I'm so proud to be a part of an organization that is positively impacting Black and Brown youth and exposing them to the wonderful world of science and technology! Scitech2u provides hands-on real-world aeronautical experiences that are comparable to some of the metropolitan Washington, DC's top private schools! I look forward to continuing with them on this; and creating and inspiring the next generation of Black and Brown scientists!

Working with this non profit has been a really great experience for me. Not only have I been able to see good being done in the community but I feel as though working along side them has also enriched me. I’m interested in pursuing a STEM career and working with SciTech2U I’m able to help with the reach this non profit has which is important because helping others my age and those younger than myself get involved in such a fantastic field is of great significance. It makes me happy to know that SciTech2U is nurturing the scientists and engineers of the future. The same ones that I hope to have the pleasure of working with.

My support for this organization is based on my knowledge of Sr. Zainab and the work she has been putting in over the years. She is a strong proponent of science education being available for all students. She has dedicated many years towards this cause and has helped many students gain a love of science.

While serving with SciTech2U, I have seen the passion of the volunteers in the program and how that passion is put into the work being done and transferred to the children being served. Students learn the fields while participating in unique, engaging activities, and it is always exciting to witness their interest and curiosity at work.

This is an excellent program. It affords students who may not have access to STEM an opportunity. This program have produced students who have gone on to pursue STEM majors in college. Many of the parents have expressed improvements academically in their children's performance. Majority of the students look forward to SciTech2U programs every week.

I designed a winter program as a youth volunteer. I think that the students had learned
a lot about soldering, constructing holograms, and making a robot hand. Overall, despite COVID-19, Sitech2U is a good TSEM program. Volunteering at Sitech2U was a great experience and getting to know how to better my self as a teacher and a leader will help me in life.

During Scitech2u, I dissected a cricket and drew a plane so far this year. I didn't really learn about much Bernoulli's principle, but I did learn some. I also made a paper airplane. A few years ago in the winter, I was a volunteer for Scitech2u and I helped children solder the motherboard for a remote control car. During brakes I played soccer with the children.

My story in Scitech2u is interesting in my opinion because I started when I was five and I thought it was fun. It was at my house with four other people. I was the youngest but I still learned a lot. Some of the stuff is still in my head so I learn until every thing is stuck in my head. The best part are the fieldtrip's. What we did was went to iFly, museum's, dissecting, parks, airports, and airplane simulators. And that is my experience.

When I was invited to serve SciTech2u as a board member, I was elated. I am so excited to be part of the momentum that I am able to witness among the kids who participate in SciTech2u programs. They are transforming into bright, motivated, and intelligent kids who are developing a keen interest in STEM fields.

My kids also enjoy the programs.
