Mission: THE MISSION OF THE HANSEN FAMILY HOSPITAL FOUNDATION IS TO FOSTER CHARITABLE PARTNERSHIPS THAT ENHANCE HEALTHCARE FOR THOSE WE HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO SERVE
Programs: To receive contributions, gifts, and grants and disburse funds for the welfare and improvement of ellsworth municipal hospital. Ellsworth municipal hospital foundation assists and promotes wellness, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of sick, afflicted and injured, in hardin county and the area served by ellsworth municipal hospital. In 2013 ellsworth municipal hospitals focus was still the new building project. Memorial gifts, proceeds from events, and a $25,000 grant from the hardin county community endowment fund were used to cover construction, architectural, legal, and engineering services related to the project. Other purchases made during the year, with donor-restricted gifts, were a portable x-ray machine, a surgical bed, and educational events and support items for parents-to-be at the quarterly ob open houses. Funds were also distributed to the school nurse's funds in hardin county, as well as $7,000. 00 given to hardin county from a grant received for the code red emergency notification system.
