As a local volunteer, who encounters many victims of child abuse, I greatly appreciate organizations like this who provide practical resources and activities. Children are often silent victims for many years, but empowering them gives them the strength and courage to not give up. I also find the children videos on JW.org particularly helpful in teaching children about predators and how to report them. The website can be translated into any language needed. I have attached the video frame for reference.

Review for STOMP Out Bullying , New York, NY, USA
As a victim of bullying since my pre-teens, who endured silently without support; I am painfully aware of the depression and worthlessness that comes from this ordeal. My heart bleeds for young ones who are growing up in the age of cyber bullying. I wish I could protect every young one from the painful and long-lasting aftereffects. I greatly appreciate organizations like this who provide support and resources to victims. As a volunteer, I have found the articles on JW.org to be very helpful for young ones to read, specifically the tab entitled “Teenagers”. I have included a few attachments of articles I find particularly helpful.
This post is meant for another organization as it states above.
Review for Community United Effort (CUE), Wilmington, NC, USA
As a first-time victim of homicide, I was unaware of the mental, emotional and physical toll that this life shattering event would take on me. I was unaware of the stages of true grief, and the different ways it would manifest. Guilt, depression, anxiety, fear, panic attacks were some of my many aftereffects. I’ve accepted that the pain never truly dissipates, but becomes a void in your heart that you can learn to live with. I am greatly appreciative of organizations like this who provides practical assistance to family of victims. I’ve also found comfort in knowing that evil and suffering will not exist forever because God promises to end it, although He is not the cause of our suffering.
Psalms 37
10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more;
You will look at where they were,
And they will not be there.+
11 But the meek will possess the earth,+
And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
My favorite website for understanding this hope and receiving comfort is JW.org.
May your heart be comforted and peace be found.
Sincerely,
A Brokenhearted Sister From Maryland
