Serving on the board of the Bloom Arts Foundation has been an incredible way to see how early music education transforms lives by boosting a child's mental well-being, social skills, and academic drive all at once. The programs at Bloom stand out because they pair high-level professional instruction with a deeply inclusive approach, making sure students from all cultural backgrounds see their own traditions reflected and celebrated. Rather than just memorising notes, these young musicians dive into the creative process, building the kind of innovative thinking and resilience that helps them navigate life’s challenges long after they leave the classroom. It is a joy to support an organisation where the focus remains entirely on the students, helping them find their voices and gain the creative confidence they need to truly thrive.

My daughter has been a member of iNfinity for 3 years now and absolutely loves everything about it. She was awarded a full scholarship for an entire year which covers her tuition, uniforms, travel expenses, hair, make up and any competition fees. This award (Henrietta G. Martin Award) is given out every year to a girl that shows up for classes on time, does her absolute best in all classes, is helpful to others when in need, has a positive attitude and on the honor roll in school. I must say that the Owners and Coaches truly care about every child that enters through their doors and treat them all like their own. They do so much volunteer work in the community and truly teach the girls so much more about life than just cheer and dance. Luna Dance has partnered with our preschool to pilot their TK dance program, and it has been a joy to see dance come alive in our school. Every week our TK aged group returns bursting with constructive energy and tales from the dance floor! The professionals at Luna have consistently provided high quality emergent dance curriculum – so much more than an enrichment class, Moriah uses developmentally-appropriate activities to introduce foundational dance concepts, and to celebrate the full range of an embodied human experience. I love Luna Dance!

The Soda Shop Movement Company's inaugural season offered a wide variety of shows, all to universal acclaim. The company plans to offer more productions as well as develop more outreach in the community, cementing Soda Shop as a pillar of movement arts in Ft. Collins in just the short time it's been around.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Los Lupeños de San José for more than a decade, and I can confidently say this organization is one of the most emblematic cultural institutions in the Bay Area. The board members and leadership are passionate, hardworking, and deeply committed to preserving and promoting Mexican culture. Los Lupeños not only produces high-quality artistic productions that highlight the richness of Mexican folklórico traditions, but also provides a safe and welcoming space for community members of all ages. The organization is widely recognized in the community for its professionalism, cultural impact, and dedication to nurturing both artistry and cultural pride. I had originally started off as a volunteer at East End and eventually found my way into an employment position here, despite not having any previous professional experience with Community Theater. Through this opportunity, I have been granted countless memories that I will forever hold fondly. In addition to that, I can recall many examples of professional development that continue to foster a driven and education-focused environment not just for staff but for those folk involved in productions from a youth to young adult level. So, I didn't know what to expect but this was the best decision we made to have our daughter try a class after school. I was thinking it might be too easy because my daughter has been dancing since she was 2. Boy was I wrong! This is not a YMCA after-school program or a dance class at your local rec center!! (not to knock those places because they are great, but Miss Laren's classes were HARD). We are super happy and hope that this wasn't just a good first day, but I think it's probably the regular for how Miss Laren operates. She is really structured and to the point, not a lot of fluff which is nice and she's sincere and super smart (she told me she's getting another degree and IDK where she gets the energy). Also, everything was super easy including signing up and purchasing everything we needed. It's also really affordable. I hope they grow because this is the structure and classes I want for our daughter.

What I love about A Step Beyond is their commitment to their staff! I've worked with them before and it is so clear how much the staff not only cares about their work, but also cares about one another. Such a strong team of talented and caring people!

My two daughters have been attending On Stage Theatrical Productions for about two years now and it’s been a wonderful experience for them both. I’ve been so impressed with how much they’ve improved in their techniques and how much their confidence have grown in the last 2 years. Not to mention, the discipline acquired through being involved in the dance company. The teachers are incredibly skilled and make every class exciting and fun for the girls. It’s a welcoming environment, from the front desk to the teachers, we couldn’t ask for a better group of people. The girls look forward to every dance class and have made so many wonderful memories through this program. We are incredibly lucky to be part of this program!

Moving in the Spirit is an Atlanta gem and a national treasure! I hope more people learn about the outstanding youth development using the power of movement happening right here in our “ backyard.” I always create such rich memories as a volunteer, whether I’m serving at the annual holiday store or one of their performances. One of a kind organization to support as a donor and volunteer; I’ve never seen it’s equal.

I'm a person of few words. What I will say about LWDA is that it more than met my expectations. What an after-school program should have, LWDA has it. How a program should be run, LWDA does it properly. I always receive timely communication and it's always thorough. My child is happy, which makes me very happy. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

During his 25 years as CDS Artistic Director, Alan Woodard was tireless in his commitment to excellence in classical ballet, his inclusiveness, and his readiness to assist all dancers, great or small. It's a pleasure to support the CDS scholarship fund in his memory, and to know that teaching and performance excellence continues at CDS. Can't wait for this year's Nutcracker!

We definitely need more organizations like this in the world!

This is the place to be! Peter DiMuro has catapulted the Dance Complex into the dance stratosphere! Everyone can find a home here and be welcomed to dance, to enjoy to be a part of this vibrant dancing community. I taught children’s classes there for years and most recently shared my love of teaching children through the not for profit Dance In The Schools in a brand new event, Fall Into Dance, I was among a myriad of amazing Boston based dance programs such as Boston Ballet, Global Arts Live, Celebrity Series of Boston, Boston Dance Alliance, The Dance Complex, The Center for Arts at the Armory, Rasik, and more. I had the chance to meet and mingle with audiences, presenters, performers, and movers alike! It was all together a lively and engaging event. It was wonderful to hear about all the dance-based opportunities coming to the city this fall and beyond.

I attended Kids Excel's 20th Anniversary celebration performance in May. I was impressed by how skilled and happy the dancers were on stage. Not only did they perform with amazing energy and precision. but the joy on their faces was so wonderful to see. Joyful hard work with an emphasis on excellence is what Kids Excel teaches to children. I was instrumental in the founding of this organization and have been teaching the NDI pedagogy for 25 years. So happy to see the children in the program thriving. Bravo!!

Such an amazing and caring group. The employees and volunteers are educated and So invested in all of the kids and adults in the classes. Jameson took awhile to get comfortable but now he is so excited to go to class and see his teachers and friends. When you have a child with autism life, school, and activities aren’t the same as it is with a neurotypical child, so to have this place for them to be around their peers and feel safe while having fun and learning is such a blessing.

My daughter loves this camp. We planned our entire summer around it.

The Winchester community has been greatly enriched by the presence of Italia Performing Arts Institute, the first of its kind in the area. Through their scholarship program for students and their Professional Dance Company- ArteInMovimento, they have breathed new life into the community. Despite their recent establishment, they have flourished and expanded with every new opportunity. I strongly encourage supporting these talented dancers as they continue to spread their art to the community.

It’s not only a dance studio where dance skills are created, developed and expanded on, it’s a dance studio where wonderful bonds of friendships are created, valuable life lessons are taught and developed (which will serve the students well in the future), confidences are built, etc. It’s also a dance studio where family bonds are formed and a sense of community comes alive. <br> <br>The instructors and staff at MMDC are extremely talented, qualified, dedicated, enthusiastic, professional, energetic, knowledgeable, friendly, inspiring, patient, positive, fun, polite, personable, encouraging and supportive etc. They make an effort to connect with their students and provide them with an amazingly positive and exciting environment. They also get to know their students on a personal level and aim to better their students inside and outside of dance. They help their students learn their routines and give specific feedback to each and every dancer, even before or after class. Most importantly the teachers inspire confidence, teamwork and pride in each and every class. Not only will your child/ren be nurtured as dancers but as human beings. <br> <br>The studio is friendly, clean and organized. It has a well-rounded curriculum, from ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, to lyrical etc. and they cater to different levels and abilities. There is also an opportunity to do competitive dance where the students participate at different conventions and competitions venues. They also provide opportunities for the students to help teachers as aids. The studio also bring in guest teachers and choreographers to keep things fresh and make sure they’re following the latest industry trends. <br> <br>There are also many fun activities at the studio that the students can take part in, such as Spirit Week, Homecoming Week etc. They also do many year round activities for their students e.g Trunk or Treat or Masquerade Party, Breakfast with Santa, or Breakfast with the grinch, Candygrams and an end of the year student banquet etc. <br> <br>Cost is always a concern and it can all add up very quickly because dance is not cheap. But the positive changes you will see in your child/ren will make it all worth it. Some of your children’s happiest memories will be at MMDC. I truly believe that MMDC has kept my step-daughter grounded and instilled essential qualities in her that are imperative for children: dedication, hard-work, honesty, respect. She has basically grown up up at MMDC, having spent so many essential years there so far. MMDC has saw her grow from a timid four year old to now a dedicated competition dance girl. I truly believe that the teachers had a hand in shaping who she is today. They are always warm and encouraging and push her to work hard to reach her full potential. I cannot speak highly enough of this place!
