Mission: The purpose of friday night dancers inc. Is to preserve traditional american dance, primarily contra and square dance.
Programs: Dances are held every friday night in the historic spanish ballroom at glen echo national park in maryland, just outside of washington, dc. Local and national instructors (15), sound system operators (6), musicians (168), and callers (41) provide live instruction and music for each dance.
