It was the third project I had the pleasure to support at Bepeace, after Rodim and Siento it was now program aimed at supporting family companies in Salvador and Honduras. I. have quite some experience with this type of companies since Rodim and Siento are family owned and my work experience for several decades has also been focused in multi-generation family enterprises. I was supported by Debora from Bepeace, she did an extraordinary job, organizing, commenting, explaining, clarifying and I would like to thank her from my heart. She managed the infrastructure prepared by Bepeace to help us arrive at learning experiences not only for the four leaders who participated but also for me. Once again I am happy to have participated and hope to have contributed positively to the participants.

I have volunteered and donate also. I have been involved with various non-profits, including serving in boards, volunteering and paid staff. So I am picky about ethics, transparency, policies and sustainability. I would not be donating to Red Feather unless I trusted in how they spend and allocate money and the work. They balance great passion with the actual dirty work it takes to run such a sanctuary. I have seen them grow and learn when new policies or procedures need to be in place to handle the new growth. Additionally, they care about the growth and connection of their volunteers. I know that my money and time is well spent with Red Feather.

I , FELICIA GLASS IS GOING THROUGH A STRUGGLE SINCE MARCH THE 25TH OF 2024-25 AND NO CARE OF THE ACCUSATIONS THAT I'M DEALING WITH MENTALLY AND MEDICALLY DISABLED. IT'S BEEN A DOWN FALL WITH ME ACTUALLY WHEN I WAS CHARGE AND CONVICTED IN THE YEAR OF 2008 WRONGFULLY CONVICTED CHARGE THAT IT WASN'T MY FAULT. LONG STORY SHORT , I'VE BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON AND WAS SENT TO A TRANSITION HOUSING TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE HOUSE DUE TO I'M MENTALLY ENSTABLED TO LIVE THERE AND SHE DEALS WITH INDEPENDENCE PEOPLE WHO ALWAYS WORK. EVERY SINCE I'VE BEEN THROUGH THAT , I'VE BEEN IN AND OUT OF RESIDENTS AND SHELTERS AND PUT OUT IN THE STREETS AS OF RIGHT NOW . IN GOD HEAVENLY SAINT , PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH GOOD HOMEGROWN PEOPLE THAT KNOWS HOW TO LIVE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION AND KNOWS HOW TO HAVE WITHOUT AND KNOWS HOW TO HAVE AS WELL. THE ONLY THING THAT STILL STANDING IS MY SECTION I'VE FOR HOUSING , EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOING DOWN FALL . I'M SERVERELY STRUGGLING WITH SOME ISSUES WITH A CRUTCH AND A SPLINT ON MY ANKLE AND I CAN'T MOVE AROUND TOO MUCH AS OF NOW .SOMEONE HAS FELL RIGHT ON MY ANKLE ON THE CONCRETE OUTSIDE OF THE RESIDENTS AFTER IT'S BEEN SPRUNG .NOW I'M REALLY STRUGGLING WITHOUT ANY CAUSE. PLEASE RESPOND TO ME AND I'VE BEEN NEGLECTED FROM THE PEOPLE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE CARING FOR ME AND YES ! I NEED A BELIVER IN MY FAVOR AND I THANK YOU FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND GOD BLESS YOU .

Mr. Bazemore and his staff at Experiment in Self-Reliance are truly dedicated to supporting the community and helping people survive and thrive through the tough conditions of poverty. I support their mission and I am grateful for their help in being a voice for people with out one.

Shereen catered our family spring birthday gathering in March. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship. It was a joy introducing her to our family. I would recommend her food and catering to anyone. <br><br>Sam Matthews

Through my network, I met the Sherry, their Executive Director. We had an exchange via LinkedIn, and discussed the organizations' perspective. Food insecurity is real and scary for millions of people in America (far more than I can comprehend). Nutrition is crucial all throughout life, and malnutrition has long-term odd-ball impact. For Our Common Good is doing great outreach; I'm looking forward to seeing their work evolve.

I felt the Lord leading me to WSRM to minister in a capacity that would allow me to use my education and training, along with my faith and prior ministry experience to reach out to those in need of the power of The Lord Jesus' Grace. I was hired as a case manager for the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission in Jan. 2022. I am thankful that I have been afforded the opportunity to share my Faith and life experience with others who are in need as I once was. Praise The Lord.

I’m sorry to deliver such disappointing news. Please pray hard and think twice about donating to this Ronald McDonald house. It needs to be investigated on their so called requirements to assist those in need. My granddaughter who is 7 years old was in a house for a few days ago. She’s currently still in the hospital on Christmas Day!! I reached out to them for assistance and was turned down!! How can anyone have the nerve to turn anyone away who is in need but most of all using donations!! The money is not even theirs to decide!! I’m so hurt and sad that this happened but I want everyone to be aware of this organization who claims to help but does do at their own discretion!! I call it discrimination!! It’s sad but true!!

WAA has given me a way to express my passion for activism!!

Center for Smart Financial Choices has transformed our students lives as it pertains to money. Students have gained skills preparing them for the real world of budgeting and spending money. They realize that making money doesn't mean recklessly spending. Wise counsel is critical as decisions around money is made. The wise conusel of CFSFC respresentatives helped our students understand how money works and why it is essential to know when, why, and how to spend the money you make. Thank you CFSFC for your continued work of preparing our students for a success life.

The Legacy Foundation for Women is a philanthropic women's foundation that empowers, celebrates, and invests in the lives of women and girls of color through scholarships and education, award recognition, health development projects, humanitarian efforts, and mentor programs. <br><br>

If I could give this foundation a ZERO star I would! Don't even bother wasting your time. They have in their history that they started with only $1000.00 and have now grown to $500,000,000.00! You know how they grew? They boasted and boasted that they would help members in the Triad area. Bullocks! They KEEP the money and "keep growing." They don't REALLY grant grants. They have a facade that they do. They give grants to people with established revenues. What about organizations that could use some help, as they once did? They faked their way into being in top 40 foundations in the U.S. ...disappointed! Donors, stop donating and donate to organizations that are really trying to make a difference.

I have not personally worked with them, but have witnessed them essentially help rebuild an entire community after natural disasters. To watch under-insured individuals and families have their homes rebuilt for what the families could pay is amazing. Everyone I know is satisfied with the home they were built by this organization.

This organization works endlessly to support youth and young adults in recognizing and achieving their potential as it also works to aid the leadership skills they have. Wonderful organization

This organization is really and truly a group who's actions are honestly heartfelt towards America's Veterans and their family's needs. You'd be hard pressed to find a civilian woman more involved and dedicated on many levels honoring Veterans of all military services than Ms Ciat Shabazz who is the executive director of HARRY. This is the most tenacious non-profit Veterans organization pressing forward for REAL comprehensive change for Veterans, that I've ever seen and I've seen quite a few.

My children and I was made homeless due to the City's water main busting causing the foundation to become unstable. We stayed at the Homeless shelter for almost a year. Then re-housed in a condo where North Carolina Housing Foundation is the landlord. The landlord took me to court and had a money judgement put against me. Refused payment form an agency and went forward to have my children and I evicted. Homeless again. As long as funds can be obtained through resources that last on your behalf. This landlord could care less about helping turn the Homeless and At Risk population in to contributing residence. Take in Homeless and At Risk only to gain funding. Once that is done they throw you back to the streets. Children they do not even care about it how it will affect them.

In 2015 my husband and therefore the whole family was faced with an unexpected life threatening brain aneurysm. In the course of dealing with all that is attendant with an unexpected emergency of gigantic proportions, Wake Forest Baptist Hospital pointed us to the SECU house for lodging since we didn't have any idea how long we would an hour away from our home.<br>I can't say enough wonderful things about the SECU house!! The people there were very kind and attentive. I believe the people with whom I was in contact are called to the job, because they must deal with very upset people, most of whom are also away from home. <br>The facility is beautiful and practically arranged. The community provided meals were a Godsend and the availability of the wonderful kitchen, the sitting rooms, the computers, the chapel and the library were wonderful amenities. I think of it as a cross between a great hotel and a huge home! Also, the availability of the shuttle enabled me not to have to keep a car there when I was unfamiliar with the area and upset as well. I can't say enough about the blessing these people and this facility was to me and my family. I try to financially and materially support them as I can and I tell everyone I know what an excellent support this is to those under great duress. It is a wonderful place to put monies as you choose charities to support. I was there a full six weeks! It is a tremendous blessing!!

They are helping so many young ladies feel good about themselves by providing them with beautiful clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc. for FREE. That's incredible! I can't say enough great things about this organization!

FHS celebrates its 75th birthday in 2016. I have adopted 4 pets through FHS during the last 15 years, and had to say goodbye to two of them this year. <br><br>FHS has undergone about 4 transitions over their 75 years. The 2nd most significant one was when they opened their first no-kill facility in a tiny 1800 square foot building on a postage stamp of land on Miller Street in the late 80's. <br><br>Between 2005 - 2010, its second big transition began. Professional leadership was recruited to the Board, and experienced leadership was recruited to the Executive Director position. IN addition, a prominent physician and his wife provided significant financial support, and several signfiicant fundraising efforts (Art Unleashed and the Annual Furrball Gala) provided annual working capital and a much broader base of public support. They also became much more active with outreach programs: partnering with the county jail rehabilitating both prisoners and dogs with a program called "new leash on life". They distribute pet food to needy families in conjunction with Senior Services' "meals on wheels" programs. They have an active spay / neuter program where they underwrite spay / neutering for needy families.<br><br>The 2nd transition I referenced that started in the mid 2000's culminated in a successful capital campaign that raised $3.8 million in order to purchase and renovate a new facility. They bought a former seafood restaurant on Country Club road and are renovating it inside and out. This will finally give them parking spaces they've never had, room for dogs to exercise and play outside, acceptable office space for staff and collaborative meeting space to be used in conjunction with other partner non-profits.<br><br>The FHS is rocking.

I have been to this Church and Had a awesome experience. The powerful message delivered from Bishop Nancetta Myers was life changing. They are no longer located at that location. I know they are looking to raise funds for another place of worship. The only number I have associated with this ministry is 336-983-0384.

Was repeatedly promised a donation receipt and photos of my donations of furniture, household goods, etc, but they never delivered.

I have been familiar with Kybele since October 2007 when I met Dr. Medge Owen through a colleague. I have had the opportunity to assist the organization and to meet many of the physicians and volunteers who travel to program countries. Dr. Owen runs her organization with efficiency and utilizes every precious dollar to the best of her ability. I have seen Kybele steadily grow over the years with increased donors, volunteers, grant awards, published research, and international recognition. This is a small organization that works on the international stage and is making an impact on the lives of women and children in several developing countries. I am proud to be a Kybele donor.

The group of volunteers and professionals at ACC are top notch. I haven't found higher quality care in the area of counseling in my 30 years of seeking help. I have Bipolar disorder which is a daily battle. A large part in thanks to members of this group, I became level and have remained so for over 16 years now. The Lord certainly works through them and daily blesses them for their efforts.
