I would give this nonprofit 0 stars. Seem to be scammers who maybe use 15% of the money for social services and the rest for the guys up top. Extremely predatory tactics for donation. Like many others, I was unknowingly signed up for a reoccurring transaction for the childhood help line and had to cancel my bank card. Seems like this practice is encouraged or they would have amended this by now.

Our school was thrilled to be selected to receive a worm bin for our TK program from Let's Go Compost. The sleek, compact design made it perfect for keeping right in the classroom, and it was very easy to assemble. The included coco coir provided excellent bedding for the worms, and the coupon for the worms themselves was such a thoughtful and welcome addition. When we first introduced the worm bin and worms to the students, a few children initially responded with “Yuck!” However, by the end of the lesson — after observing the worms up close and learning about their important role in composting and soil health — the students were genuinely excited and eager to check on them. The worm bin has already become a wonderful hands-on learning tool that encourages curiosity, responsibility, and environmental stewardship in our classroom.

UAF is an absolutely exceptional organization. Every single staff member is not only highly knowledgeable, but genuinely compassionate and committed to helping—no matter the situation. Their level of care, professionalism, and understanding truly sets them apart. As a TNR trapper, it is critical for me to work with a clinic that supports spay/abort procedures for feral cats. This is one of the most effective and humane ways to break the cycle of overpopulation and prevent generations of suffering. UAF consistently provides this service with skill, respect, and zero judgment—something that is incredibly rare and deeply appreciated in this line of work. They have also been a reliable lifeline when it comes to taking in abandoned and surrendered animals. As a rescuer, finding a safe, responsible place for these animals—often with nowhere else to go—is everything. UAF has never let me down. They step in when it matters most and ensure these animals have a chance at better future!

As a Board member, I enjoy knowing that our organization is impacting our community in multiple ways with our programs. It is great to see our Members enjoying their AmeriCorps terms while they are contributing to the conservation and environmental protection. We create employable youth and complete meaningful service projects.

Sherry, Matt, Marie, and the whole team at the Prescott Chamber of Commerce are great! They run great events to network and connect with other local business leaders, they provide a ton of resources for my business, and they provide the database of local businesses to find a service I might need. Not to mention hosting the visitor center. I definitely recommend joining the Chamber if you are a local business in Prescott.

The passion and mission of this nonprofit is just incredible! Creating an environment where critically and terminally ill kiddos (and their siblings) get to be superheroes for the day is such a beautiful experience to witness. I went to yavapai humane society on March first to adopt two dogs after driving fifty miles to get these dogs . Upon arrival I was told I could not see the animals I came to adopt I knew what dogs I wanted. I was told I need a appointment even though there were no people waiting and one car in the parking lot. These people don't care about the dogs just about time. I would never suggest to anyone to adopt a pet there. There lack of Concern was disgusting they offered a appointment to get the dogs four days later in the afternoon not convenient due to the drive of fifty miles. The humane society cares nothing about the animals but time and appointment Mattered again I don't recommend the agency to anyone . There are more accomodations but other agencies that do care about the dog and the adoption parents and getting a home for the dogs just appointment and money very disheartening organization find another agency that cares

I was involved with this Foundation for 16 years and was always impressed by its devotion to the hospital and its employees. Their dedication helped to provide invaluable services to the community through the Breast Care Center, Pendleton Center, James Family Heart Center, Partners for Healthy Students program, and more. As a rural community, this was extremely important. Their goal was to enable residents to stay in our community for medical services vs traveling 2 hrs for much-needed care. If you are ever looking for a worthy cause, the YRMC Foundation is just that. Caring, supportive and good stewards of your consideration.

This is a fake public charity that has done no charity work since gaining tax exempt status in 1999. The word 'level' is deliberately misspelled as 'leval' in the name of this fake charity. The IRS has corrected this deliberate 'mistake'. This organization is allegedly a 'church' per the org's tax returns. This 'church' has two members, a married couple, and according to the Arizona Corporation Commission The Evolutionary Level Above Human Foundation, Inc. has a 'Known Place Of Business' at the Messner-Reeves Law Firm in Phoenix. The married couple has created an apparent trust entity with the same name as this Arizona Nonprofit Corporation and according to Duns the corporation is 'out of business' and has done '0#x27; in sales volume while the unregistered trust entity with the same name is 'Active' and did '49k' in 'sales volume'. The married couple are the sole two Officers/Directors of this 'public charity' that has solely been used to file lawsuits as they have fraudulently claimed that the charity owns all of the intellectual property created by the Heaven's Gate group.

Adama and Chrissy are the hardest working people I've ever met in my life. I've honestly never seen two more passionate and dedicated people - saving dogs is their entire life. They are also very involved in the community and often help other rescues with food and equipment and literally anything they need but are rarely even given so much as a thank you. And yet, they don't even complain about it. They just continue helping because that's the kind of people they are. I am proud to know them both. The only issue I truly see is that they really need more support. I can't even imagine what they could accomplish if they were properly funded.

I've had the honor and pleasure to accompany the Tender Little Hearts Mini Tales horses and donkeys to literacy promotion events for the past five years, and as a retired elementary reading specialist, I can't say enough about the positive impact this organization is having encouraging children to read! The Tender Little Hearts Minis are welcomed into schools for special reading programs and as a reward for students who have met personal reading goals. They are regulars at public libraries where children return month after month to share their newest favorite book with a mini horse. They attend community family events which provide a wonderful opportunity to pass out free books, activity books, bookmarks, and stickers while introducing parents to the reading resources available on the website. Everything this nonprofit does is first class and always focused on spreading positive literacy experiences through the quiet companionship of these amazing little equines.

This unique one of a kind non profit called United States Marshals Posse is now approaching 35 Years of Community service helping support Law enforcement families and equally important being a representative and go between performing outreaches to younger impressional kids by co hosting shop with the cops, holiday parties, school supply donations to most at risk areas in the Phoenix Community. It is presently the only charitable organization linked to and in support of the District of Arizona (United States Marshals Service U.S. federal law enforcement agency celebrating 235 Year Anniversary this Year. <br>This Honor bestowed upon USMP and its very existence is a direct result of newly retired head of the US Marshal Service, District of Arizona Mr David P Gonzales.<br>He worked tirelessly to get the approval from Washington and to this day there are a few States still trying to form but to this date it remains the only one in the United States. Summertime Outreach<br>(An Instructor’s Observations)<br><br> On a quick visit to the AZ Youth Leadership Conference (AZYLC), darkness ensued and silence filled the room as the conference room doors slowly closed at the center. So ended another annual youth conference. Scattered was the collective spirit and young intellectual energy of selected high school students from across the Military Order of the World War’s (MOWW) Department of Arizona.<br><br> Days earlier these same high schoolers came together from Arizona communities gathering at the Glendale Campus of Arizona State University. They formed themselves into a class. Unpredictable was the outcome this experience would have on each delegate. All that was required of the delegates was a positive attitude and open-mindedness.<br><br> For sure was the guarantee that by participating, each would depart with a better understanding of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution with its first ten amendments, a pinch of early American history, the Bill of Responsibilities, and basic values of leadership. They learned that effective citizenship is necessary in the awesomeness of a democracy. Many made new friends — perhaps lifetime bonds generated from the learning experiences of the conference while others were encouraged that greater experiences are yet to come. All were enriched by skillfully managed indoor classes and planned outdoor patriotic activities.<br><br> The three and half day schedule left no idle time. Up at 0600 and lights out at 2230, delegates were quickly assigned into six groups for team building exercises and classroom instruction crammed with practical exercises. On the final conference day, attention was directed at wrapping up details that included an awards luncheon before departure for home.<br><br> As for me, my short AZYLC experience was an emotional one, fulfilling a desire to help the next generation appreciate freedom. I witnessed firsthand the wonderful MOWW outreach that was executed by very dedicated and serious patriotic minded companions. Gary Beverly, the Chair and deceased board member, Gordon Bond have been our valuable consultants to Prescott Valley, AZ activists for more than 2 years. They have encouraged developers and town council members and the town manager to make water conservation plans to balance our water supply. The town is considering a draft ordinance requiring future rental developments to secure water rights which were not required under the Arizona Water Loophole Law. <br>CWAG continues to provide our region with water education programs, focusing on the preservation of the oldest perennial river (Verde River) in Arizona. They invite water management guest speakers to their programs. They publish articles in newspapers, write a weekly newsletter, and meet with regional managers and state leaders

MASK (Mothers Awareness of School-Aged Kids) is a nonprofit that deals with students, parents and community that is second-to-none. MASK helps children learn invaluable life skills for how to cope with a number of issues including responding to peer pressure, dealing with trauma and technology-related challenges. As a former Law Enforcement Officer and Educator, it is vital to have MASK in our school districts. The Organization was created in 2007 by a group of dedicated mothers who recognized the need to consistently educate families on rapidly changing issues. I started as a volunteer at Camelot over 10 years ago and was so inspired by the work they do, that I joined the board of directors. It's a small program that has a large impact on improving the lives of people who have a disability. A life-changing experience.

I had known Cindy and Bill as my neighbors, but I had no idea how wonderful the Sanctuary was, right in our backyard. Cindy’s mother, Bonnie told me about the dogs, and my husband and I couldn’t wait to volunteer. What an amazing place. All of the dogs live in the main house. No cages, and there are 6 acres for the dogs to roam. Homemade meals with supplements for each dog, and hydrotherapy is provided. Most of these dogs were hours away from euthanasia, and are so appreciative of their new surroundings. We are so happy to be volunteers.

In 2016 I met a guy with a Boston Terrier and fell in love, with the guy and with the dog. Frank had rescued Lilly from Arizona Boston Terrier rescue years before we met, and she was my first experience with a dog. She was the cutest most cuddly little Boston girl, and just the sweetest girl you’ve ever met. I had the privilege to be in Lilly’s life and love her for a year and a half before she passed. <br>During this time I got to see her unmatched, unconditional love for Frank, and his endless love for her. Lilly taught me what it is to love a dog and be loved by a dog. <br>Some time after Lilly’s passing, ABTR had a 2 year old girl that needed a foster. We were still healing from losing Lilly, but decided to foster. Little did I know that this little girl was going to steal my heart. From the moment she got to our home, she ran into the house with the ball in her mouth and acted immediately as if she was home, as if she had always been with us. She was playful, energetic and cute as a button. Even though she was supposed to just be a foster, I knew that she was going to stay with us. Ruby was the tiniest little muscle powerhouse. She was tough and sweet, picky with other dogs but loved her humans, and boy oh boy did she love food. She was the most beautiful little red Bostie girl, with the most wonderful and spunky personality, and my best friend. We lost Ruby on July 31st to brain cancer, and we miss her every moment of every day. <br>Thanks to AZBTR, we got love and spoil our Ruby for a wonderful six and a half years, even though forever wouldn’t have been enough. <br>AZBTR is a wonderful rescue organization, run by the most amazing volunteers. These hoomans work tirelessly and go above and beyond for the dogs. The people of AZBTR truly do the right thing by the dogs. We have rescued and fostered with them, and have had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend supporting Arizona Boston Terrier Rescue, so please consider donating, fostering and adopting.

NAZCARE is an amazing agency, the services provided to the clients are well rounded and the staff provide empathy and compassion.

My 4 African American children were denied scholarship because of our economic situation (they wanted proof that our family was denied DES childcare assistance). Which makes no sense since this is indeed a scholarship program for less fortunate. <br><br>I presented to the committee; 2 principal award and 2 honor roll certificate . In which they have been awarded this certificate there entire life. It has become so difficult for my children to receive scholarships in the state of Arizona. However, if I was on drugs or my children were awarded to the state this wouldn’t be a issue. I have and will be a advocate for my children.
