My Nonprofit Reviews

PSK
Review for Third Sector Partners, Mumbai, , India
TSP contacted me on the telephone as they were seeking a candiate for a senior position in a non-profit. Through the run in they kept in touch with me and gathered a good deal of information of my strengths and probably weaknesses. Although they were telephoning me frequently it was on the whole non-invasive and extremely cordial. I personally enjoyed talking to the young lady who was managing the selection process. Eventually I did not get selected for the job, but that was not a decision made by the TSP since they were facilitators. An organization like TSP can only take a horse to water it cannot make it drink.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Get them to bargain for some degree of committment or respect for their evaluation so that it cannot be just used as a fig leaf.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Transparency and earnestness
Ways to make it better...
They had some weightage given to their assessements in the final selection process, which they evidently did not have in the case I experienced.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Whether they can actually help in bringing transparency in a general culture in which it is in short supply
