The Third sector Partners (TSP) contacted me in 2008 for a vacant post of Director, Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology (GUIDE), Bhuj (Gujarat). I was very much impressed by the efficient working of TSP, particularly Ms. Divya Babbar, Associate Knowledge Manager, TSP as she frequently contacted me over telephonic and through email during the process of selection, I could feel that TSP is really good organization, efficient and have full professionalism. As such this was my first experience dealing with such an organization. I also got opportunity to interact with Ms. Pari Jhaveri, CEO, TSP over telephone. She helped me in different ways and I feel that she provides an excellent leadership to the TSP. I wish all the best to TSP, its leader and the entire team. P.K.Mathur
Three months back, I planned to stretch myself beyond what I have been doing, and I wanted to prove myself. To my surprise, one fine morning Ms.Namita from Third Sector Partners contacted about the position matching to my Candidature in a reputed agency. Trust me, I am not aware of this agency prior to this process. Thus, after completing all the selection process I was in a fix to take decision. Seriously, I totally decided to refuse to accept this offer but Ms.Namita and Ms.Pari provided their positive encouragement which motivated me to rethink on my decision. During the whole process, I never felt I was interacting with new persons, but I had a feeling that I am interacting with my very old friends. I appreciate their service and professionalism of Third Sector partners.
Hello ....I am Hemendra Sharma working in women weave charitable trust in Mahehswar, central India. I am in development sector since 2005 and willing to work in an organization which is working for the promotion of fair trade in rural area. Finally I got through Third Sector Partners. Now I have 100% job satisfaction and my employer is also very happy.
I have had a limited interaction with Third Sector Partners and my experience with them has been satisfactory. They are responsive and thoroughly professional in their approach.
Have had excellent dealings with them thus far. They have recruited three senior people for orgainsations that I am associated with on the board, with excellent results each time. Their staff is always motivated and enthused to deliver their best
We used Third Sector Partners to help us fill a senior position within our organisation. As this was the first time we had used a recruitment agency to find a candidate for our organisation working with Third Sector Partners was helpful for us in a variety of ways. It gave us an understanding of how to use an external agency to support our recruitment process and also helped us clarify how we want to move forward with other senior positions. Third Sector Partners was prompt in responding to deadlines and follow up. We hope that through this partnership we will be able to find a suitable candidate.
I have interfaced with the Third Sector Partner team twice over the last two years and found them transparent, upfront, professional and rigorous in their process. They bring high value to the senior level placement market in the non-profit sector. They have been particularly innovative in placing cross-over candidates from the corporate sector at senior positions in non-profts.
This is a very noble and timely initiative which has met an important felt need. Support of women for higher education is something that often gets forgotten. Keep it up
i am very happy to be the part of katalyst.... my experience was good....and i like the coatching which we had in our classes...i like aptitude classes and life skill classes....
My interaction has been mostly with Ms.Priyanka Mazumdar. I have quite liked the professional way in which Third sector partners and specifically Priyanka has inetracted with me, by giving me the right inputs to understand the role better. By meeting up with me personally she brought in the hands on experience which she has about the social sector. This gave me the required comfort to take an active interest in the opportunity being provided.
I am a part of Katalyst [Pune] program for last two years.Katalyst helped me financially as well as improved my communicating skills through different workshops. I joined various English spoken classes, personality development courses through Katalyst which is the reason that today I am a confident girl and I have stage daring.Through this program we got to know many persons from different industries who are working as mentors for some of us which is really a encouraging thing. I am very happy that I am a part of this innovative program.
I first got introduced to Katalyst two and a half years ago. Given that I work with the Citizenship department of a Multi National Company, the first meeting was a professional introductary meeting. What I found most inetresting is the concept of mentoring. I, therefore decided to mentor two of Katalysts, bright ladies. Two years into the program it has been a great learing experience for me. Katalyst has played a critical role in putting a structure to this very important initiative. Mentoring can go a long way in shaping ones carrier but to have a successful mentoring program running for a longer time is indeed a commendable achievement.
Katatlyst is one of the greatest organisation in the country. It has been doing innumerable quality programs for the sake of students educational welfare. It helps identify talented girls from underprivileged communities and gives them a chance of good life through education, personality development and life skills by enhancing their employability by supporting their higher and professional education.I have been part of this programme since 1 year and I can find myself as a confident girl and can do my studies without taking any other echonomical burdons. THANKS TO KATALYST.
I found Third Sector Partners, pleasant and professional. The team handled sensitive issues in a manner that was courteous but thorough. They combine technical skills with the ability to keep commitments. From a distance, my respect for TSP grew when I saw them being invited (by the client), to sit with their Board and decide on final selections. I believe they will succeed in building their business because they place a premium, on relationships.
I, Kavita Khandekar, am the part of Katalyst from last three years. Katalyst supports girls from underprivileged pursuing engineering & medical college. It has helped me to improve my academics & communication skills. It has assisted me to groom my personality. My mentor & project co-coordinator have guided me from time to time & supported morally. About 25 girls from Mumbai are on this program.
I’m Navya jyothi and I have completed my graduation from Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering. I'm associated with KATALYST from past 6 months. Katalyst is helping me in pursuing my post graduation and also in finding jobs. Apart from financial assistance as any other NGOs do Katalyst stands unique because of its training sessions such as classes on communication skills, personality development, aptitude classes, C classes and on life skills etc. I have also joined vani institute of technology for GATE coaching through Katalyst. Katalyst also has a mentorship program in which each student has a mentor who provides us guidance on finding jobs and other communication skills. Katalyst is mainly for meritorious girls. I’m grateful and consider myself fortunate to be a part of Third Sector Partners.
Katalyst is not just a scholarship program. It works towards empowering under privileged girls to become mature, successful individuals in their fields. It focuses on the individual as a whole. It organises several soft skills training (communication skills) and educational training (plant visits) programs. Additionally, each student has a Mentor, someone who can guide the student in various walks of life. Students get to interact & receive support and guidance from individuals outside their communities and have an exposure to a new set of experiences and perspectives. Katalyst also serves as a channel for Mentors to contribute to the society. Katalyst provides assistance in personality development and career guidance. The Katalyst team takes personal interest in each student and have a very transparent and fair process.
I am involved as a volunteer and have been very happy with their selection of students to whom they have to provide benefits. I am also happy with the fact that they are helping disadvantaged women students with overall development. They also regularly follow up to ensure that volunteers put in the required amount of effort and the efforts are bearing fruit.
Third sector Partner did call me at the time when I was just thinking for a change in my job. they have given me info about two openings. I found the staffs really helpful with a friendlu but proffessional attitude. they spent good amount of time with me over phone. I am really happy for the interactions I had with them. I am sending their contact details to some of my friends also.
Katalyst has been providing scholarships to a number of needy and poor girl students of our college. Education of a girl child and her empowerment is important for creating a healthy society. Katalyst is not only merely empowering but trying to make girl students take up higher education like engineering and be equal to boys in every respect. The soft skills, additional tools required for enhancing job potential of a candidate are also arranged by bringing in experts and training the girl students. Another important feature is arranging get togethers visits to nearby plants has beeb adding great value and potential of the students. The change observed in these girl students year after year has been phenomenal. The concept of mentorship and association with senior faculty of the institute as mentors with some of these selected scholars gets them further impetus in their growth.
Katalyst is helping us in all .I mean in every issue where we want some guidance and assistance. It is not only helping in financial matter in order to continue our academics but also doing its best effort to make us mentally strong enough to face the situation. Every weekend we meet our mentor. We will have test frequently which helps us to build our knowledge for interviews and give us support for career development. They help us how to plan our daily work .I am very thankful to this ,without this it would be very difficult for me to continue my education.
My Experience in working with TSP has been very satisfactory. This is an organisation which is very professional, competenet and committed to thier work. They score very high on integrity and thier commitment to deliver results.
The Katalyst program of the Third Sector Partners has made it possible for girl students with an exceptional academic performance but from a poor economic background to become the future leaders of our corporate world. In my first year of accociation with them I sponsored and mentored 2 girls. Both of them have now completed their engineering course from a prestigious college in Mumbai and are employed with highly reputed organisations. One has joined Larson and Toubro and the other is with Shaporji Palonji Constructions. In the 1 year of mentoring we would meet every month and discuss their progress in academics as well as focus on personality development. The girls would also often call/email and share any other concerns/difficulties/achievements etc. This program has also contributed to me personally as today I can very proudly say that I was instrumental in shaping the careers of 2 very needy but intelligent girls. This year I have sponsored 3 girls and will be their mentor till they achieve their dreams.
It wasreally a nice experience to get in touch with Third Sector Partnes, an organisation with expertise to find suitable opportunities for the suitable persons. Whole work of the organisation is backed with an efficient group of professionals that adds value to their services.
I have been part of this organisation(Katalyst) for more than 8 months now.It has been a pleasant experience.I personally got exposure to lot of people who are a part of the IT industry. The Mentor-Mentee concept is really good. The soft skills and placement oriented trainings conducted have been of great help.
Its a great experience being in Katalyst. Even though I am in first sem Engineering,I got to learn so many things because of Katalyst. I am undergoing all kinds of coachings so I am sure of doing better when it comes to my interview. I am also given a mentor. They help me a lot.I am glad to be in Katalyst. Thank you
I am doing my final year engineering and i am being helped by KATALYST from past one year..this is one such organisation where students are not only provided with financial assistance to continue their studies but also boosted mentally to face the outside world. Each and every student is provided with a mentor who is helping us in solving any kind of problems we face either academics related or others. Every weekend there are classes conducted teaching students C programming, analytical skills and lots more which is helping us to face the campus interviews with confidence.
TSP contacted me on the telephone as they were seeking a candiate for a senior position in a non-profit. Through the run in they kept in touch with me and gathered a good deal of information of my strengths and probably weaknesses. Although they were telephoning me frequently it was on the whole non-invasive and extremely cordial. I personally enjoyed talking to the young lady who was managing the selection process. Eventually I did not get selected for the job, but that was not a decision made by the TSP since they were facilitators. An organization like TSP can only take a horse to water it cannot make it drink.
Katalyst (initiative of Third Sector Partners) follows a really strong result-oriented approach which is what sets them apart. They are constantly assessing their impact and looking for ways to improve their effectiveness. This philosophy goes into every little activity which is what makes the difference. They are very focussed on their effort and really strive to make a difference to the long term lives of the people they work with.
I am a katalyst student from past 2 years. Katalyst is helping us in both academically and financially. We are getting our admission fee, book fee from katalyst which is very helpful to us. After Diploma I had a plan to join job and help my family, but now I am in one of the famous Engg College i.e R.V.College of engg because of Katalyst, which otherwise would be only in my dream of doing B.E. Thank You katalyst. Every weekend we meet together and many programs will be arranged for us such as Communication skills,Interview skills, Aptitude classes which are really very important in building successful career. We gain lot of knowledge from these classes. One very useful aspect is we all have been assigned a mentors who are giving us the practical scenarios in industry.
It was a nice experience for me being telephonically interviewed by Archana of Third Sector Partners for the position of General Manager (West) for AKRSPI. I came to know about Third Sector Partners from one of my colleague in PRADAN. In the past two months, there were about eight interactions. Each interaction was in an open, comfortable and facilitative environment. They have a genuine interest in other person and try to explore various dimensions from interviewee’s point of view. They have good listening ability and have empathy for others. I enjoyed each discussion with Archana. She has the ability of active listening and giving space to me which encouraged me to share more about myself. Her clear communication skills helped me to link my professional experiences and skills for the position advertised. I was kept updated about the developments. It was really a pleasant experience.
I was involved with Katalyst a part of Third Sector Partners in one of their projects on funding talented Girls from underprivileged families in Bnagalore - as a mentor. I found thie organisation highly committed with a very good pool of volunteers who really spend qulaity time with their sponsored candidates. This really encouraged me also to be involved for the development of the girls & we tried to give them all the insight of the real corporate & industry world. As a student they really do not get much exposure to their line of subject & the application of their knowlegde which as a mentor tried to my best possible capability. I really appreciate their efforts & approach & wish them all the best in all their endevaours. I would really love to work with them whenever needed.
my experience was good.I really impressed what they thought us till now.example:how to face interviews, how to write a resume, adhyapana classes and so on......... I got more information about these things.........
hi this is ashwini persuing my engineering in e&c branch from bnmit. i have been with katalyst from past six months. katalyst has helped me in many was like in improving technical ,softskills etc.. they gave computer system to practice and to interact with our mentors.infact they have reduced my parents burden since i have two more brothers who are also studying.for me katalyst is a boon that is given to me for my hard work.
My experience with third sector partners was an eye opener. Considering they were associated with an unorgansied social sector , their professionalism took me by surprise. All meetings took off in time. Clarity in communications helped in relating my skills to the JOB well. It took three months to confirm abount my appointment due to internal issues of the appointing NGO, but I was kept updated on the status regularly which is not commonly found in other similar organisation. Lastly, I was impressed with the reference check procedure. Though elaborate at the first instance it definitely brings out the personal and professional capabilities of the appointee.
Hi!!! this Shruthi.G doing mechanical engineering in Dr.AIT, Bengaluru. I'm associated with KATALYST from past one year. I'm pursuing the course because of this organisation. My father once suffered from Cancer(malignant tumour). For the operation we spent all our money. In this adherent situation I joined KATALYST. I’m enjoying the student life with full zeal. Here the classes are arranged according to our need. They are striving to make us tough competent. In the life skill classes I learnt how to pronounce the word, Time management, Money management. I learnt C-programming. They trained us practically in Group discussions, personal introduction, solving aptitude questions. Mentoring is the prominent part of this organization. I’m guided by the mentor in every field. They purchase text books for the students. I’m dreaming high. We have company visits. In vacations they do take us out for ice places one such was the Innovative film city and aero drum:). Last time they had arranged the competition in the IBM Company in which I won the prize:)
I am really happy to be a part of katalyst. The way of teaching is really good and its different from our college teaching. The soft skills class helped me a lot and it was very interesting and i had no idea about apptitude but now i am in better stage. The life skills class was also good and we learnt so many practical things. really i had nice experience.
Katalyst has a clear vision of supporting girl students who really want to achieve great in their life. The concept of giving every student a mentor is not only unique, but also shows the involvement of Katalyst Organization, in helping the students to develop better lifeskills. Monetary benefit the student gets is the least of the importance when compared to other benefits given by Katalyst, that helps in development development of their carrier and life, activities such as placement training, mentoring, counselling, academic support and the list goes on...
I am sowmya and I have been interacting with KATALYST from past 6 months. They came to our college and selected deserving students.I feel very happy to be a part of katalyst. Many other organizations might help the students financially but our katalyst stands out among all these by giving other moral guidances like mentor interaction, lifeskills training, soft skills training and other coaching classes which are highly helpful for the all-round development of an individual.Having classes on saturday and sunday I really wonder how time passes. It is so much interesting.
Katalyst has given me an opportunity to do my bit for the people at the bottom of the pyramid. By becoming a Mentor and guiding individuals not only on the educational front but on the awareness front has shown me that there are a lot of information that we assume that all should have -but its not true. There are still a huge community of people who by virtue of their education are rising up but only in the education/good grades side, but what about the vast area of smartness? Common sense? These do not come by just going to a good college. These come by being aware. And that is what I am doing along with Katalyst. We're making individuals with not only good grades but also with a smarter mind. We're making individuals who'd use their heads to understand what is right and wrong. We're making individuals who'd be smart and behave responsibly. Thanks to Katalyst -we're making it a possibilty. We're making a difference to the society.
The motive and the rigour with which they conduct the search both for mentees and mentors is commendable. I only have pwords of praise for them
Third sector is the best hiring firm for social sector professionals especially for the senior management positions i have greatly benefited from this in getting a senior management position. The support they provide to the candidate is appreciated, they provide accompaniment process even after the candidate has joined the new organisation to ensure that he feels at home.
I am Sowmya, studying in M.Sc(Physics) third semester, in Bangalore University. Katalyst identifies talents in girl students and strive towards moulding these talents firmly in them and help them excel in the journey of life. I have been given financial support by Katalyst for my education. Along with the college fee, they bear the expenses of the essential books which I buy. A personal computer has been provided to me and the maintainance is taken care by katalyst. All students of Katalyst and the mothers of students have been medically insured. This has been of great strength to me. Every student has been attached to a mentor depending on what her interest is and what she wants to be. I have love towards astronomy and astrophysics and I want to be an astronaut. Dr. K. N. Nagendra, a renouned scientist at the Indian Institute of Astrophisics, Bangalore, has been assigned as my mentor. I undertook a project under his guidance, and he is an excellent teacher. He is helping me with lots of books and guiding me to prepare for the entrance exams for doctorate programme. I am very thankful to Katalyst for this great step. It is a milestone in my career. Sessions and workshops on Career counselling, soft skills, life-skills, computer programming etc.. will be organised very frequently to make the students aware of the present scenario and shape them according to what the society demands. Katalyst comprises of a blend of students from various branches of science, commerce, arts, engineering and medicine. This is a very good platform to learn and let learn.
I have been associated with Katalyst for more than 8 months now as a trainer for their placement training course. What's unique about Katalyst is that it brings a different perspective when it comes to uplifting the girl child. Their passion to support the most needy of all with the best of everything really stands out amongst them. They always extend a helping hand for those who seemed to have lost hope and are in desperate need of aid and support. My association with Katalyst has been enriched with moments of joy and satisfaction. May this organization scale further heights and achieve more success than ever before!!!
I have found Third Sector Partners to be very professional in their approach. I have interacted with TSP both as a client seeking suitable applicants as well as a prospective applicant myself. In both instances, I have been struck by the level of detailed planning and handholding that they voluntarily undertake to help develop trust and confidence all around. I would without hesitance, recommend them to organisations and potential applicants.
Initially, when I came to know about the organisation, I was thrilled to see online reviews, and I said to myself that this is probably one organisation that could help me make a transition into the Third Sector, and I contacted the office, sent an email or two, and was told that someone would get back to have a chat. But, unfortunately people seem to be very busy to revert, leave aside converse. This could be improved with making it clear at the outset that the organisation is just a head-hunting firm focusing at a niche segment; basically, a 'hunting' organisation, and not a 'farming' organisation. But, if the organisation is truly in the business of identifying the potential, and get beyond the 'head-hunting' rat race, one should look at exploring various profiles in the corporate sector and speak to them for what they can provide, and if people approach directly, then the work is half done for you know then for sure that there are people who have made up their mind (or toiling with the idea) to make the shift, but are looking for expert guidance and/or counselling. My experience was sad, but that doesn't mean that, all those who are interested, should go through the same experience. Unfortunately, I had to come across such a forum to express. I hope I have been able to help by remaining honest & candid.
My name is Pooja P and I'm pursuing Engineering from RV College Of Engineering. I'm currently in 5th semester, Computer Science and Engineering.I've been associated with Third Sector Partners for about a year now. Due to financial shortcomings I was finding it very difficult to continue my education even with a good ranking of 175 in the KCET conducted for entry to Engineering course in Karnataka. When I came across Third Sector Partners, I had never heard about it and was hesitant at first to ask them for help. But I took the leap and approached them. I informed them of my troubles and requested for support. I was surprised by the way I was treated(extremely friendly and supportive). I felt at home after interacting with them. I was assured their help and from that day onwards Third Sector Partners has been my source of strength( in terms of financial help and other areas too). I'm involved in various activities conducted towards improving my employability when I graduate and also in improving my grades at college. I'm grateful and consider myself fortunate to be a part of Third Sector Partners.
I'm manasa pursuing my 5 sem BE in Sri Venkateshwara Engineering College and I have been associated with KATALYST since march 2009. It's an organisation mainly for girls helping many girls to make their dream come true.I have got 87% aggregate in my BE so KATALYST selected me and decided to help to continue my studies. Apart from financial support they do provide many more helpful things such as conducting softskill classes, technical classes, aptitude classes and many more classes which actually many colleges do not provide. I'm really fortunate to have such classes and that is all again because of KATALYST. This real world actually needs many things other than our academics, so KATALYST is playing a very important role in shaping many girls future.so i'm really glad to be a part of such an organisation.
I'm Anushree A Ganjam, studying in 5th sem engineering, computer science branch in R N S I T Bangalore.I'm happy to be a part of katalyst.I joined katalyst in november of last year. Its been great experience from then on.Here we are selected on merit basis and also on income basis.I'm very good in my academics.I hv got an aggregate of 83% in engineering till now. And coming to my family, I'm the only child and my parents want me to study well. So,i joined katalyst as they help for our studies by paying fees and also getting us guest lectures on various topics so that we get exposed to new technologies of this fast growing world. we also hv aptitude training classes, group discussions, communication classes which helps us for placements. This is conducted by 'Adhyapana' team. And all of us are enjoying it.Katalyst strives hard to make us the best not only in one field but all. We are helped a lot by all these classes.Even we hv revision classes on the same subjects which we find difficult in college and not able to understand. Katalyst is mainly for girls and I'm happy to be a part of Katalyst. thank you
* Very professional in approach. * Makes excellent effort in understanding client's requirements. * Has a wide reach of prospective candidates. * Keeps the organization informed about the progress of the search.

Hello, I am Anuradha.S.Iam a reciepient of Katalyst scholarship.Iam a member of katalyst from october 2008.I am from a lower middle class family.Katalyst is helping me in pursuing my studies.Apart from financial assistance as any other NGOs do Katalyst stands unique because of its training sessions such as classes on communication skills, personality development, aptitude classes,C classes etc. Each student has a mentor who provide guidance on academics and other issues as well.
I have been associated with Katalyst for nearly year now.I conduct trainings for the students both at Bangalore and Pune. There are many features that distinguish Katalyst from other programs offering similar services. Katalyst does not just stop at providing deserving girl students with monetary aid, they go ahead and try to fulfill all the needs of the students ; be it providing computers or internet connections or additional courses. Another important aspect that caught my attention is Katalyst’s endeavor to develop the overall personality of the girl child. They strive to achieve this through different personality development courses, communication skills workshops, field trips and interesting interactions with eminent people from all walks of life. Their idea of tying up each student with a mentor provides the student with the much needed personal guidance and help. Probably what makes each organization unique, is the people who are behind it.One of the reasons for Katalyst’s success seems to the extraordinary efforts of the program coordinators who go out of their way to help the students. Their stringent method of screening students ensures that only deserving students are provided the necessary financial support to study. My association with Katalyst has been a great learning experience for me. I wish them the very best and hope that the organization continues to reach out to more students in need over the next few years.
We have been associated with Katalyst in several activities. We mentor teh girl students with our industry experience. We provide scholarship to the meritorious scholars who need financial assistance for their higher study. The Katalyst organization is very professional and doing great job in building life odf these needy children.
Barefootjobs is a newer and enlightened experience in the area of social sector .It provides employers as well as employees a chance to visit and find suitable job seekers/jobs at one platform. The found immense results from the website.
I work as a volunteer with the Katalyst Program in TSP. ( I have worked to help create data tracking systems, pitching documents and interact with students on a host of topics.) I like the program Katalyst due to the multiple benefits it brings to the student and his family by promoting education and more importantly grooming of the child. The grooming is done keeping in mind the needs of a good educational and personality background for further studies or a good corporate job.
I have been one of the part of catalyst since from one year. From catalyst,i improved my communication skills by attending basics of english classes,i improved myself as a professional student from the catalyst,i learnt about apptitude by attending so many clsses & so many tests. This catalyst is really supporting me to withstand as a profestionalist & financially
My connection with Katalyst dates about 2 years back, it is one of the best place where you actually get to know what the world is all about.Katalyst is the one which moulds a girl in a proper manner a lets her touch the skies. They enrich you morally and ethically which is uncompensatable. They develop all the skills in you like soft skills, life skills, subject wise knowledge and whay not? They give you a platforn to perform. They are the real caretakers....It's no doubt that they are the shapers of my life and the firm to which I'll be greatful for my entire life.If I'm an Engineer today it's only because of "KATALYST"
Real job hunters, a professional in true sense, Third sector Partners (TSP)dug out my name as potential candidate for a position for which, I would not have known without them, based on my CV posted on the internet a few days back. The initial reaction was a little reluctance as I was not having much knowledge about the TSP, but my confidence in them grew with time as they approached in such a professional and organised manner that I started realising that my dream job may become a reality soon.
I have been a part of katalyst since one year.In this one year I have improved a lot in my communication ,and my attitude.katalyst has given me 2 mentors ,they both are helping me to come out from my fear and they are coaching me how to be a succesful humanbeing. And even katalyst is helping me financially. so i would like to thank this organization for making me a part. thank u
During my interaction with TSP for a professional opportunity, I found their professional services to be of very high quality. From the detailed job description provided to the follow up after the interview, it was a very personalized experience with constant followup between the parties concerned.
I joined Katalyst a CSR initiative of Third Sector Partners in August 2008. I dont know how I spent 1 year and 3 months with Katalyst. I feel it like my second home. It is helping me to reach my goal by giving coaching, financial help, a good mentor and many more. They also conduct many activities to have fun apart from academics. I was naive and didn't have self confidence before joining Katalyst. But the training clases arranged by Katalyst have made me to improve my skills. I am glad to say that I am a part of Katalyst. I always feel to be at Katalyst.
The organization has not just given me financial support but much more than that. They arrange personality development classes, communication classes and a mentoring session, which is very important and helpful.
I'm very proud to be a part of katalyst program. it is helping me to develop in both academic and non-academic fields.I'm finding very drastic change in myself as I'm becoming very optimistic person.before joining to this i was not very confident and i don't even argue with my college staffs i mean in terms of asking doubts and all .but now i never sit quite if I'd something problem in understanding this is all i got from katalyst and mentor's are very friendly and they are ready to help like anything in building our career.of course it is helping me economically.
As a mentor at Katalyst-India to a couple of girl-students that are pursuing professional educational programs, I feel tremendous sense of satisfaction & achievement in nurturing them. As most women face the glass-ceiling effects in the Corporate arena, I feel that by dedicating my time to develop these mentees I am preparing them to successfully face the challenges that await them in their personal & professional life. I get self-motivated in my interaction with my mentees & in turn can sense their motivation to do better & be better human beings, now as students & later as responsible adults. I encourage my mentees and give them a responsible role by being exemplairy. The manner in which the organization conducts itself is very professional & result-oriented based on objectives, which itself is a great learning & interactive process.
An informative phone call from Madhuri lead me this non-profit organsiation. It took me some to assess and analyse regards their work and their contribution to the society, the more I think the more I am convinced, that this is a nice way to support the development of a nation. You are making the right people reach each other, thats fantastic, otherwise you can always find an outgoing person sitting inide a cashiers chamber, an out of the place person. It was an opportune time, when I recieved this call, we had some vacancy for a counseler, and we decided to float it on barefoot, however the time was short, but we recieved nice response, however the post has not yet bee finalised, but thats our own hassle. I would strongly recommend Barefoot to keep up with this and I would say that this is a blessing in disguise for both employees and employers.. My Best Wshes
Katalyst program at Bangalore is doing good in the community. They used to contact me for getting mentors from my office and for funding. The interest shown in getting mentors made me happy to know that they are really concerning about their students to get quality guidance..
My present placement as Director Finance & Administration was done through Third Sector Partners. I found them very much unique as they helped coordinated me and helped me at all stages of this recruitment process till I got the final offer letter. That has been very helpful and I never have experienced this kind of professionalism.
Registration and job posting is simple. And we have successfully recruited a suitable candidate for the position. What more can one expect :-)
I am proud to say that i am a part of Katayst Program. The program and the mentors have guided me in every single step towards my career.
Third Sector Partner’s mission, “Every Good Deed Deserves Every Good Leader” endeavors to fill the void which has plagued the development sector for many years: quality leadership in top management positions able to influence change. The profits TSP creates are hived back into its home grown initiative “Katalyst” which, in keeping with the spirit of “commitment to core competencies in service of the society”, helps identify talented girls from underprivileged communities and gives them a chance of good life through education, personality development and life skills by enhancing their employability by supporting their higher and professional education. Katalyst hopes to staff the world of future management with women leaders of substance, so that none of this becomes the privilege of a few. Our mission is ensue that the to the domain of talent and leadership search becomes inclusive, self-sustaining and almost a movement. I came in contact with the TSP through their programe to support the meritorious girl stududents from weak financial background. I was very much impressed by their honest and dedicated field staff wo were eager to support the girlstudents to buildup a confidance in them to become a professional. The program offers the students all sort of help and training programmes to groom their professional career so that in turn these girl students can support their own family members by standing on their own feet. As the programme was related with girl students initially I was cautious to get involved but when I was fully convinced I started offering all sort of help as faculty member in my institute COEP. This a third year of this programe in our institute and students on this programme are showing excellent academic achievements as they are well taken careof through professional counciling as well as through a mentor program. Students in this programme are eager to take full advantage of the support to develope their professional career. This program is run by the professionals who take the inspration through their thought "they owe some thing to the society and specifically to their mothers who inspired them to do best in the profession". I sincerely appriciate and salute the team members of the TSP program. The buety of this programe is that every individual on this program is monitored and groomed on one to one basis through a well trained field staff. I specifically mention the efforts taken by Mrs. Anjali Hari who works as a Project Manager for this program. Through her constant efforts, professional skills, inspration and followup with the TSP benificiaries has certainly helped this program to grow and develope. S. R. Sathe
For the last few months I have been teaching a group of girls in the college of engineering Pune on Saturday evenings. It has given me an opportunity to contribute to society and most importantly equip these girls with a few skills that will help them differentiate.I am also mentoring one of the students in the group.
A former colleague and friend of mine had told Third Sector Partners about me in 2008. Sometime in the middle of last year they got in touch with me regarding a job placement with a NGO based at Shimla. However though I was interested in the job as it fitted my qualifications and experience I could not shift base from Delhi. This year around a month back Third Sector Partners contacted me again regarding a vacancy in a reputed NGO working on rural development. They have been extremely helpful to me and we are now in the final stages of this particular job application. I am keeping my fingers crossed and do hope that I get selected. If that happens all credit will go to Third Sector Partners for having recommended my name for this particular opening. I wish them all the best as their contribution will help many development professionals like me to get jobs in the NGO sector.
Katalyst is doing a great job in mentoring young girls who will someday be working professionals. It not only helps the mentee but also gives mentors like me a sense of responsibility in their development. Our country needs many such Kalalysts.
I found the whole process of short listing , fixing interviews and arranging logistics, extremely well handled and there was a human touch about it. At every stage , there was consideration for my constraints and pre arranged schedules and effort made to overcome these hurdles. There was a human touch to the interaction. There were at times, too many phone calls, but looking back, my experience was warm and extremely cordial. In my case, I was not the candidate selected by the party, and I felt that this news was broken rather too abruptly ; however it is entirely possible that there was no better way to communicate this kind of awkward news.
third sector partners is a truly professional organization. I liked the long discussions that they had with us to understand the HR requirement. through out the assignment, TSP kept to the schedule that they had submitted to us. The shortlisted list of candidates was amazingly good and TSP had done a real good job in terms of being able to source the CVs from across the industry.
I felt in the brief interaction which is about a year and a half is that that their providing opportunities to the their candidates are less as compared to the other consultants.
We are currently being served by TSP to recruit staff. The coordination and support from the organisation to help us in the process has been very good. The response to our advertisement has also been satisfactory.
I am pleased to say that Third Sector Partners have been extremely helpful and supportive in the whole process, Specially, Archana has been instrumental in getting things in place for the complete exercise. I am impressed by the way they work. Each bit of it was communicated, posted and informed regularly. Kudos to the team. Wishing one and all for everything. All the best. Regards, NEELKANT PANDHARE
I recently had interaction with Third Sector Partners Team. The thing that impressed me the most is their ability to match the requirement of the role/job and the competences of the candidates. They will never present a candidate to their client unless they are 100% sure about the suitability of the candidate. The time and genuine efforts which they put in the process is commendable. The other thing which I really appreciate is their coordinating skill at every stage of the recruitment process. Because of this personal experience, I would like to maintain strong positive relationship with Third Sector Partners team.
Been a part of katalyst group. The initiatives taken for women empowerment is indeed commendable. Could meet lot of enthusiastic hardworking girls . The cordination is well done. They make sure that the girls get the best in everything
Absolutely fantastic! TSP is a highly professional organization and they have always displayed their professionalism always. During my interaction with them (since end of 2008 till date) I have found them to be very prompt and sharp. The team is very compassionate about their work and very thoughtful about their clients, which is reflected during their interaction. One of the most appreciated aspect that was displayed by TSP staff member was that during the staff being on breaks / leave was available over phone and responded to all your requirements. TSP is the best nonprofit placement agency that I have come across in the world. All the best to them and I certainly hope that they continue to be the best!
