development, tutoring, etiquette courses, etc. Efforts like this will ensure the story of African American history will have a legacy.

We are blessed EVERYTIME, we come into this place! The prices are amazing and furthermore the food is fresh. We need more places like the vineyard in the community. We can't say enough good things about this place!

In August I met a Veteran named Jamen Manior who turned his family house into a Non-profit for at-risk youth in Hampton Virginia. I was a full-time Youth Development Coordinator for Alternative Inc. This man sacrifice inspired me to want to help youth in more of a direct support manner. I left a full time job with full benefits and decided to support his mission as Vice presidents of a grass-root organization that had no income. I took a chance on faith, community and grace without a guarantee salary. In two months I have started a before and after school care program, got my foster care licenses and submitted my paperwork to be a licensee family care provider. I still work part time but the reward that comes from this nonprofit work does not always have a monetary value. I have dedicated my life to being a resource for young people, families, and community partners. I have joined other service organization like the Khawanias, The Do Gooders of Hampton and volunteer when needed for The Center for Child and Family services. I have attached two video's about Jamen and myself that the News took time to highlight about community leaders. I have been a coach for the Hampton Roads Vipers Cheer and Dance for about 4 or 5 years. They are located at Spratley Middle School in HAmpton,VA. I love the organization, the kids, and the coaches that come out every year. This organization is great for children that never have cheered or danced before, and the children who want to compete and perfect their skills.

Study-Right Coaching helped my son who is an athlete. Theyworked with him on a month to month basis on areas that would help him succeed acadmically, personally, in the workforce - just an overall success program. they also help us with his Core GPA work up

I am honored to be part of the NAFB. I am a volunteer and I enjoy spending alot of time there. We try to help many people in our area and you see so many appreciative families and it especially is great when you see the children smile. Every volunteer works very hard to keep things moving and our community donates alot of food to us. But there are always more and more clients so the food goes out as fast as it comes in. <br>Helping people is certainly the motto at our food bank and we always try to improve so we are always there for those who need us.
