I met the founder, Terry, of 4 Paws 2 Freedom about 3 years ago at a Daughter's of the American Revolution luncheon. She did a 4 Paws 2 Freedom presentation and it was astounding. <br>I am physically and emotionally disabled and hearing her story and her reasons for starting the non-profit for training Service Dogs was exactly what I needed. I became her mentor for DAR. She was joining our chapter. She sat at my table during lunch and we talked about our similarities and how a service dogs could make my life easier. <br>I needed a puppy and to discuss it with my doctor. Terry told me she'd help me make all this happen. Our DAR chapter made a donation to 4 Paws 2 Freedom and has made a donation every year since. <br>When I got home from that meeting I found I had a message from my cousin telling me her AKC Labrador had just given birth to a liter of puppies (12)! <br>I told her about my meeting and how it was a coincidence her dog had that many puppies and since it was going to be trained as a service dog she would donate 1 to me, but I had to wait 8 weeks until the pup was old enough to leave her Mom. She is a top Breeder and has a waiting list for 10 of the puppies and possibly the 11th. I was ecstatic! 3 weeks in the 12th puppy died. She told me #11 may still be available if the lady didn't make a deposit by the 4th week. Then my cousin went to England 3 weeks. I was on pins and needles for the rest of the time. On the 8th week my cousin called and said #11 was never paid for and she is mine. I was so excited. I called Terry and told her I was getting a Lab. puppy. I called and talked to my doctor and we discussed what I'd need her to do for me. We talked about my balance, back and not able to bend over. She also needed to go get thing for me including my husband! We also talked about my PTSD. <br>Terry told me she needed to be 10 weeks old before she could start school. Those were the longest weeks of my life! I was given a blue binder with the schedule of what she would be learning. I read it and thought How are we going to get her to learn all this? Her attention span was like a nano second and she is chewing everything she can get in her mouth. <br>Finally school started (2nd picture) and she didn't listen and was the class clown. I ask how long before she listens to me. Our very patient trainers laughed and told me 3 or 4 YEARS! <br>After lots of trials and errors she slowly began to respond to command words. Fast forwarding 2.5 years "Rosie" is everything I needed and more. She has made my life a Million times easier. 2 weeks ago she graduated Service Dog training and looking back at that blue binder I am amazed at how far she has come. Mr doctor says she is the best thing to happen to me. He is pleased with the progress both of us have made. <br>I owe it all to 4 Paws 2 Freedom's Terry, Amanda, Steven and of course my cousin Marcy. I don't have the words to express how grateful I am to all that have made my life easier. I will forever sing their praises. The CCHAT Center of Sacramento is more than a school or non-profit. They are a blessing to our community. They provided our profoundly deaf daughter the opportunity to learn spoken language. Additionally they provided us educational tools to help us (family) understand that assisted listening devices do not set limitations on our deaf daughter. They empowered my daughter with lifelong confidence that will carry forward to a limitless future. <br>CCHAT is our extended family. Our daughter is flourishing because of their dedication, support, and love. <br>

SPAC is beyond amazing. My little one has blossomed so much while being apart of SPAC. The support my child and I receive while navigating her musical journey has made our experience, memorable and enjoyable. The progress that she has made has surpassed any expectation that I could’ve ever had. Under Dr. Oxi’s tutelage my child’s confidence has soared! We have seen an improvement in her math skills along with how she approaches challenges. Needless to say we are grateful for SPAC and everything they have done for our family. ??????

The Copper River Watershed Project is an outstanding example to the power of conservation, scientific research, and community engagement. They actively involve local residents, indigenous communities, and stakeholders in their efforts to promote a salmon-rich, intact watershed and culturally diverse communities. Through educational programs, workshops, and community events, CRWP fosters a deep sense of ownership and stewardship among those who call this region home. This inclusive approach creates a lasting impact, enabling long-term sustainability.

WeEmbrace has many programs that helps the kids with different abilities to gain confidence,learn new things and above all stay positive and happy. <br><br>Pleasure to be a part of the team.

SDC helped me grow as a game developer and gave me the opportunity to become a leader in the Sacramento community guiding youth and adults in their game making journeys. Building their discord server and meeting countless amounts of wonderful developers was invaluable. Our community is more connected than ever, even in pandemic times. I definitely would not be the creative I am today without my time as a Board Member here and I'm sure the opportunity I had to influence locals would be similar on their own paths. The SDC community is worth your time. <br> <br>Sacramento Developer Collective provides and cultivates inclusive spaces for developer feedback, community, game jams, and education. This is the better experience my family and I got in a swimming program. This program is amazing, the instructors are dedicated, patient, punctual, and professional. My daughter got the skills and confidence they need. I recommend this program to all the kids who wants to learn to swim and to have a great time. Kids enjoy this classes. <br>Thank you Pals!

I do strongly recommend this wonderful organization spreading the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ in Pakistan and India. It started a unique program of giving free Pastor Courses and generation of workers from the houses of Muslim and Sikh communities where Gospel is needed to be preached. It opened Free Pastor Courses School in Lahore, Gujranwala, Toba Tek Singh, Khanewal and Faislabad in Pakistan and a few locations in India too but had to close all those schools due to insufficient funds. The organization needs your prayers, financial support and volunteer-ship. God bless all readers of this message.

This club has talented players(boys and girls), qualified coaches. But the board is very questionable. They would award big ticket items (website development 5K, Uniforms 75K ) contracts without calling for bids. Unless the parents of the kids elect good officers in the near future current board will run this club to the ground. If you are already part of the club, please go to board meetings to get a feel of how capable or incapable the board is.

Turning point is a wonderful resource for those affected by mental illness. I am very pleased with how they have handled a relation's illness and needs, and look forward to supporting the organization in the future!
