I’ve volunteered with Soldiers Angels for almost a decade. The money you spend goes directly to the soldiers you are supporting because you choose how you support other than a validation fee which is nominal . It is truly a chartity that exists because of its volunteers and offers a direct way to care for our deployed armed forces while also providing assistance to veterans. I couldn’t be prouder to be able to serve those who serve with the assistance of this team.

When I deployed with my husband to Afghanistan 2010-2011, I had an Angel "Teresa" write to me weekly. I absolutely loved it. When I got out in 2016 I decided I wanted to give back and support the Ladies of Liberty. I know how tough it can be to be a female in the military which is why I chose LOL. Thank you Soldiers Angels for all the amazing things you do.

As an active duty service member who served in Afghanistan, I was blessed with an Angel, Teresa who wrote me letters every week for 6 months. Now that I am a combat veteran I give back by sending a box monthly to a female soldier through the LOL- Ladies of Liberty group. I am also a part of a SOF team who sends boxes monthly along with letters of encouragement. I love being able to send a little something from home to these men and women. Soldier's Angels is an amazing organization that helps everyone anyway that they can, from veterans to active duty.

I have been volunteering with Soldiers' Angels since 2009, and it has been one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences I've ever had. You get to connect with a wonderful group of like minded Angels who are true patriots that love their country and the men and women who sacrifice(d) so much for our nation's freedoms. You get to help brighten the day of active duty service men and women, their families and veterans.

I have been involved with Soldiers’ Angels for several years. I have donated money, goods (blankets, socks, Christmas stockings, Halloween Candy), and my time. I recently participated in a San Antonio Food Distribution Event. The looks and expression of appreciation from those we were serving were truly humbling. I have been in their office several times and have witnessed the genuine care and concern they have for our Veterans, Active Duty Members, and their families. As a retired AF Lt Col, it is an honor to support those who have and are serving.

Soldier’s Angels stands true to their motto, May No Soldier Go Unloved. I have been a volunteer with them just short a couple years now and have no intention of leaving. Being able to reach out directly to our deployed and vets through their many different opportunities is truly an amazing experience.

I love to bake and share with others. I was looking for a way to share all my baking and was informed about a group called Soldiers Angels. After reading about this amazing organization I knew I had to become a volunteer and thus began my journey as a Baking Angel. Knowing my homemade goodies are giving our men and women a little bit of home and some comfort gives me joy and a feeling of knowing this is one way I can help. I also have joined a couple of other Angel Teams since and I support them by sending them a monthly care package alone with weekly mail in hopes they receive mail from me each week. I know my packages go directly to the solider and they know they are not forgotten. My husband is retired military and this is something we can do together. We have fun shopping for items on sale, he knows what they can use so we are on the lookout and building up our supplies for future boxes.I love what we are doing, its fun, and for a very worthwhile organization.

I've volunteered with Soldiers' Angels since 2013. I believe we do little things that make a big difference. Most of the volunteer work can be done around my schedule, which helps a lot, as I have a full-time job. This is an organization and work I believe in.

I started with Soldiers' Angels about five years ago. I like the mission and how it lets me reach out person-to-person, rather than just writing a check. I also believe in the mission of supporting military personnel, veterans and their families, and letting them know they're appreciated and remembered. Leaders work hard to let volunteers know they're appreciated, too, and there's a network for getting questions answered.

I have worked with many charities but never one like Soldiers' Angels. I adopt deployed service members through this wonderful organization and their gratitude for even the smallest thing that reminds them of home and that people care is worth so much. Another great thing, is that I know what I send goes directly to the service member, not for overhead or to pay staff, because I buy and ship the care packages myself. Soldiers' Angels does so much in so many ways to support our great military!

I joined this organization because I just wanted to be a small help to some deployed service member. What I didn’t realize was how truly supportive this organization is in so many areas - deployed military, their families and veterans. The leaders are knowledgeable and responsive and the closed Facebook groups provide encouragement, advise and feels like true friends working on the same goal - support for our military members. I LOVE this organization and proud to be part of it!

I came across Soldiers Angels around the holidays. I read up on the Angels and decided to join. I started in the sending, stockings and in the cards group. I moved around to adopting soldiers. Sending Thank you cards to Honor Flights. There's no better feeling than a deployed soldier sending you a Thank you for sending a package or card to them. Something that is so small to us means the world to them. What it comes down to is. We are the land of the free because they are the brave. They risk it all for us and it's my pleasure sending them things to make their deployment a little easier

I how ben a part of Soldiers' Angels for 12 years, the last 4 as a Team Leader for one of our Deployed Services Teams. A am grateful to the volunteers who have dedicated their time and energy. I have had the opportunity to make presentations that have proven enlightening to those in the audience. It helps to keep awareness of the ongoing responsibilities our Military has to keep us safe. That is the job these men and women have chosen. I feel it is my honor to support them.

Soldiers' Angels does incredible work for our service members, veterans, and their families. I have been a volunteer for 3 years, and I am continually impressed by the impact Soldiers' Angels has on the lives of our deployed military and veterans. With so many different ways for volunteers to get involved, there is bound to be an opportunity that fits every volunteer's budget and time. I particularly love that I am able to send support in the form of letters and care packages directly to deployed service members so I can rest assured my efforts are going directly to those who need it.

I joined to help support those currently deployed. I have done so since I was a teen back in the 70s. This was my avenue to continue to support, as I do not personally know someone currently overseas. This group holds to high (and necessary) standards for both the sender's and receiver's privacy and safety. There is endless support for those sending and ongoing ideas and suggestions for those receiving. This group is friendly and welcoming. This friendly welcome is not only from the organizers, but from others who are volunteering, as well.

I love the way Soldiers Angels is set up
and it’s mission statement. I’ve been an Angel (volunteer) for only 3 mos but I’ve loved every minute of it! As an Angel, I get so much more satisfaction than I would by just sending a monetary donation. Even if I never hear from my adopted service member, I am part of a very communicative community of Angels.

I only recently joined, but this is an amazing org of very helpful and very caring people. They are helping to support the troops with care packages, letters, baking, and in a great many other ways (I'm part of the baking team). All of the volunteers are *VERY* giving of their time to help support the troops, *BUT* also to support each other (I've learned more about baking and sending cookies in two months than in my previous 5 years of baking!).

Soldiers’ Angels is amazing. I have never been a part of a more supportive, giving, loving group. It is a huge spread out family who have one goal. To show our military that they are not forgotten when they deploy, that they are loved and we support them and appreciate their service, courage, loyalty and every sacrifice they make for us and our country. Soldiers’ Angels truly helps keep our military men and women where they belong, in our hearts and minds I am proud to be a member of such a fantastic group of people.

I was looking for a charity for service members. So many of them are scams. Soldier's Angels received favorable reviews, so I joined up. I was embraced from the first communication. All my questions get answered swiftly. The Facebook page for sharing ideas and information is so helpful. I am not a natural poster but I have been compelled to share often because the atmosphere is so supportive. I have enjoyed looking for things to fill my monthly box and each Sunday afternoon I sit down and write my service member a letter. I would recommend this charity for their good work as well as their communication skills.

I have been a volunteer since 2008 and now a Group Leader with the Deployed Adoption Team. It is one of the most rewarding opportunities that I have experienced in my life. The support we give these men and women is not measurable. Our words of encouragement and support may be the only ones they receive. Soldiers' Angels helps every step of the way, from providing the names to adopt to making care packages available from their store that we can just call and order. Our support from beginning of life with the Baby Brigade Team through the Veterans support reinforces our motto, "May No Soldier Go Unloved". Our President, Amy Palmer, also a Veteran understands what it means to be in the military and strives to meet the needs of our service members. She is one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Please come join us! You won't regret it. Even when life hands us what seems to be more than we can handle, helping others is the best medicine, that I know from experience. You'll find a purpose in Soldiers' Angels. The fulfillment you get by helping to lift others up will lift you as well. Come join my group! I'll help you every step of the way!

I really love this organization. I have been with them for over 11 years now and cannot imagine my life without being involved. Supporting our Service Members has always been on my mind since being a young person and being exposed to the Viet Nam war on television. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of our military. I have a notebook full of photos and letters and cards from many of them. Last year I had the wonderful opportunity of adopting a young girl that served as part of a medic team. I was able to make the holidays a lot better for her team, through her adoption. I am still in contact with her now, even after her deployment ended. She is now out of the military after 12 years of service and is in nursing school. She plans to re-join once she is finished with school, proudly as a nurse. I couldn't be more proud if she was my own daughter! This organization has some of the very best administration that I have ever worked with. You can be involved as little or as much as you would like. There is a letter writing team that the team requirement is one letter per month. That's it! After all, it is words of support, from the country these young men and women are fighting for, that means so much! There are 11 different teams of various support you can be involved with. One volunteer said she tells people that we are involved from birth to passing. And it's true. There is a team that has virtual baby showers for expecting spouses of deployed military. We have our veteran support programs to help those who gave so much in past service. I am now a Group Leader for the Deployed Adoption Team because of my love for this organization. It truly is a lot of fun and you will get much more satisfaction from your involvement than you could ever realize. Please check us out!

My husband and I are veterans of the U. S. Army and are passionate about supporting our military and veterans. When seeking out an organization in which to donate, I found Soldiers' Angels cause and rating to be top notch; giving so much and taking very little for themselves. I love the various ways they support the military, their families, and veterans all year long, non-stop. I've gladly purchased items on their wish list from Amazon that go directly to the organization. I'm also a published romance author, proud to dedicate all sales from my military romance to their organization. When giving out swag bags, I include a pamphlet from Soldiers' Angels so that others can learn about their organization and consider donating. (Laura M. Baird)

I get so much joy from being able to write as many letters as I want a week. I love being able to remind a deployed solider that they are always in our thoughts and that all they do never goes unnoticed back in the states. I immediately received automated message that it was filled up. I can't even get on the waiting list and this happened to me four months in a row. Therefore I truly believed that there is some inside favoritism going on with this program. I can give my name if I am allowed to and I am not the only one that has been experiencing this. I am a disabled veteran, I know it is a free program, however, you have to do it right or I will take it to further investigations. My email is prosign2003@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your feedback. The Soldiers’ Angels Veteran Mobile Food Distributions are first-come/first-served. Unfortunately, our events can only provide support to 200 veterans per month. For your particular market, we have an email & text message distribution list of well over 1,000 veterans. When we release the registration link to those lists, the event fills up incredibly fast due to the large amount of individuals in need of support. The event in your market fills in approximately 10 minutes on average. If you don’t sign up to register within the first few minutes, you will not make it before the link shuts down. Based on our records of your email address, for the last four months it has actually been several hours between the time the email was released and you clicked on the registration link. Therefore, the event had been filled for several hours already by the time you attempted to register. We are working to grow our program, but it will likely always fill quickly.
