Soldiers' Angels seems to be growing and dynamic. I have been involved with the Detroit food program since last October, and the actual distribution has quickly grown in popularity. With this growth, the process has changed monthly in positive efforts to manage the growth. I will continue to telephone in my registration.
I support our troops here and abroad any way I can. Soldiers' Angels is a direct way to help the troops NOW. Just a little time to show our troops we love them, care about them, pray for them and their families makes a world of difference to our honorable men and women in the service of our country. You can donate little or lot, money and/or time. They have great leaders that keep you in the loop and awesome FB page.
My family was looking for some Volunteer opportunities where we could all participate. Having a special place in our hearts for Veterans and their families - this became the best org for our family.
We love connecting with and supporting everyone involved in the deployments.
Soldiers Angels is a fantastic organization for supporting our troops. I am a member of the Letter Writing and Adoption teams. This is a means of giving back to those men and women who gave so much to us everyday. It is easy to join and means so much to those we support.
This is a great way to support our troops. You can do something small (write an email or letter) or you can do more by sending care packages or baked goods, etc. Soldier's Angels is very organized which makes it easy to participate. My team leader responds to my emails within a few hours answering any questions I might have. I love what Soldier's Angels does and I love being able to contribute. This is a wonderful charity!
ANNE B. I HAVE BEEN IN SOLDIERS' ANGELS FOR 4 AND A HALF YEARS. AS THE GRAND-
DAUGHTER OF A SOLDIER IN PATTON'S FIRST ARMY I'M SO VERY PROUD TO BE SERVING IN
AN ORGANIZATION OF SERVICE TO OUR TROOPS TODAY, AND VETERANS, WHICH WAS
BEGUN BY HIS GRAND NIECE! THE TROOPS I'VE SENT PACKAGES AND LETTERS TO HAVE
EXPRESSED ENORMOUS GRATITUDE! I FEEL WONDERFUL KNOWING I'VE BEEN GIVING
MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE SOME COMPANIONSHIP, APPRE-
CIATION AND GOODIES FROM HOME!
I wanted to something "small" to help support our troops. I did a LOT of research and SA was the organization that stood out to me. There are SO many ways to help through this organization. I chose to do letter writing. It's been very rewarding knowing that I might be brightening someones day. The best is when you receive letters back from soldiers. I would recommend this group to anyone looking to start volunteering. Once you get into it there are so many additional paths you can choose to branch out.
Soldiers' Angels is a wonderful organization, with a staff of dedicated, extremely energetic individuals. The organization has a long list of great programs that provide options to allow anyone wishing to support our veterans, active duty military personnel and/or their families to get involved. There is something for everyone!
Serving our military personnel through this amazing organization has been an honor. The dedication of these wonderful volunteers is nothing less than awesome and inspiring.
Serving those who are serving us in the armed forces is an amazing and rewarding opportunity to give the gift of support and encouragement. This is a great way to recognize and honor their selfless dedication and devotion to our country and all of us and let them know we have not forgotten them. Sometimes it paves the way for lasting and true friendships.
I've only been volunteering for a month, but am impressed by how organized Soldiers' Angels is on many levels...very easy to access requests for letters, birthday cards, words of enocouragement, etc. When I e-mail my group leader or team leader, I hear back in just a couple of hours. A pleasure to be a part of this fantastic organization!
Only one thing: YOU do need volunteers- but no one tells us(veterans) anything. My wife and I want to help with the food distribution. How do we start?
i have only been receiving food from this organization for two months, but it has been very helpful to me. You are given a specific time period to pick up the food and it is well organized and only takes 15-20 minutes to drive through the line to pick it up.
They are providing helpful and friendly food assistance. I can't think of anything they can improve.
Soldiers' Angels has help me through some difficult times the last year and a half. After a job lost the mobile food pantry help me get through some touch times. If it wasn't for Soldiers' Angel I don't know where I would be.
First of all the volunteers are very nice and courteous. This nonprofit organization is very needed so they can continue to help those vets in true need. Of course there is always room for improvement but as far as I'm concerned they are right where they need to be. Thanks Soldier's Angels.\uD83D\uDC4D
I have been volunteering with this organization for several years now, from writing letters to the Troops, to adopting deployed military members, to Christmas adoptions Stateside and all of it has been a labor of love. Soldiers' Angels brings good will and cheer to the Troops went they need it most. They also send out valuable supplies and contribute to many projects. I am so proud to support our US Military and really like being a part of Soldiers' Angels.
