I have been associated with Katalyst for nearly year now.I conduct trainings for the students both at Bangalore and Pune. There are many features that distinguish Katalyst from other programs offering similar services. Katalyst does not just stop at providing deserving girl students with monetary aid, they go ahead and try to fulfill all the needs of the students ; be it providing computers or internet connections or additional courses. Another important aspect that caught my attention is Katalyst’s endeavor to develop the overall personality of the girl child. They strive to achieve this through different personality development courses, communication skills workshops, field trips and interesting interactions with eminent people from all walks of life. Their idea of tying up each student with a mentor provides the student with the much needed personal guidance and help. Probably what makes each organization unique, is the people who are behind it.One of the reasons for Katalyst’s success seems to the extraordinary efforts of the program coordinators who go out of their way to help the students. Their stringent method of screening students ensures that only deserving students are provided the necessary financial support to study. My association with Katalyst has been a great learning experience for me. I wish them the very best and hope that the organization continues to reach out to more students in need over the next few years.
