Partners is an amazing organization that provides life changing free legal advice to victims of domestic and sexual violence. Not only do they provide protection for victims and their children, their work extends beyond the court room to advocate for systematic reform. I am amazed and inspired by the work Partners staff does to support victims.

They are a sham and refuse to provide me with any help despite the fact that I was beaten and raped for 16 years by my brother. After moving 3000 miles away from my rapist, 2 years ago he's come back in my life. As an attorney he's been using the legal system as a weapon against me. They have refused to provide any help for me and have been incredibly rude. I contacted the agency who recommended them and they promised they would never give out their info to any other victim. They are a disgusting agency that cares little for domestic violence victims.

Partners is a lifesaver for those in need. Their work not just in the courtroom but also in Trenton and the County Seats is helping to transform the conversation about domestic and sexual violence. I've had the pleasure of meeting many of these dedicated individuals and they are truly inspiring.

As a member of the Junior Advisory Board, I help organize events in order to fundraise and spread awareness of our important cause. I have been involved in planning a fundraising spin class and brunch, and I organized "dress down days" at work to benefit Partners. In addition to those events, I am honored to have volunteered at Partners' Spring Benefit for the past three years assisting guests with the raffle as well as both silent and live auctions. I am a longstanding support of Partners for Women & Justice, having first become involved as a pro bono attorney. I was at first surprised to learn that victims of domestic violence have to represent themselves in court. Partners provides lawyers to victims so that they don't have to face their abusers alone. I was also able to counsel clients on the many rights afforded them by our domestic violence law. Without a lawyer, the victims are left to the mercy of the court and the hope that they are assigned a judge who knows the law and will take the time to get it right. As an attorney for Partners I have been able to secure child support for victims, to require abusers to attend anger management counseling, to limit child visitation and require that it be supervised. Partners provided support to me along every step of the way, even providing free training and materials. Partners' attorneys make a real and lasting difference in the lives of their clients. This is a wonderful organization.
