My story starts with a little fella named Damien. I came to know him when his mom abandoned him in the hospital my son had no idea how to care for him. So I stepped in and got full custody f him. Im his moma Nana. He's been fighting for life since he was born July 3rd 2020. I've been fighting with him. He has brain pvl, rare gen disorder that causes seizures and autism. October the 7th he ended up in ICU having a 8 hour long seizure the doctors had to use all kinds of medication to get the seizure controlled. In the middle of having a seizure he quit breathing and they had to put him on a ventilator. I was so scared I was loosing my little angel. He fought and I stayed by his side. 48 hours no sleep. That Monday God gave him back to me. He started breathing on his own and the doctors took him off the ventilator. We stayed in the hospital most of October. He's recovering slowly at home now. I quit my job to focus on his health and needs more. So of course it's a struggle financially. My car isn't safe to drive anymore. Now a days there's no one really out to help one another. I was looking through Facebook and came across this foundation and I sent an email. The email didn't say it went through or anything. So I said I tried. Then I got a call out no where getting ready to go back to the hospital that said we got your email and we would like to help you out for Christmas. I didn't know what to say but cry because I was thinking no one really cares about what we are going through. But these people did and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for taking the time out and saying we are here to help.. even though we still don't have a Christmas tree I'm able to get him something when I wasn't able too. Thank you so much to everyone in this foundation. My heart goes out to everyone that makes this foundation a blessing to the children that have disorders. He's my little angel.
I would like to thanks ASDF for helping me with helping my Son Kendall who has Autism , Verbal and Social Anxiety. Senting him to special needs summer camp he's having a wonderful time being around his friends who he has met. Thank you so much for helping us making this happen. I'm very
Greatful, and appreciative. Thank you

This year has been rough due to Covid and if it weren’t for this organization and all their help it just wouldn’t be Christmas. Thank you for all that you do we greatly appreciate it. Having kiddos on the spectrum makes shopping for gifts a little harder therefore more expensive, if it weren't for all that this organization does we could not afford the gifts that help them.

I want to let everyone know that the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation is such a huge help to families. I am a single mom with 2 children with autism and thanks to their holiday program I will be able to give my son's a Christmas. My older son was so excited when he received his ipad yesterday! He no longer has to share one with his younger brother who uses the ipad everyday given his complex needs. Given their needs, I have not been able to work with covid and virtual schooling. They truly have the children's best interest at heart and understand the challenges and their needs. Please support them so they can continue to do their amazing work. They are an organization to be admired and supported.

It has been very challenging to work due to COVID while doing virtual schooling for the boys since my 5th grader needs me to sit with him all day to get the mandatory schoolwork done. Please support this foundation so they can help more families and give the families a reprieve from the daily challenges.

Thank you so much to the generosity of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation my 5 year old son was able to get an IPad that we will be using for further developing his speech. His speech therapist had recommended a communication software that is used on the iPad. We are very excited to see how much this will enhance his language and speech therapy. Thank you for all the work you do to help kids on the Autism spectrum. Thank you to all who donate to this foundation to make these much needed awards make a difference in many families lives.
First of all telling a lot of people about this organization! Not trying to give pressure, but this organization should be more well known! Love how easy the process is! Love the options given! We received an iPad for our 7 year old son. He is non verbal and he relies on a communication app on an iPad to communicate. The gift of an iPad is like giving him the gift of "speech" to him. We are beyond blessed to have received this important tool!! He will use it for years to come!
My daughter received her iPad the other day in the mail, and we were surprised as we were not expecting it so quickly. It could not have come at a better time!! She was missing her family terribly as these holidays are so different, and they live so far away. We were able to set up the iPad and show her how to use it to surprise FaceTime them. She was BEAMING to see them and interact with them as she does not like things being so different from her normal routine. We will be able to use this for music therapy, social stories, school, seeing family, coloring, and so much more! We are so thankful to those who have made this happen. You have no idea how much this has blessed our family and our daughter. Words cannot express our gratitude!!

I am so grateful for this program. My son Skyler is 13 and was diagnosed with autism at nearly 3. He was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes as well. This iPad gift means so much to him due to the fact he’s been asking for one since earlier this year. I’m a single mother to two wonderful sons ages 13 and 11 and although I do all I can for them as a mother should. Ive had two total knee replacement surgeries in the past 5 months due to severe arthritis. I’m grateful to everyone and all organizations that made the iPad a reality for my Skyler. He is over the moon filled with excitement. Love you all.

We were gifted an ipad for our son who was recently diagnosed with ASD Andover are beyond thankful! He has always preferred electronics for learning and the unexpected changes that Covid has brought on for him starting kindergarten this year have been challenging for a child that needs routine. We wouldn’t have been able to get him one this year if it weren’t for ASDF.

I want to start by thanking this organization for gifting an iPad to my son, Aamir. He just turned 3 and was recently diagnosed with ASD. It has been a struggle to find support especially during the pandemic so this organization has been the silver lining to this year. We cannot wait to see his expression when he opens this on Christmas. You all have really made a difference in our lives and we thank you.

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation helped better my sons life by providing him with an iPad to help him communicate. My son is 9 years old and is non verbal and has level 3 autism. He had the older iPad that he used Proloquo2go on to communicate but it broke and stopped working causing him to use our phones and get frustrated with a smaller screen. Due to covid 19 my husband and I were both out of work and struggling to find a way to provide a new iPad for our son. That’s when I found this organization and reached out. They responded quickly and were so helpful in providing the information needed to get this going. I applied for the iPad program and the director Michael Slutsky was so quick in replying and helping us get the iPad. I wasn’t expecting it to come so early and my son was beyond excited to see he had a new iPad he could use! What an amazing organization! Thank you for making a difference for our family. We hope to be able to donate and give back as soon as we get back to work in order to help provide the same joy that was given to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I’m a single mother on disability for a spinal cord injury and money has been extremely tight. I have saved every penny to make my son’s Christmas the best, however, I was going to have to pick whether I eat or does my son have a wonderful day... it’s especially important this year since after 6 years of OT, ABA, speech and ECE my son is finally able to understand what Christmas is! I’ve been able to form a bond that I didn’t think would ever exist. The donation of the gift card gave me the ability to help give my son a wonderful day filled with toys he wants and asked for (actually wrote a letter to Santa!) please consider your donation for ASDF! I wouldn’t of been able to make things work out like they did without the help! I’m so thrilled to have been blessed!

We are completely grateful for the gift card we have received. This gift card will assist us with daily needs as well as a few Christmas items for my 9 year old ASD daughter. We have had an extremely challenging year on top of the pandemic and due to the loss of income I have been struggling to make ends meet. Thank you sooo much and also making it a fairly easy process to apply for the help!

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has been a HUGE blessing for me and my daughter. I am a single mom and on a very tight budget. When I contacted ASDF last summer to see if they could help out a little with my daughter's preschool tuition so we could keep her in a neurotypical peer environment they replied with an hour and said they'd pay the entire monthly amount for the entire school year! To say we were blessed is an understatement. Their financial assistance has given my daughter an amazing school experience. She has learned so much from her peers and has LOVED school! She even graduated from speech therapy after 2 years! Thank you so much ASDF!

I’m super thankful for ASDF! This is the second year they have assisted with ABA Summer Camp for my son Kenden. This year they covered the entire cost of camp! I’m a single Mommie of two, without their help I couldn’t afford camp. Camp helps Kenden keep a routine, prepares him for the upcoming school year, and mostly importantly he has the opportunity to have a fun summer! ASDF thanks again for your generosity and support for Kenden!

We are very grateful for Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation's support in this difficulty time. As a single Mom with a child with ASD, life can't be predictable at times. However, it hit us even harder with Covid-19 and laid-off from job. While praying, we had positive response from Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and was granted full financial aid for summer camp as they will oepn with precautions. Without this help, I wouldn't be able to start a new job this summer and my child won't be able to enjoy interacting with others. I can't thank enough! I have immense gratitude to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for their assistance with son Kendrick. Ken is 4 years old. The scholarship the foundation provided allowed Kendrick the opportunity to participate in the summer enrichment session at his preschool. Due to his ASD it is extremely essential for him to be continuously involved in environments with his peers that stimulate his engagement and communication. The summer enrichment session provides Ken with the educational support and structure in addition to therapies critical during this developmental stage in his life to help him learn and communicate. This support has provided him with an opportunity to be exposed to an educational environment to stimulate, excel, and advance on multiple levels during the summer.
There are still struggles as we continue this journey, which will require even more support since my wife’s passing. As a single father of two I continuously focus to navigate through strategies for Kendrick’s therapies and ways to help regulate his complex emotions and sensory challenges. This scholarship was incredibly supportive in filling a gap that my income and salary cannot meet. It is truly essential contribution to ensuring the best quality of life and development for my son.

My son received a wonderful surprise this holiday season, an iPad from ASDF! While he is interacting and displaying notable talent with its music composing, keyboard and drums/percussion features, I am using it to facilitate his social communication and problem solving skill development through direct teaching using mobile technology. The iPad now allows me to follow through with the information, guidance and use and App recommendations I received from social skill experts during a parent workshop. Some of social communication app recommendations include: The Room, Lets Be Social, My School Day, Social Detective and Machinarium. We have the deepest gratitude for having received important support from ASDF during our solution-seeking journey to improve our quality of life. Thank you ASDF!

My son is 10 years old recently diagnosed high functioning on the spectrum alongside combined ADHD presentation. He experiences a gap between his high abilities and his deficits. Up until 3rd grade, he achieved fairly well academically (with a lot of home support) despite cognitive learning differences. His high sensory/sensitivities, delayed balance, gross motor skill and spatial coordination, and impulsivity are the source of his social challenges.
While in water (as a form of “aqua therapy" ), he has always experienced tremendous relief for his condition relieving anxiety, expending pent up energy and ameliorating sleep/wake cycle/disturbances. In addition, his physician prescribed swimming as part of his treatment program. Since an infant, being in water – whether the pool or bath – noticeably improves his quality of life. Knowing this, I reached out to ASDF for a scholarship in sending him to a summer swim program while our insurance provider continued to delay providing for a medically-prescribed activity. We are extremely grateful for ASDF’s support. Mr. Slutsky was incredibly responsive, and my son began his swim program immediately. He is already thriving within the first two weeks of participating under the guidance of trained/certified coaches who have become a part of the solution to a better quality of life. Providing for programs that positively impact the lives of children on the spectrum is incredibly important, and can become very challenging to locate and secure. With their support, ASDF turned a challenging situation into a solution, immediately improving the quality of life for my son. ASDF has made a huge difference, and we are extremely grateful to be able to move forward with their support.

Our family is so grateful for the assistance that Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation provided our family by gifting a new iPad to my son. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has been a wonderful partner of Autism Pensacola for years! This Christmas season, the ASDF was able to provide 32 holiday gift cards to children and adults living with autism in Northwest Florida. Many of the recipient families are on fixed incomes which makes it near possible to help provide their child with the things they need during the holiday season. The ASDF has greatly impacted each recipient family by not only providing the holiday gift card, but also giving them hope which is priceless. This foundation has been such a blessing for our family. We are a single income home and have two biological children on the spectrum and recently became foster parents of a child on the spectrum. Our son is completely non verbal so being able to be a part of the ipad program has been a crucial part in helping develop his language skills. In the past we have also been a part of the gift card program. This program also makes a huge difference in what we can do for our kids for christmas. We truly appreciate everything this organization does for people in need. Thank you for making Christmas less of a stressful thing and more enjoyable for our kids.

My son Zane is 11 with severe non verbal autism and back in October I signed up for an ipad and in November he got an ipad mini. I was surprised because I have signed up at bigger nonprofits at autism speaks several times and never got anything. My son is very happy with his new ipad. I could not have afforded to buy this myself and very grateful for asdf. What a blessing they are to my family.
I came across the ASDF after hearing about their iPad program for children of autism. My 4 year old son was officially diagnosed on the spectrum earlier this year. Prior to his diagnosis, we took proactive measures and used an older iPad (2nd gen) I once used to help him develop his speech and writing skills with the help of local therapists. This worked adequately until the iPad started showing its age and we could no longer use it effectively. While we were able to continue his therapy, it did slow down the progress he was making. I was prepared to buy a second hand iPad that wasn't the latest but that would have gotten us along with the minimal standards and keep us within our budget. A local autism family support group recommended we make a request through ASDF. We filled out the application and received a reply via email within a few days asking us to submit our child's official ASD diagnosis. We understood ahead of time that there would be plenty of others making similar requests and that it would be several months before we received a final response. In the meantime, we continued working hard with our son who has made great strides in his therapy sessions. Then I received an email from ASDF that my son will be receiving his iPad by the end of the week! Just a week shy of his 5th birthday! This particular iPad is Apple Pencil capable which means, we will be able to ramp up his writing therapy at home or wherever we need to be that day now. I am so grateful for what Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation is doing for my son and others who were able to receive their iPads. This technology makes the difference between walking and running a race. Autism will always be a part of who my son is but through this program, it will help him integrate with his peers and allow him to develop at a quicker pace so he's not left behind.
Please consider giving ASDF your support by helping them continue to donate iPads to children of autism. It will be a sound investment in their future.
Thank you Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for the IPAD For Christmas 2019 & Thank you to all the donors, because without you this wouldn't be possible. What you do for people is wonderful. My family is very grateful and our son is going to be so excited Christmas morning! GOD BLESS YOU❣
My Family and I would like to take a moment to give thanks and show our deepest appreciation to The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation Inc for assisting with funds to provide our son Jacob with Aquatics Therapy. We were blessed to have found The ASD Foundation on the "autism speaks" website. At that time, our son had completed a PT evaluation and was highly recommended to receive PT even though he has no physical disabilities. Once we contacted The ASD Foundation, they really showed importance and were very caring in trying to assist our son to receive Aquatics therapy. Once we put them in contact with Swim Angel Fish who would provide the Aquatics Therapy, The ASD Foundation made the transaction very easy and friendly to make sure that our son would be covered for his Aquatics Therapy. We hope and pray that, The ASD Foundation can continue to assist families with special needs children for many years to come. Because of foundations like this one, it provides families with such support and hope that we can help our special needs children to make all the necessary progress. Thank you so much! from the bottom of our hearts.

I am director of two organizations in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I am so very grateful for the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. The School where I am Executive Director has relied repeatedly on this organization to fill the gap with students' families face unexpected crises that hit their budget hard. Because of this organization, I have been able to tell many families that their child can continue in school because we know where to seek help. Because of ASDF many students have been able to have the kind of summer services that allow them to continue to learn and grow and develop during the long summer months. The other organization that I direct has summer camps and respite services for families. Many children who do not have the means to pay for summer camps where they work on critical social, communication and life skills are able to attend. I am so proud to be associated with this organization. Again and again, they have stepped up for the families I serve and they have allowed me to be in a position to use all the resources available to them to help their children reach their full potential.

My daughter is 15 years old and has autism with ADHD and Bi-polar disorder. She is an only child and struggles with making friends. Since she is 15 there are not summer camp programs for her age. She was staying with a family member for the day who was not able to take her on outings during the summer. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation provided payment for her to attend a week of summer camp for kids on the spectrum. She was able to make friends and enjoy a fun filled week of activities. Due to our struggles of paying for her specialty treatments this would not have been possible.
She was able to gain self-confidence skills and feel totally normal for a full week of her life. She loved Camp Lakey Gap in Black Mountain, NC and has expressed returning next year if possible. She came home with a glow we had never seen before. At camp she felt able to be herself around other campers who struggled with the same issues.
When I say this was the happiest week of her life I really mean it because these were her exact words.
Children with Autism do not get to share many happy moments in their social lives because they view themselves as different and are often treated different by peers. When they are able to come together for fun events they enjoy each other and the time they spend together.
Thank you so much for this life changing event in our lives. We are beyond grateful.

My family and I are very grateful to receive a camp grant for our daughter in Maryland. Camp has made a big impact on her life and ours. The counselors at the camp are from different countries and all show patience and empathy towards the campers. Special thanks to Mr Slutsky and Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for making this experience happen and also extremely successful for our daughter. She returned home each day with many stories to tell, new friends made, and her adventures with nature. Thank you again!

Our family is so incredibly thankful to the Autism Spectrum Foundation for their assistance. I am the single mom of two amazing little boys, both of whom happen to have multiple medical needs. My older son has an autism diagnosis as well as multiple medical issues. He has been referred for many therapies including speech/language, OT, PT and equine therapies. Many of his medical expenses are not fully covered by insurance, and we have a lot of expenses due to having to travel, sometimes hundreds of miles, to his specialists appointments. My son relates well with animals and benefits immensely from equine therapy. I am not able to continue paying out of pocket for this very beneficial therapy. We were blessed to receive a grant from Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, Inc. to cover his equine assisted therapy services and have seen so much progress through these services, progress that I do not believe we would have seen otherwise. Thank you.

My daughter attends camp over the summer through Aaron’s Acres. They provide a excellent program for children and young adults with special needs. We are able to attend this program with the help of financial support. The scholarship money received from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has allowed our daughter to have a great summer experience through camp at Aaron’s Acres. We are forever grateful for the support that is provided as camp is her favorite part of her summer. It also allows us as parents the peace of mind to know she is having a good time and in great hands.

Finding ways to create typical experiences can seem a hurdle too high sometimes. However, with assistance from ASDF our son is able to attend his first overnight camp. He has spoken nonstop of his excitement in being able emulate what he sees on tv. We are ecstatic that he will be creating lifelong memories; socializing and building confidence. We could not have done this without ASDF, we are so grateful.

Thank you to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for making it possible for my son to attend Camp Yakety Yak this year. It is a wonderful blessing having an organization such as yours help children with special needs attend camps that will teach children the skills and tools they need to flourish as they grow. Thank you!
The assistance from ASDF has led to a meaningful life for my son. His funding was for job and cognitive coaching so he could learn the skills to participate on a job search for potential employment. This must be taught by a provider that understands individuals on the autism spectrum and their language and soft skill challenges. This finding assistance will enable my son to b come part of his community which he deserves th right to. Meaningful inclusion is very important to our children’s well being, self esteem and mental health. Leaning does not end when school ends. Thank you ASDF for providing the desperately needed funding.

I tried to get a ipad for my autistic son. But I was to late for it so instead they sent me a Walmart gift card for 100$ . I took that card and got my son a water table cuz its summer time. And also was able to get alittle food in the house. Witch was also a big help. As im a low income family every little bit counts. So id like to thank all of u at autism speaks. U helped us out so much. And I also helped them out as I started a fundraiser for my sons 2nd birthday. Total amount was 200$ but only could come up w 170$ but its still something. So thank you all.

I have been so worried about how to teach my Autistic son to swim, I thought it would never happen until I reached out to the foundation! They were so nice, and the entire process was simple! I wish to thank them as well as the donors involved, if it wasn't for the compassion of others, many people like myself would find very few options! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Hi,
I would like to thank the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for my son's new iPad. His ABA therapist at BASS reached out to you guys and you responded so quickly! This donation will help GREATLY as he enters Kindergarten and it will be used as his voice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Our son is almost 14 years old and is diagnosed with high functioning autism. We reached out to ASDF to ask
for help to send him to summer camp. The program we found is amazing and due to the generosity of ASDF, our son
will have a fun summer experience. The expense of summer programming for kids on the spectrum is usually high and we rely on scholarships and help. Our son is often rigid and afraid to try new things but he is supported and encouraged to step out of his box, make new friends and try something new. He LOVES the camp and thrives over the summer engaged in things which every child should have the opportunity to experience. We are so grateful to ASDF and Mr Slutsky for making this come true for our son and our family. This agency is sensitive and responsive when many others are not. Someday I hope to be able to give back to help another child.

A special thank you for this wonderful organization and Mr. Slutsky for making this scholarship available to my family and to other families out there who live in our world. Our 7-year old son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum 2 years ago and it has been a struggle finding a camp that can meet his needs yet also meet our limited financial resources. I thank God that I stumbled across the ASDF website as there is no way we could send our son to the social skills camp we were told about by our son's occupational therapist. We appreciate you Mr. Slutsky and hope that we can return the favor in kind!
Stay tuned for Part 2 of this review after he finishes camp in August!

Their application process is simple, but thorough, and they’re incredibly fast and responsive. My ASDF is an amazing non-profit foundation for families with a loved one on the autism spectrum. Thank you ASDF and all of it's supporters that help families like ours!
I am a single mother of four. Holidays are often very gloomy for us. We don’t have a lot of family and it puts stress on the family we do have to try and get gifts for everyone. Syrenitee has had an amazing Christmas because of the kindness of this organization and it’s sponsors. We hope to eventually get her an iPad so we can download her pragmatic skills apps onto it to teach her better social skills! Without the help from this organization we wouldn’t be able to do things like this for our children. All four of my kids are on the spectrum. It is very expensive for us, and we are very grateful for you all!

This particular organization actually helps autistic people in general as a whole with the mission to improve the lives of families affected by autism.
The IPad program has brought smart home technology that has truly made such a meaningful experience for my sons, Roger Lee, Isaic Benton and My king Hunt.
The apps that my son play on a regular to what seems like all day with the exception of school and Aba tberapy had encouraged them to be educated with daily living skills and social skills.
I will be sharing my one and only non profit's EIN Number world wide to encourage others to contribute consistent donations that will in return advance the learning of children faced with every day challenges on the spectrum.
Donate Today! Be a Blessing and change someone's life for the better.

This is Gabriel, I stumbled upon this profit when I was searching for ways to make his Christmas special. He was diagnosed at the early age of 2, he is now 3 and starting to make progress. With my husband being military we aren’t able to go home this Christmas and wanted to make his Christmas extra special. Receiving this gift card for $100 has made such a difference for us and him and we know he will love all his gifts. We look forward to being able to donate in the near future and help other families the way it has helped us.
My son is 6 years old, severely autistic and non-verbal. I accidentally found this non-profit on google. I knew nothing about them but knew I needed help buying my child a Christmas gift, so I decided to apply. Michael immediately reached out to me to let me know my son was placed on the wait list for a gift card and if funds were available, they would consider sending him a card preloaded with $100 from either target or Walmart. I honestly figured funds wouldn’t available and he wouldn’t get the gift card. However the gift card unexpectedly arrived in the mail just a few weeks afterwards. I immediately went to Walmart and purchased some educational toys for him to use during his in home aba therapy sessions. I am very grateful of this wonderful gift and would encourage any company to donate to this non-profit! Doing what you can to ensure a child has Christmas gifts is an awesome thing to do! I will never forget this generous act of kindness!

I have 2 son's and my youngest has Autism, IDD and mental illness. He is 15 years old but functions around 9 or 10. I have my own medical issues and the only income in the home is my son's SSI. I contacted many local organizations for Christmas help and due to his age I could not find any assistance. I contacted the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and was immediately contacted by Michael Slutsky. The only information he asked me for was proof of my son's diagnosis of Autism. He contacted me immediately and told me my son was added to the list for a $100 Gift card. I was very excited because my son doesn't understand that I didn't have money for the holidays. My son has been doing gymnastics in the yard and has been asking for a Trampolinee for almost 2 years. With the $100 Walmart Gift card I received yesterday I was able to purchase him a Trampoline. I am very thankful to the Autism Spectrum Foundation for their support and assistance. They gave my family the opportunity to have a wonderful Christmas. My son will be able to receive the gift he has wanted for 2 years. Thank you very much and I am forever grateful to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation.

Hello I wanted to Thank you so much for the Wal mart gift card. I'm a mother with two children with special needs. This will help me get my son Bernard who's on the Autism Spectrum a great Christmas gift. Thank you again and God Bless you.
I want to thank ASDF from the bottom of my heart. It has been such a rough year for my family. My son was diagnosed with ASD in Sept. this year, at 4 years and 9 months old. I am learning everyday new ways to connect and support him. Without the proper tools this can be very challenging. He is verbal but his use of language is not functional all of the time. We get into verbal loops and this causes frustration on his end that always results in meltdowns. This gift card gives him the opportunity to get some of the items I just could not provide for him. I just received the gift card yesterday and have yet to buy him anything. My plans are to utilize every penny to its fullest and get him everything I have been researching that will help. He just started school (4days a week, 3 hrs a day). They use a lot of pictures to communicate instead of relying on words. I have yet to master this but trying to incorporate as much as I can. I have never been on the receiving end of anything in my lifetime, I honestly did not think my son would even get the gift card even after it was confirmed by email. I am still in shock and extremely grateful. I still do not have a tree to put up, I had hoped I could get my broken one to magically work again this year but it just will not stay up. It is a tough spot to either choose a tree or presents. Could not afford to do both. I hope now I will be able to get a tree and put it up for him. He loves the lights when we go out at night, so I just know he will love the tree all decorated and put up. Thank you so very much for this. Words just can not explain what it means to just know that your child will wake up to even a single present on Christmas.
When my fiancée lost his 95k/yr job in July, I immediately jumped to Christmas in my head and started worrying. He was out of work for 4 months...every bill we had was behind...EVERY SINGLE ONE. I knew that once he started working again, I wouldn’t be able to catch up in time to provide my daughters with their normal Christmas. So, I looked for help. Christmas was effectively cancelled. Today I received a Walmart gift card in the mail from ASDF. It’s like a huge weight has been lifted and I know at least something will be under the tree. Christmas is back on!!!!
I just want to thank the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for helping me and my son this year for Christmas. I don't know what I would do without them or I wouldn't know how to give my son a Christmas this year without the Gift Card Program and the card will provide food and toys for me and my son this year for Christmas. It really is nice to know that this organization cares and understands millions of people struggles during this time, and has the compassion to help. Thanks so much for all you do. I am so grateful. Have a Happy Holiday ASDF.
Im a single mother of 3 and recently had to take time off from work to keep up with all the therapy and appointments my 4 year old autistic son Elijah has. ASDF assisted me with a gift card to purchase Christmas items for Elijah. This Is Elijah’s first year of being aware of Christmas and requesting toys so it really means a lot. Not to mention this time last year he was non verbal. I really appreciate this foundation and look forward to giving back!

This child was Estreya or Bella, as we call her. Bella was using an IPad for both the applications specifically for autism (and speech) as well as to calm down when the world became overwhelming however, the IPad quit working that same month and we could not afford to fix or replace it. Bella and her mother loved to interact and play some of the games that were on the IPad and losing both the same month was very hard for her. I contacted the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and this month, they sent us an IPad for Bella! What was even more special was that her mother passed away on December 18 and Bella's birthday is December 12, so this generous donation was a combination Birthday and Christmas gift. It made Bella so happy to have something that both reminded her of happier times with her mother and will help her in learning how to better communicate. Being that she will turn eleven on December 12, she was getting very frustrated at trying to let people know what she wanted. This gift is life changing for her and for us! I cannot begin to express how much this gift means! We will be forever grateful to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for helping this little girl have a chance to a better life!
Sincerely, Cheryl Trujillo

Michael and his staff could not be any easier to work with, they were very clear with what their capabilities were and even quicker supplying our family with an iPad for our three-year-old son with autism who has difficulty communicating. His iPad calms him down when he gets worked up, is allowing him to learn words in a manner easier than traditional teaching, and better allows him to share how he feels. We are extremely grateful to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for their generosity.
This organization is wonderful. They are patient and so kind. As a single mother to a ten year old boy with autism the use of an iPad implanted into daily life will be great! I have downloaded some social skills apps, communication apps, and educational apps that will hopefully make a difference in his life. He struggles in many areas of life especially when not at home with peers. Thank you so much for all of the help that you gave us.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation Inc has been amazing to my family. My son was diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and several other diagnosis and is currently 4 years old. He has very sporadic speech, maybe 20 words or so on a good day. I heard about Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation Inc from a Facebook group I am in where another mother talked about the iPad she got for her son as a speech device. I contacted ASDFI and told them our story, and was told that if the funds were available, they would be able to provide my son the iPad he needs. Just a month later, the iPad showed up in the mail. It's been such a huge blessing, and being a family with 2 special needs kids, we were not able to afford one on our own. When the time comes that we have extra money, we are going to pay it forward and donate to ASDFI.

My son is on the autism spectrum and struggles with social skills and communication which impacts not only peer interaction but also his academic ability. Thanks to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, I am overjoyed to be able to provide my son with the assistive technology that he needs. This gift will help bridge the gap and allow him to communicate more effectively, show his abilities, promote social growth, and help him keep up academically with his peers. Thank you so much!
With extreme gratitude,

I'm a single mom with a 5 year old daughter who is Autistic. I had heard the benefits of ipad use with kiddos on the spectrum but had no room in my budget for that type of purchase. ASDF blessed us by providing this gift to us and my daughter loves it! We use it as a reward system and my daughter has responded really well to using the ipad. It's also a quick way to derail an approaching meltdown. It's an awesome tool to supplement her education and help her increase her ability to communicate. I'm so grateful for ASDF and all that they do!

We received such a wonderful blessing from ASDF. It greatly helped with his communication, anxiety, behavioral optometry, focus, his emotional well being and helped to supplement his education. It also helped to calm him when he is in sensory overload. His mood was very low and his behavior had changed. He has benefited from having an ipad in so many ways. This program is amazing!

My son is a kiddo on the Autism Spectrum. We heard so much about the benefits of an ipad for children on the spectrum. We tried to figure out the means to purchase one, when I heard from a friend whose child is also on the spectrum, about Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. This Foundation is truly a blessing. It is definitely helping with behavior skills, education and communication and we are looking for other ways that will benefit him. We are truly grateful for the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. If we hand ten thousand tongue we coud not thank them enough.

This foundation is so wonderful. I have students that are severely autistic and they depend on iPad devices to communicate. With the donations the foundation provided my students with iPads to help them with communication at home.
I am a single dad with a severely autistic daughter who is non verbal. Without this organization I have no idea honestly what I would have done. In the past my daughter used an IPad to communicate using an app called Proloq2Go. Her iPad over time stopped working because it was outdated and the IOS would not update. For several years my daughter has no had her iPad because I simply could not afford to buy one. My daughter has so many medical bills that I probably would have never been able to afford one. We did borrow one from a local loaning closet, for a month, but they took it back over a year ago. Since then we went back to P.E.C.S. I have cut pictures out for months and she usually gets so frustrated before she finds what she wants to say then she starts banging her head on the walls until her head bleeds. Without her iPad she has no voice and her behaviors go through the roof. I can’t blame her though. I have tried to only go one day in my daughters shoes. I tried to not say a single word to anyone just to experience the struggle she endures every single day. I honestly couldn’t do it. I got so frustrated as well. Thanks to this organization my daughter was blessed today with not just an iPad, but she was given her voice! I can’t put into words how thankful I am to them. This is a priceless gift that I will forever grateful for. Thank you Michael, Jan, and all the donators for giving my daughter and many other children with autism a voice.
My son has attended Camp for the last six years. He looks forward to it every year. He loves being able to go somewhere, where he can be himself and just have fun. This camp is about making sure every kid can have a camp experience. We can't wait until next year.

I want to thank Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation Inc. for their generous contribution to Camp Odakoda. I have been a counselor at Camp Odakoda since 2013. It is an incredible place, for kids on the spectrum, to come and be themselves, have fun and make connections with other kids. I am so thankful for kind organizations such as theirs who make such a huge impact not only on the campers but on the families of these children and counselors as well. Thank you for your support!!! We could not do what we do with out you!

My son has attended camp Odakoda for two years in a row. This is such a special camp. Every child with Autism should have the opportunity to attend a camp where they get to feel normal. That is Camp Odakoda! Thank you for supporting campers who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial hardship. What a gift you have given not only that child but that family.

Our son had never been to camp before this year, he'd spent no more than 2 nights away from home ever and he'd really struggled in group settings in the past, so we were anxious about him going to camp for several days/nights. To our surprise, he wasn't too anxious about the idea himself and actually looked forward to it. He had a great time, and he wasn't ready for it to end when I picked him up. It was cool how they had so many options of different things for kids to do according to their own individual tastes. They really do an amazing job of cultivating an environment where ASD kids can relax without pressure and just have fun and go nuts. I'm so glad we overcame our own anxieties about sending him off. It was a great experience all around.

Dear ASDF,
Thank you very much for your generous support of our sons, Daniel and Joshua. Camp Yakety Yak is an annual piece of the developmental processes for our whole family. Thank you for assisting us in being able to get our boys to camp! We are grateful!
-Posted by Camp Yakety Yak on behalf of client
Despite receiving a ranking of zero stars from Charity Navigator, ASDF does manage to provide $500 scholarships every year to children attending Camp Yakety Yak, a "reverse-inclusion" daycamp in Oregon. These scholarships are crucial in helping families to pay for the camp, which (due to the need to hire specialists to work with the campers) costs significantly more than other local daycamps.
Thank you for the support of our children. Our kids both went to Camp Yakety Yak this summer. Both enjoyed the chance to be with other students and not worry about their special needs. The counselors were kind and patient and knowledgeable. Both my children had a chance to share their interests and to lead groups of students in activities, both big steps for them. Perhaps the best way to share the goodness is that both of them want to go back next year and to work their way into being counselors themselves. Thank you for the donation and support of CYY, our children and all children. It truly makes a difference in all of our lives.
Thank you so much for providing scholarship opportunities for Camp Yakety Yak! We are so appreciative for the experience our child had this year at camp, as a result of receiving tuition assistance!
My son received a scholarship to Camp Yakety Yak. They work so well with him, and he just loves the experience. We couldn't have made it without ASDF's help.
I cannot say THANK YOU enough to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation.
Casey’s Healing Hooves Equine Assisted Therapy was founded to serve civilian and military children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Equine-assisted Activity participants are diagnosed with a variety of conditions. With a scholarship grant provided from ASD we were able to provide 5 underprivileged families who have children diagnosed with Autism a full scholarship to participate in our program.

I have two daughters with autism spectrum. they're home schooled and so don't get many opportunities to socialize and be around other children with medical condition similar. I heard about camp i am special from their therapist office and so I put an application in. I later found out the camp was overnight for 6 days and nights and the tuition was high. I almost lost faith in this opportunity for the girls to experience camp. I prayed hard and continuing seeking any solution to make this happen for them. I reached out to Autism spectrum foundation inc. and was overjoyed at their response to help us make the camp happen for the girls! I was at a loss for words, all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart. the experience has opened so many new doors for us and the girls surely had the experience to impact them for a lifetime! Thank you so very much !! My main hope is this organization can resume for eternity paving the way to these opportunities for our precious angels.

This foundation has helped our family get the financial assistance we needed so that my little man could go to Kids for Camp this summer. This camp has kept my son learning and growing in between school years and has also allowed him to make friends and have so much fun in the process! None of which would have been possible for us if it wasn't for the generous donations given to Autism Pensacola so that my son, and others like him could enjoy their summers together at Kids for Camp. Thank you Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation! We are so grateful for all that you've done and continue to do.

Help above and beyond what I could have ever imagined! I still get tears in my eyes remembering reading the email that day! Our family has been through a lot in the past year. In the mist of our mess Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation blessed us so very much. My husband has been off work since July of last year. He finally recieved a diagnosis earlier this year of a rare disorder. Our son is on the Autism Spectrum and I have been taking care of both of them. We had no income really since July of last year besides public assistance and our sons SSI (except our tax refund and income in January of this year) until June of this year. We were given a check last year which we used for many things. Our son was in his first year of middle school which can be rough on any child. We were able to get him some clothes, shoes, a coat, etc. We also got his Christmas. A PS4 with some games and a few other things he wanted like legos. We also got his supplements he needed from his doctors office. Also a few other things that needed taken care of. There is no way any of this would have even been thought possible as we were just struggling to pay bills and keep utilities on. With their help we were able to put a smile on our sons face and he was able to enjoy himself and have the Merriest Christmas possible (I say this as he was very sick over Christmas which combined with other things led to other issues which caused him to miss much of school the beginning of the year. He was able to ease back in but is still struggling to overcome some things.) Anyway... Thank you to the very special people that support this amazing foundation! If you are looking for an agency to donate to I highly suggest donating to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation! They really are making a difference in the lives of people on the Autism Spectrum! Thank you again Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for helping my family in our time of need, we really appreciate you!!!

Thank you to ASD Foundation for financial assistance and sending my 13 year old son to Camp Odokota. Making friends and being accepted is a big deal to just about anyone but this camp allowed my son to enjoy the outdoor adventures, play games, and make friends. The camp staff were exceptional. At the camp they did skits, learned new board games, went canoeing, talent show, and did crafts and were served very yummy meals. He came home happy and tired in a good way.
We truly appreciate your assistance as we would have never been able to afford this camp. I am a single mother and love to give my son fun summer memories to cherish.

This organization has been a Godsend to my son and I. Recently he received a target gift card to help fulfill his wants and needs for this Christmas. With the gift card, I will actually have the opportunity to provide my child with presents this year. Prior to finding out about this program, I had spent time being very worried about what Christmas would look like due to the financial strain that has occurred as a result of his recent diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Between the cost of occupational therapy, feeding therapy, speech therapy, evaluations and multiple physician appointments I felt extremely stressed. However, my search for help led me to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. This wonderful organization took the time out to respond to me quickly (most organizations will not), treat me with a respect and provided me a wonderful sense of empathy. I really appreciate the fact that they have been so amazing to my son and I. Thank you so much Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation!

Not a fun way to live, learn , laugh and love. I thank you so much for the opportunities afforded to her and love watching her blossom and grow more every summer. Thank you for the wonderful gift. My son Jaxson was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. At the age of 5 we found Aaron’s Acres, a nonprofit program where kids of any disability can go to a school year and summer program and just have fun and be a “normal” kid! It is a break for my husband and I and our other two kids but it’s also a break for Jaxson to just go and be free from the sometimes cruel judgements of this world. Without them, our summers would be much harder to get through! Autism spectrum disorder foundation inc. makes all of this possible as well! With their funding and support Aaron’s acres is more affordable for any family and our family is eternally grateful for that!

Today in the mail we recieved a gift card from this great organization for our son Jaxson who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. Jaxson is 8 now and still nonverbal and everyday is a challenge! Sometimes being a mother of an autistic child can feel very alone. This gift card does not just hold monetary value for our family. It makes me feel like someone has remembered him, remembered our family and the struggles we face everyday. I can't express enough how much this gift card means to our family and how much of a difference this foundation makes to children with autism. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you and God bless!
We found Camp Odakota last year at a time my twelve year old niece needed it most. She had just started middle school and had discovered that the kids she once knew in elementary school as friends were suddenly strangers. She had never met another child with ASD and, was feeling alone. Excited was not a big enough word for how she felt when she learned that she would be camping with other kids that would finally "get" her. My sister is a single mom raising two kids on her own. She works very hard but never has enough for any "extras." Without the help from ASDF my niece would not have had the opportunity to finally attend a sleep away camp. She would not know the excitement of being reunited with old friends as well as knowing she will be making new ones. Camp is something all children should get to experience. Camp Odakota gives children with ASD more than a camp experience, for children like my niece, this is the one time out of the year she will feel as though she really fits in. Thank you ASDF for giving my sister the peace of mind knowing that she will not need worry about how she is going to send her daughter to camp this year!

Without the Foundation's support we would not be able to afford camp, but their generosity has made this wonderful opportunity possible. The happiest and most excited I have ever seen my son is when I pick him up from Camp Odakoda. It is a place where he is not only completely accepted but he is celebrated! This charity has helped to make my family's life change. It all started with a simple request for an iPad for my 4 year old autistic son. Many programs around my area and many others do not fund iPads for children on the autism spectrum, and we can't blame them. iPads get used for other purposes other then as a learning tool. I reached out to this charity and they blessed my family. My son, who is 4, is non verbal. He had maybe a vocabulary of 20 words. We needed an iPad to help him to talk, to learn how to talk. He uses one at therapy and it was starting to help. We wanted it a full time thing. We strictly agreed as parents just the LAMP app and that is all he will have access to, 5 months later and we have held our rule. And 5 months later he has told me for the first time how he has felt, that he loved me, and what makes him happy. We are beyond blessed for the gratitude of the donors to this charity. Without them my son would be able to finally tell me his wants and needs. So thank you. And please if you want to donate to a charity....this is the one. These children need these devices. It changes everything and brings many happy tears!!!
A very blessed and thankful family ❤️

Thank you very much for helping our Isabella receive equine therapy at Leap of Faith Acres in Hudson Florida. This is such a unique and awesome therapy that our Isabella has never had before. Isabella has Down Syndrome and Autism, and her Autism is challenging at times. She absolutely squeals with delight when she wakes up and knows it is "Horse" day! This gives her the necessary sensory input she is craving, and pushes her to do more and relaxes her too. Jennifer Shade is awesome at what she does there and she truly loves and enjoys what she does, it shows!

I have to say THANK YOU so very much for the help we received from ASDF. It was so wonderful to see that someone out in the Autism community cares as there are so many Autism Organizations that will not help like the say they will. We have a 16 year old high functioning PDD-NOS with ADHD son and unfortunately we had to use bills and mortgage money to pay for food for him because our local Snap office was incorrectly adding the incomes for the past year and we were getting under $100 a month when we should have been receiving $250. But we cannot get any of that back. Well because I had to feed him what could I do. Thank goodness for ASDF and their generosity and willingness to help. We are still behind in our mortgage, and utilities but this has helped tremendously and I have given them all some gotten them all to work with us. Thank you so much. God Bless everyone who donates to ASDF so they can help families in need. I pray that more organizations become more willing to help.

Thank you so much to the kind people at Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for the generosity they have bestowed upon my family. The Christmas gift card program has been a huge blessing to our family. Because of therapies 3 times a week for 2 children I had to leave my job, and Christmas this year just wasn't going to happen. Thanks to the Christmas card program I am now able to focus on my children's therapies and needs, while they focus on unwrapping Christmas presents.
Our family is so grateful, and thankful for ASDF! My middle child was recently diagnosed with Autism, and it has been an enlightening journey already! My son Caleb Jr has several head injuries that cause him to need help with most ADL's, communication, and guidance with his behaviors. Living paycheck to paycheck, or no paycheck at all, leaves us in a tight bind with getting essentials. Caleb Jr, is so thankful for his gift! Having an IPad helps him with his education, his social skills, and his play skills! Thank you so much ;)
ASDF really helped my family through their Christmas Gift Card Program. I was struggling to figure out how I could move things around in my already tight budget, but was stressing out when I thought Christmas was going to be very small. I got a phone call that I was receiving a gift card and it really made a big difference due to the fact that I didn't have to choose how to "tweak"my budget, and I was even able to get a few meals with it too. This has truly been a blessing to know my family will be smiling on Christmas Day and it is because of the generous folks at this organization ASDF that made it possible.

All of his therapist use an iPad or a computer to get him to complete his task. This came at the perfect time and will really help him with his communication goals. Thank you so much.
The Henkels
Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation helped me provide Christmas to my children. I will forever be thankful!

The ASDF has been such a blessing to our family. We received Christmas help from the Parker Autism foundation. It has been a difficult year and we are so grateful for the love and support.
ASDF saved our family just in time for Christmas and our son who has autism will actually have a birthday party. Being born 3 days before Christmas always puts a strain on a family of 8. He will be 7 this year. we will sure be buying him something special and big for the first time.

What do you say about a foundation that is moving mountains. I am a single mother that has been just wowed by this foundation and all that they have given us. My son is 4 and we have been trying for a long time to get him an IPad, he has always taken to tech he is in school and an IPad is what he uses at school and coming home after school was hard because he would go from being able to make his needs known to me guessing which was putting a strain on both of us. So thank you for making our day our world our life that much more easier. Words can not express how grateful we are. They have also helped me with the holidays which I was stressing over I try to buy the things that help him with everyday task you know toys that teach but they seem to be the ones are higher in price but well worth it and I try to pass along toys that once hes mastered to his PT or OT so that kids that are in need can learn. I know how hard it is and this foundation warms my heart and lets me know that there are good people in the world. I plan on asking friends and family to donate what ever they can to this foundation.
Thank you so much for all that you do
We received our iPad last week after having missed out on last years ipad funding...my son absolutely loves the iPad. He had a huge crack in his that only worked once in a while and it truly frustrated him. He is nonverbal and very low functioning needing help with all ADLs...however he knows exactly how to get to what videos he wants to watch..we live paycheck to paycheck and have fallen through the cracks for any assistance. We are so grateful to have received your gift. Bless you and thank you for helping us!

What do I say to an organization who has done so much for my family and other families affected with autism. I have three children that have autism and I am a single mother trying to provide for them. Without Parker Autism's partnership with Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation my family would not have been able to have a wonderful holiday season. My children would not have been able to go to summer Camp. They have helped use so several years now and I am so very greatly for them.

What a wonderful organization. They helped to provide our family with the much needed finances for summer camp programs and for Holiday help. They have helped us for several years through Parker Autism and we could not thank them enough for all they do. Our son is none verbal and needs a special camp and the funding they provide allows him to attend an awesome camp. Thank you for all you do and thank you to those who donate.
Dear ASDF,
Thank you for your support and continued, We would not have been able to do all that we do without your help. The $5000 that you donated to the foundation was used for the following programs, Backpack Program, Thanksgiving meals for families in need, a family in crisis, supplies for our holiday party, and we purchased 15 bikes for children with autism for the holidays. Our families are so grateful for your generosity and support.
Bless you all,
Parker Autism Foundation
Wow I can't tell you what a blessing ASDF is to our families at Parker Autism Foundation. We just received eight I-Pads for our families and 40 gift cards for our holiday program. What a Blessing they are to us.
Not only have they done the above but they granted 12 families grants to attend our summer camp program Camp Dakota. Again cant tell you enough how wonderful they are. Please continue to donate so that we can help more families in need affected with autism.

ASDF has changed the amount of families we are able to serve. Without their support we would not be able to help so many families. ASDF provides funding to our summer camp program, our Holiday Gift Giving Program and also provides I-pads to many of our families. ASDF and Michael are a blessing to us and to all of our families. We could not thank them enough for all they do. This organization is such a wonderful group and we are so grateful to have them as our partners in making a difference in families affected with autism. Thank you to all the supports of ASDF. Without your help ASDF would not be able to support our families and we in turn would not be able to help so many children.
This year has been so tough on our family. In August, my husband, the sole provider for our family, lost his job and the insurance that accompanied it. My son had been attending therapy 4 days a week and we were unable to take him back. We have been struggling to both pay our bills and buy food. There was no way any kind of Christmas gifts were possible for my 4 year old autistic son this year.
I contacted the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation (ASDF) about the holiday giftcard program. I was blown away by their kindness and generosity. Michael personally wrote me back and his secretary, Jan, was very kind and professional as well. They understand how tough it is for special needs families and they went out of their way to help us provide a Christmas for my autistic son. Because of ASDF and the holiday giftcard program, I can buy my son some more of the special cups he drinks from that have all worn out. His pajammas are all too small and now I can get him some more. In addition, because of the generosity of ASDF, we will also be able to get him a few toys from Santa Claus. When I say our family was impacted by the ASDF, I don't mean that we have had a momentary smile in our hearts, I mean that the ASDF has literally saved Christmas in our house. I cannot thank you enough for the assistance you provided to my son during this tough time and we will forever be grateful of your kindness. If you are looking for a genuine charity that truly makes an impact on families, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation surpasses the mark. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.

I heard about this through another mother who also has a child on the spectrum. I have two autistic boys one higher functioning and one lower functioning. It was very easy I sent them via email a copy of my boy's psychological report and they responded very quickly. The gift card they have provided me is the only means I have to give my children a decent Christmas with things they can use and need to help with things pertaining to their dx. They were in contact with me every step of the way provided tracking numbers and followed up with me to make sure I got it. I am so grateful and appreciative because honestly with out this card my kids wouldn't have a Christmas. Unfortunate events happened with my vehicle and I had to replace the radiator twice in a two week span so Christmas gifts were the last of my priorities. This program is a god sent. It truely is. Thank you.

My son is six and is autistic.. we received a very generous Walmart gift card to help make his Christmas brighter. He's obsessed with emojis and often uses them to help communicate how he's feeling. We were able to buy him a whole emoji bedroom set. He's going to love it so much, we're so grateful because there's no way would would have been able to afford to get it for him. The costs of having a son on the spectrum leave little room for "extras" were very grateful this foundation was able to help us out!

ASDF gifted my family the holiday Walmart gift card. Our daughter is diagnosed with ASD, and money is always tight. This is going to make a huge difference for our family's Christmas. We are so appreciative of the generosity of this organization. There really are no words to describe our gratitude. Some days are tough, other days even tougher. Thank you for recognizing the need for programs like this in the Autism community, and filling that need. God Bless!

Because I have a special needs child, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has provided my daughter and I with a $3oo dollar gift card to Wal-Mart, through MIsti Mixley from Clackamas Oregon. Misti's generosity has provided my daughter and I a wonderful Christmas by allowing me to buy new clothing for my daughter as well as things she likes the most, toys, Barbie dolls. Since my daughter is 8, it also allowed me to purchase a tablet that I can put learning games and things on to help her learn.
Once again, thank you to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, and Msti Mixley for this wonderful gift.
Merry Christmas from my family to yours.
I received a Christmas gift card via Autism Pensacola. It was such a blessing to be chosen by this organization to receive this gift. I was able to get my son a Christmas tree and a couple of other things he wanted for christmas. We are so grateful and appreciative for everything. Thank you so much.

I would like to sincerely thank ASDF, we are so bless to receive the gift card, you have made Christmas possible for my sweet 6 yrs old son, we are so happy.
Thank you so much!!
I was chosen to receive a $300.00 gift card for Christmas, the qualifications were that my family be low income and have a special needs child. Well, I have a special needs adult child and I'm raising my grandson who is on the autism spectrum. This was such a surprise and such a great blessing. I received the card from Misti Mixley out of Clackamas Oregon. Receiving the gift card allowed me to provide my family with a great tree, nice dinner fixings and allowed me to purchase a special child computer tablet for my grandson. He had one before and over the course of two years wore it out. I didn't have the funds to replace it due to the expense. Now this year he can have another one. This tablet helps him with his frustration, fixations and attention span. The gift card also allowed me to get the one thing he asked for, a new bike. So thank you very much, this was a great unexpected surprise that we will treasure all this season. Whoever reads this please pass it along, please keep helping to support organizations and foundations that make such gifts possible.
My almost 4 year old had just received his autism diagnosis when I reached out to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. They were able to provide my family with a $300 Wal Mart gift card. Holiday gifts would have been out of reach this year with out that gift card! We have had to put a lot of work into our car to get our son to and from appointments. Thank you so much!
I wish I could give you more stars!! You are such and awesome company. Thank you for serving adults with autism-they get left out so much! Both my 'kids' still believe in Santa and miracles! ASDF is our miracle this Christmas. I am having surgery the week before Christmas and I don't know what I would have done without you! Autism Pensacola is a great support to our family and we will see Santa at their party this Saturday. I'm so glad they connected us with ASDF. Thank you again.

Our family was one of the families blessed by ASDF to receive a gift card for holiday assistance this year through Autism Pensacola. This is a wonderful organization that has helped other families like myself during the holidays to provide Christmas for their families and was our first year to be a recipient of one of these gift cards. Because of ASDF our family will be able to provide our 7 year old son Trey and his sister Saniah with a brighter Christmas. I'm very thankful for this organization and would recommend anybody that can get involved through fundraising to help support them and their ability to help families with children on the autism spectrum. Thank you so much to ASDF for making Christmas happen for my children this year.

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation is a blessing. My daughter is 8yrs old and nonverbal. She has a lot of behaviors. This has been a very trying year for her and my family. Her speech therapist said we will be moving her to a communication device soon. There was no way I could afford it. But you all made it possible. For my family. Being a parent of an Autistic Child is hard every thing is expensive. This IPad is life changing for Grace. After eight years she will be able to communicate. I thank you

My family has been struggling with medical bills related to my 13yr old daughter Who has ASD and scoliosis. She is in a full brace 18 hours of day. With her sensory issues it makes every day a long hard day and fitting in nearly impossible. When my daughter got excepted to go to represent her school in a conference in Washington DC . We we needed worry about her transportation to and from doctors appointments as well as therapies that medical insurance only pays a portion for was more important than going to represent her school . We knew that she was likely the only kid out of her school that was on the spectrum going on the a leadership trip and thanks to this foundation we did not have to choose. She is so very proud to go to this Leadership conference and represent not only her school but other kids who are on the spectrum. She has worked so hard over this past year to do the thing that most kids her age find natural such as shaking another person's hand or greeting adults and making an effort

We are a family of 5 . All boys 3 boys! They are the light of our lives. Never could we have imagined one would be diagnosed with autism or what that would be like. You just don’t know until you are knee deep and wading in the waves of all things autism. It’s like a world done a lil differently. My son is smart and funny and can speak and show emotion and we feel so blessed for that. Knowing others struggle there. We struggle in our areas as well and have struggled financially to provide all the therapies available to better his skills, and work on his challenges. When we heard about this Christmas donation I couldn’t believe it and when we received it , well that felt so heart fully amazing. To know people are out there understanding and acknowledging the struggle it truly means so much especially for the Holidays! And the staff that handles all the emails they are so sweet and professional. Lovely experience.
Thanks a bunch from our family to yours!
Happy Holidays

The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has been a huge blessing to my family. My son is 8 years old and he is on the more severe end of the spectrum as he is nonverbal. I have been wanting to get him an ipad for some time now but just didn't have the extra funds to do it. I have applied at big name organizations in the past that have claimed to be giving out ipads but was never selected. I had basically given up on getting one through an organization. A friend told me about ASD foundation because she got a gift card last year so I applied as well and not only did my son get an ipad but also a gift card as well! I felt like we had won the lottery. He immediately took to this ipad and has loved it since. I immediately went to walmart and used the gift card to buy him a good sturdy case for his ipad so it would stay protected. I can't wait to take the rest of the gift card and buy him Christmas gifts. ASD foundation has been a huge blessing and I would recommend it to anybody that is looking for a good charity.

I am a single mother of four very unique children. This year has been very hard for us and I am in the process of being "released" from our lease in our home. Not everyone understands "special needs" and our loudness isn't smiled upon in our complex. After having to pay a deposit and rent for two places in one month my funds are depleted; Without the help of this foundation my sweet babies would have no Christmas this year. Thank you so much for stepping in when everyone else has stepped out.
My family and I are so thankful for the autism spectrum disorder foundation! They have helped my 3 year old who is on the autism spectrum more then they will ever understand! Last year around Christmas time they sent us a gift card for him to target and we were able to get him so many things we would normally not be able to afford. This year they sent him an iPad. I cannot put into words how much this has helped us and him. Apple iPads offer so many helpful apps for autistic children. It is a way for him to escape. To learn, and communicate. This is a great foundation who helps a lot of children. It is so hard to have a child with special needs. It's all worth it but it's not easy and having great non profits like this too help take the load of a bit is simply wonderful. Thank you!! - Jennifer Roach and family.
My family and i are dealing with a crisis and i reached out to anyone who would listen. Thank you! I have a 15 year old son who is under the spectrum and I was searching looking for something for him and came across this wonderful foundation. Because of your Christmas gift card program I was able to make this Christmas a very bright one see we are on a limited income and struggle to keep up and this gift card really helped. Thank you for your generosity
ASDF - We can not thank you enough for bringing such joy and much needed opportunities to our family through your support to Parker Autism Foundation. Our son has limited verbal skills, but this was the first year he was able to express his (specific) Christmas wish/gift and that is HUGE! And watching the magic unfold, seeing his face light up when he opened his gifts were priceless! Because of you, we were able to make his Christmas wish come true! And thank you for your generous support to help finance camp scholarships for our son and so many other families where there is a tremendous need in our area for these types of services! Words cannot express our gratitude to your foundation.

My daughter, Isabella was diagnosed with autism 4 years ago and life has intermittently been a living hell for both of us. This Gift Card has enabled me to purchase a gift my daughter has been wanting for a long time and we are both grateful to God, your foundation and the generous donors. THANK YOU!

My son was diagnosed with asd .2 years ago this month. It has been a big adjustment in every way imaginable. We are barely squeaking by this holiday, it's been a very hard year. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation were godsends. I contacted them at the last minute because I had no where else to turn. They came through for my little boy. He will have a very happy holiday because of them. It is a wonderful feeling knowing there are organizations like them, that help families who are in need with children with this disorder that we are still learning about. Supporting these charities helps people, children, families. I thank them so much for what they have done for my son. Without them he would have no Christmas.
I have an 8 year old son who is autistic and is having to have a hearing aid made. I contacted this organization after finding them online and got put on the Christmas gift card list. this past Monday I received a $250 gift card to Walmart (they gave me the choice of Walmart or target) and I cant tell you how much of a help that has been. they stayed in touch with me and were so kind!
Thank you so much for helping our family with your holiday gift card program. I was able to purchase my son a winter jacket and get all my children Christmas gifts. Without this program it just would not have been possible. Happy holidays!!

Thank you so much for the gift card to help give my 10 year old Autistic Son an awesome Christmas! He desperately needed a new television for his room because his was extremely old! With the help of your gift card, we were able to buy him something we could never afford on our own! We got him a flat screen smart tv complete with Netflix and his absolute favorite YouTube on the tv! We were also able to get him a wall mount and blu ray player for all of his favorite movies! And there was enough left over to get him some new movies and Legos that he wanted! With the wall mount we are able to safely mount it on his wall without fear of him breaking it getting hurt himself which was a daily fear from his old tube tv! My husband said, this is going to be one of the Christmases he'll always remember! Thanks to you we were able to make that happen for him!
I want to say thank you so much for the gift card for my son. Times are really hard right now and with getting the card right before Christmas I will be able to provide my son with some sensory toys for Christmas! My family thanks you for what you do!!

My teenage son has suffered with a severe form of Hyperacusis for many years (The inability to tolerate sound without pain). Every aspect of Josh's life has been affected by this life altering disorder; including his family life, being able to function out in the community and his education. He tried different local therapies, but was unsuccessful.
Josh was given an opportunity to see an out of town doctor who specializes in "Difficult to treat Hearing Disorders". We were finally given hope that he could find recovery through on going specialized treatment.
Because we are a low income family, transportation costs to this new doctor, that includes train, buses and cab service is very financially difficult for us. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation blessed Josh with a grant to help our family towards these transportation expenses.
This grant has enabled Josh to receive long awaited, specialized medical treatment. We are so grateful for their generosity towards kids on the Autism Spectrum, who so often struggle with multiple disorders. Through the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation's help, Josh has been given the opportunity to find healing and freedom from pain, allowing him to regain quality of life and reach his highest potential.

This organization has greatly enhanced the learning ability of our grandchild by providing her with an IPad. We put her on the Starfall.com app, but when she gets tired of it she will go YouTube and find dress up games or swimming videos. We appreciate the gift immensely. Thanks.
Thanks to your generous donation, my nonverbal son will be able to communicate in a whole new way! You've helped to open up the world for him, and for that, I will be forever grateful!

I just want to thank the foundation for sending the ipads to my son school. My son has his own iPad now.
Hello Michael,
My name is Jennifer Amash. I have 6 kids with 2 of them being on the Autism Spectrum among other things. To say it is a challenge daily in our home would be an understatement. I am always on the go taking kids to therapy, Doctors appointments, IEP meetings, School gatherings etc. I also take care of my disabled father and my 85 year old grandmother with dementia. I help run the Vancouver WA autism mom's group and I coach for the MiracIe League of Vancouver WA. I like to think i am a very giving, caring person and I think my friends would agree. This past July I came down with a terrible pneumonia which I ignored for quite a while and it put me in the hospital with respiratory failure. I spent over 11 days in the hospital which I had never done before ever, I am generally a healthy person and the only times i have been in the hospital were for my 6 deliveries and a minor surgery. As you can imagine being the one who takes care of everyone being laid up has been unbearable for me but I haven't really had a choice. I'm not one to ask for help and be dependent on others so this has been a struggle for me. When I received your check in the mail, I couldn't believe it. I was shocked. Financially, things have been strained around here as my husband has had to take time off work to take me to appointments etc. I was able to pay a few bills, buy some groceries that are easy for the kids to make meals, and hire people to come in and help me with my kiddos. Nobody really wanted to help much when they weren't getting compensated. I can't tell you how much the funds have helped out my family. I am still very sick and on bed rest. I am on all kinds of medication which is also very new to me. Now that I have the means to pay for respite, I am getting some much needed rest. I am waiting on a bunch of test results to come in and when the time comes I'll deal with whatever needs to be done. I am just amazed at your generosity and I hope you know how much My family and I appreciate what you've done for us. Thank you so much!

We received an iPad mini as well as a holiday gift card for our family. It was a huge help in so many ways. Our little one is completely non verbal so the iPad is helping bridge that connection that we needed. The gift card was a huge help in so many ways. Having a child on the spectrum can be an expensive thing especially when you want to give your child everything that will help make them feel comfortable. We are thankful for this non profit. I am a divorced single mom of an 18-year-old son with autism. He recently became interested in horses, so I sought out horse therapy, not realizing the cost of such a therapy. I started looking on the internet and what I found was nothing short of a blessing. I came across this fantastic organization called the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. I contacted them and within an hour I was contacted back with an answer that they would pay for his entire lessons. I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he gets on that horse this Friday afternoon and when I tell him he gets to go back each week. Thank you doesn't seem enough for this wonderful gift they have given us. Please consider donating to this wonderful organization so they may help more families like ours.

My 6 year old son is able to attend the Mississippi State University Autism Summer Camp thanks to a generous donation from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, Inc. He is learning math, reading, and social skills in a month long camp that will help him transition to the first grade. After two weeks we were already seeing major improvements in our son's social skills. He initiated a hug and he introduced me to a friend he had made at camp. This is a major accomplishment for our normally socially withdrawn son. We are extremely grateful to this organization. Please donate to them so they can continue to benefit other families. Sincerely, Cindi Patrick, Mom

My 3 year old son has a receptive language delay and has been using PECS and visual cues. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation was very professional and prompt. After very minimal paperwork and proof of a diagnosis, they shipped an iPad mini of my son's very own. I'm on SSI, so to be able to receive something like this was a blessing! He's already exploring an AAC app! He's loving some of the emotion apps, Little People, and the Signed Stories ASL app. It was a great experience, and I would recommend them to anyone!

My son, Alexander, has ASD, but is verbal. Even though he is verbal he has a hard time expressing his wants, needs, and emotions effectively. He throws tantrums because of this. When I heard about the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation was giving people with ASD iPad's, I thought I'd give the iPad a try. The day we received it, it turned my son's communication around! He can tell us his want's, needs, and emotions without the frustration he would normally have. Thank you Austism Spectrum Disorder Foundation!

This organization is the best. My daughter just loves going to camp Dakota and wouldn't be ables to go without y'lls help. They done donated her an iPad this year. What great people's you are.
God bless y'lls and continue to be blessed by our father.
I'm using the Parker Autism's user name and email because I do not have Internet or a computer to tell you what ASDF has done for my family. My son is mostly non verbal and unable to communicate with us. He gets very frustrated and aggressive when he is not understood. With the iPad ASDF donated and the apps Parker Autism Doenloaded for him. He is learning to communicate with us. camp Dakota is going to help him learn how to use it. So ASDF if sponsoring him to attend camp this year. I am so excited to see how he learns and how life changing this will be for him as well as our family. God has blessed ASDF and ASDF has blessed our son.
Thank you ASDF without you my child wouldn't be able to communicate with us. With the iPad they donated to us he is able to let us know how he feels and what he needs.
They are also sponsoring him for a week at Camp Dakota. He loves this camp and without ASDF he could not go. So from the bottom of my heart thank you.
Great organization- they are sponsoring me child to go to a wonderful camp- Camp Dakota.
And since my child is mostly non verbal he is also relieving an iPad. I can't tell you enough what life changing this will be for our entire family.
Thank you thank you!!!!
ASDF just granted children in our organization iPads. Seven children relieved iPads.
They are also sponsoring several children for summer camp scholarships totally over $10,200.
Parker Autism Foundation and Camp Dakota couldn't do what we do without the help from ASDF. Thanks for your continued support!

Our hearts are so grateful for the generous scholarship you have given our ASD son to attend Camp Yakety Yak. This will be our 3rd year at CYY for both of our kids (one is ASD the other a typical peer), but your impact for our ASD kiddo is substantial and appreciated beyond words. Social communication is our most challenging obstacle and we work hard throughout the school year to help facilitate more natural and confident responses with peers - CYY has really helped to bridge the summer gap and help to foster positive relationships and interactions. Without the partial scholarship to CYY, attending this camp would be a deep financial burden. My entire family is so thankful for this opportunity. It is a great experience for all of us but especially Mr. M.

Thank you so much for your donation to help my son attend Camp Yakety Yak. Because he on the autism spectrum, social situations are difficult for him - but he is so excited to go to camp this year! I know that with the special support they provide at this camp, he will grow his social skills and learn about being with peers. It seems like such a simple thing for any other child, but for mine this is huge. Your generous scholarship is giving my son the gift of friendship. And for that we are very grateful.

My two year old son was Brandon was diagnosed with autism. The diagnosis came right after my husband lost his job and we no longer had health insurance. Of course, Brandon's doctors wanted us to start speech therapy right away since he had severe language and comprehension delays. The therapist we found had a fee of $135 per session, but lowered it to $90 to help us out. Even with the discount we KNEW couldn't afford it. We prayed for help and God answered in the form of Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation! The staff looked over Brandon's case, his clinical diagnosis, his therapy plan and cut a check to the speech therapist so we could start sessions right away. Praise God for these people and the work they do to help families in need. Autism diagnoses are financially draining for families, I personally don't know anybody with an extra $800 laying around to pay for therapy sessions. So when you can find a place that makes it possible for kids diagnosed with autism to get the help they need, it's a godsend. Because of their generosity, Brandon starts speech therapy sessions on Thursday.

We all know how much technology has been assisting in the treatment. Of ASD. I would like to take a moment to thank you so much for providing my teenage son, who has Autism, with a mini IPad of his own at no cost. This device has been filled with many academic and social applications that are more engaging and entertaining than the typical teachings and hold his concentration for longer periods. He is also able to explore the power of technology and loves to take pictures and listen to music on the go in which he organizes the way he enjoys. Your assistance and generosity towards the Autism community has not gone unnoticed. Once again thank you for taking the time to assist our family.

Thanks to this wonderful organization our son will be able to attend the Odakoda Camp for children with Asperger's, something he wouldn't have been able to do without their help. Our son loves camping and being outdoors but was always a little scared that he wouldn't be able to connect with his fellow campers. We believe that Camp Odakoda will give him a chance to just be himself and enjoy the things he loves the most around people who understand his behaviors and personality. We are truly grateful, as we're sure this experience will make this summer one he will remember for a lifetime.

With my daughter having been misdiagnosed for most of her life, there was no end to the horror stories as we attempted to navigate the public school system. She was not correctly diagnosed with Asperger's until she was 21. And unbelievably, at this time she incurred a medical crisis which is ongoing and without resolution. Simultaneously she returned to school at the local community college to begin the journey to attain her life goal of earning a PhD in biology. Unfortunately after 5 years of Herculean effort, she was still unable to complete her two years at this level. Because she is the expert chameleon, her disability remains hidden to neuro-typicals and even to those who work in access/disability resource centers, who refuse to grant the much needed accommodations due to her better than 4 point GPA. No one sees the enormous costs she has to pay just to get through one class. Consequently, this brilliant young woman is in a holding pattern attempting to make this right not only for her but other Aspie's who have given up their own dreams of a college education. As we have lived in poverty all her life, we are unable to afford the fun things in life and pretty much live in survival mode. Her case manager contacted ASDF with a request for funding for riding lessons for her as she used to ride and loves animals more than people. These lessons are the only thing she looks forward to every week in her very packed schedule and the instructor enjoys Alex as much as Alex enjoys being there with her. This has been such a boon to her and we are so grateful that ASDF has provided this. We cannot thank them enough.
I want to let you know how much my family and I appreciate your help by providing an iPad mini for our autistic son Ben. With the help of many apps we have installed on the iPad mini, Ben is now able to identify many shapes, words, objects clearly, and follow many steps order without any difficulties. He is even singing songs now, isn’t that wonderful. I am looking forward for some more great learning experiences. GOD bless your heart for the assistance you are provided to parents like us in our journey.

in September of 2013 i was asked to take in my nephew Dillon 7yrs and his sister and neice Shaylee. Dillon has many health problems. He is a special needs child with ADHD, Autism and Degeorge Syndrome. Hes mildly mental retarded as well. Ive never cared for a child like Dillon as my children are grown and gone. As it turns out DHS came and asked me to adopt both children 5 months into the 22 month contract as the parents were not doing what they were suppose to do and staying off the drugs. I got Dillon into many behavioral programs and created a safe and loving enviroment. He now has stability and structure and consisentcy and hes come along way from the time he got here. Ive been trying and writing to people to get Dillon an Ipad and he was put on a back burner and forgot. I contacted Michael Slutsky and of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and he was right on top of it for Dillon. Finally someone helped me. Dillon got his Ipad yesterday and is now learning the letters and sounds. I cant work full time with Dillon and money is very tight. The state dont pay for any kinds of camps or programs for children like Dillon. Everything is at my expense and with only my husband working, i cant afford any thing like that so i have to do my best. Im so greatful for Michael and his fouyndation. i might need more and im glad someone is there for us. Ive had no experience in dealing with kids like dillon but boy ive gotten better with patience.

I wanted to thank the foundation for their support and their generous help during this holiday season. The caring and hard work of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, Inc. truly makes a difference in the everyday lives of families.
My son is an 18 year old autistic boy who also happens to have a very rare cancer. It means the world to be able to make this Christmas special to him as we do not know how many we will have with him.
The wonderful gift card was a help to be able to provide my son a good Christmas dinner and presents. I was able to buy him the present he most wanted. I would not have been able to do this otherwise. We spend so much everyday trying to get him the right care that it doesn't always leave a lot extra for the "little" things like making a favorite meal.
The smile on my son's face is the best gift I will receive! This would not be possible without the ASDF.

Our grandson, Aidan, is 4 years old and he is on the Autism Spectrum. During the past year we have learned so much about his disorder and how to help Aidan succeed. One of his biggest challenges is communication. He was very slow to speak, but currently has a vocabulary of about 80 words. Communicating his wants and needs continues to be a roadblock for him. When I heard of the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and their program to help children on the spectrum by supplying iPads, I was not sure it was for real. I contacted the foundation but was told that the year's allotment of iPads had already been distributed. That was a disappointment. Knowing what a benefit this assistive technology would be for my grandson I decided to start saving to hopefully purchase one. Several weeks later I received an email from the foundation informing me that a new supply of iPad mimi's was expected and I would be able to apply for one by sending Aidan's diagnosis. I immediately responded and within 10 days Aidan had his iPad mini. It is hard to express in words the difference this is making in Aidan's learning. There are many free apps available for children on the Autism Spectrum. We are currently using Candy Count to help with counting and sorting and number sense, ABA Flashcards for expressing emotions, and Emotions, Feelings, and Colors to help with social development. Aidan's vocabulary and his ability to express his wants, needs, and feelings is improving already. I can't wait to see what new apps will be available for him in the future. Thank you to the ASDF and its generous donors for providing this learning tool for our child and other children on the spectrum. It is truly a great blessing to see your child make the connections necessary to have a future. We are very grateful for this opportunity for our grandson. I will be donating the money I saved for Aidan's iPad to the foundation to benefit other children.

Words can't express how thankful we are of the gift card we received for Christmas. It allowed us to actually buy much needed shoes and coats as well as some gifts for the kids. We live on an extremely tight budget with really no room for Christmas presents. Instead of just trying to live day by day, we can actually celebrate this year.

Thank you very much for the generous donations that you give to the Autism Project of RI, because of your organization my son Kameron (age 13) was able to attend his Favorite camp 'Camp WannaGoAgain' this past summer. It is the one thing that my son looks forward to attending every year!! He has been attending camp with the Autism Project of RI since he was 5 years old, this camp is the GREATEST and the workers and volunteers go above and beyond to make sure our children are safe and have the most fun but most of all get to experience camp just like every typical child. Your donations are a blessing and well appreciated by my family, without them we might not have been able to afford camp because of family finances. It is good to know that there are people like you who care and have desire to help. On behalf of Kameron and myself we Thank you again! :-)
God bless you and your organization.

Through the generous donations from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation my 19 year old autistic son JJ has been able to participate in a therapeutic horseback riding program. Stirrups N Strides is a wonderful program that has helped my son on so many levels. JJ is an animal lover and being able to ride and bond with horses has been invaluable. The volunteers that run the program are truly wonderful people and depend on donations to make this program a success. We are very fortunate that organizations such as the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation are able to contribute to the various programs that help individual with autism.
Thank you again for all that you have done.

I know that without the hourseback riding there is a big change bc during summer breaks I can see it. I want to thank everyone involved for all their help.

My daughter is 18, and has autism. We learned of this diagnosis at the age of 6, but, knew "something" was wrong since birth. She has been in therapeutic horseback riding since the age of 7. The first session, she screamed the entire time while on the horse (mainly because she couldn't stand wearing a helmet). After a couple of times, she stopped screaming. She actually looked forward to riding her horse, and told me about it every week. Although she's not a competitive rider, like many people at Stirrups 'N Strides in Citra, FL, she enjoys going each Saturday. She is calm on the horse. She sits with a smile on her face, and doesn't like to stop! She looks forward to it each Saturday. I was so excited that Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, Inc. provided a scholarship for her to ride last year. It was unexpected, but, such a blessing! This year will be year two on the scholarship, and I wanted to say how thankful I am for a great organization like this that will go out of their way for a complete stranger. My daughter is grateful, and I am so appreciative! Awesome organization that really helps the individuals that need it the most!
My son Carson was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in July of 2014. Carson is two and a half. He was delayed in speech but once he started talking he was picking up words in leaps and bounds. Carson started having seizures, that caused regression. Carson has decreased in verbalizing and has been choosing to sign more. With Carson starting preschool soon, we had come to the decision to get him an iPad that could help ease his communication issues in the school system. ASDF responded to my email immediately informing me once they received a copy of Carson's diagnosis, they could help provide an iPad. I assumed this meant we would go on a waiting list and it'd be 6 months or better before we'd ever hear anything, just because most foundations do have such a long wait list. Not ASDF! Carson received his iPad mini within 2 weeks of the initial email response! With ASDF covering the costs of the tablet for Carson, we were able to purchase the AvidTalker program ourselves. We were so thankful to stumble across their website!!!

In NO TIME at all - I was send an iPad Mini for my 3.5 yr old autistic boy. This has improved his concentration, his learning, speech and more. He knows all his ABC's and counts to 20 and he knows most all shapes and does matching. All from learning on this iPad Mini. There are ton of FREE apps to try out and if your child really likes them, you have a choice to purchase them for more access to the app/program or not. I am very thankful to AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER FOUNDATION INC. for sending us this iPad Mini. It's unbelievable that there are organizations out there that REALLY care - just like this one.
A very satisfied and thankful fan of the AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER FOUNDATION INC! God Bless all people and organizations that really, truly care!
I was blown away when my friend called me one day and said, "Does your son need an i-pad mini". She met a man from ASDF , and he told her about how his organization supports people with Autism. He said that my son could receive an i-Pad mini if he needed one. I thought this was too good to be true. It wasn't, though. Within 2 weeks he had a new i-Pad. My son's school uses i-Pads for teaching and for communication. He now has one of his own that he can use at school and home. As a family affected by autism, we are so grateful that ASDF is out there providing support and resources. They actually sought us out and they were so generous and helpful!
My 6 year old son received a swim scholarship from the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and I am so grateful. At the Paul J Lydon Aquatic Center in Danvers, MA, he is getting the one to one instruction that he needs to be successful. His confidence has increased and he looks forward to his lesson each week with Sandy. His social skills have increased and he has even made a friend at the pool. He has even begun looking at the kids in the swim classes and asking when he will be able to get group lessons, so he is becoming more aware of his surroundings. It's amazing to see how much progress he has made since he started swimming and was afraid to get in the pool; today he jumps right in and is ready to go! I am so proud of him and his achievement, which would not be possible without this funding. Thanks to all involved in this foundation, you have made my family's financial situation a little easier by making the swim lessons possible.

I am a parent of a child that received a mini ipad from Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. The ipad could not have come at a better time as shortly after receiving it she was hospitalized for two weeks. She was in the process of preparing for her EOG's (End of Grade) testing when this all happened and we were worried that she would miss valuable classroom time as a result. I am happy to say that my daughter was able to "Facetime" with her Teacher's and receive classroom instruction while in the hospital and stay on track to take her EOG's after her discharge. I do not know what we would have done were it not for this device. Thank you to this Foundation does not seem enough!
Thank you so much for the support you give to our youth at our Y. What a joy to see the campers enjoy their time interacting with some of the other campers, swimming in our pool and creating pieces of art.
Nicholas loves coming to camp and swimming in the pool. His mother was so happy that he has been a part of our camp program for the past couple of years. She relates that he has gained confidence and has grown physically as well experience many fun times. Thank you to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for making this camp experience a reality in his life. Thank you to the Hobart Family YMCA for including youth of all abilities in your program.
Daniel has grown so much this summer and he loves his camp counselor. He comes home and is so animated about his experience." Let me tell you that is some accomplishment, because he does not communicate with many words on a daily basis." Thank you for helping children to experience summer camp.

The Hobart Family YMCA has been able to serve children who are on the spectrum ages 3 to 12 years in our summer day camp programs for the past two years because of the generous support from The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation. Without the support of this organization 20 campers (10 campers in preschool and school-age) would not have had the opportunity to come to camp. I'd like to share some of the comments made by parents of the campers we served. Orlando's mom writes: "Thank you for all the financial support you gave my son so he could participate in this wonderful day camp. He has made great strides in spite of his autism and I owe it to programs like yours and the YMCA which gave him the ability to lead a "normal" life. He does not want to miss going to camp. If he did not have this opportunity this summer to attend camp, he would have been at home not making any progress. Again. thank you from the bottom of our hearts." Alex's grandmother writes: "Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing the financial support so my special grandson could attend your excellent day camp program for the last two years. Alex has improved in his social and communication skills. He also made some new friends and enjoyed his art class. He was very happy and excited to go to camp each day. Again, thanks for the help that was given to him. I pray many people who can will donate to both of your organizations so many more children with and without disabilities can continue to receive financial support as well as social and emotional support." Jon and Mimi's mom writes this: "on what I thought was a whim is what I call Divine Order after calling the Hobart Y and speaking with Mrs. Sharon to inquire if there was sibling discount for the Preschool summer day camp program since I have two adopted special needs children both on the Autism Spectrum. What happened next exceeded my greatest expectation: I was told about the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and the availability of them helping to cover the cost for both of my dear ones to attend day camp. I have seen so much progress with both of them. They have enjoyed each day of camp and it does a Mother good to see her children so happy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being willing to support such excellent programs in our community. May God continue to bless your organization."

Like many children on the autism spectrum, my son is drawn to water. The pool is where he feels most at ease. It is his joy and truly is his "happy place." I revel in the fact this he is able to share this joy with me, however it also terrifies me because one of the leading causes of death for individuals with autism is drowning. This statistic is elevated in individuals who wander. My husband and I knew early on that our J would need to learn to swim at an young age because of his love of water and his propensity to wander when the rare opportunity presents itself.
When we looked into swimming lessons we quickly figured out that due to the nature of his specific needs, a typical group lesson would not be a safe option for him at the present time. Unfortunately the costs associated with raising a family, paying for insurance and copays for J's many weekly therapy sessions did not leave much, if any, room for lessons with a private 1:1 instructor. Through the generous support of the ASDF, our son was able receive scholarships to fund the 1:1 swim lessons that he needs with an incredible, experienced, caring professional. His instructor and the ASDF have become really important members of J's team because without their help he would not be building the lifesaving skill set that he desperately needs. Thank you for all that you do!
My Daughter, Sarah was adopted from Ethiopia in 2011. She is three years old now and was recently diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum. She loves horses and we have a local equine therapy group that gives therapy sessions for children with autism.
I wrote to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation and they generously agreed to pay for a 6 week session of equine therapy for Sarah. It was SUCH a good experience for her! She worked on speech therapy and receiving directions. She loved it and has asked to go back for another session in the fall. We are so thankful to ASDF for giving her this opportunity!

Dear Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation,
Thank you so much for your generous donation to Autism Pensacola, Inc. supporting the 2014 Kids for Camp. My child, King Richard, is having a wonderful time at camp. We are so fortunate to have the support of your organization to help Pensacola put on such a great summer learning lab for our children. King requires a program that is highly structured and designed to meet his special needs. King is really enjoying the opportunity to participate in the JTP classes this year. This program helps to improve his work skills. Because of your help King was able to have a wonderful summer experience at camp filled with fun and laughter. Kids for Camp offers a variety of activities including; singing, dancing, trips to the movies, mall, beach, etc. and more importantly, King is learning life skills while having fun. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our children.
Thanks for your support, Ann & David Richard

I am the mother of four (4) year old twin boys. The oldest twin (by a minute) was diagnosed within the spectrum of autism. I first observed a change in him at the age of 2. We were devastated when my son stop talking and we lost eye contact communication with him. Since that realization, my husband and I been researching and implementing many of the therapies we discovered during on-line searches. We have tried whatever made sense to us at the time, including change in diet – all organic, eliminating certain foods and adding others. We believe that a holistic approach would be best for our son. We are determined to help our son overcome the challenges of Autism by attacking the symptoms early and consistently. Some of the therapies tried are: OT, BA, Speech, gluten/dairy free diet, swimming, etc., you name it we have tried it.
In the past 2 years we have exhausted every penny of our saving (we have two others children) paying for the therapies tried in an effort to help our son overcome the challenges of autism. Our goal is to help our son become a healthy well adjusted adult that will be able to make a positive contribution to his family and society. We don’t know how long we are going to be around, but we are determined to help him reach his full potential.
Someone I met through “Parents of Children with Autism” `told me about the horseback riding program/therapy and how much it helps her son. Financially, we couldn’t afford to pay for the horseback riding lesson as another tool in the multi-faceted approach in my son’s therapy/program. As I mentioned above, currently, we have him working with a speech therapist, ABA, OT and swimming for which the total cost is the equivalent to my monthly salary. Through online research I luckily discovered AUTISM SPECTOM DISORDER FOUNDATION. I immediate wrote to them and was happily surprised to receive a quick response to my email. I requested help to pay for the Equine Therapy and thankfully received the financial assistance necessary to afford my son’s therapy. This help was a God send, within a week I could see positive results. My son was able to say a few words, for example, he was asking for the horse, and even requested to go horseback riding. “Mommy, let’s go ‘diggy dap, diggy dap.” Those few words gave me hope that one day my baby will be able to fully communicate. I would like to thank this organization from the bottom of my heart for the financial help they have provided for my precious boy. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation for your scholarship, support and the work you do to assist my family and other families with Autistic Children. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your financial assistance that has helped my son gets the necessary treatment which helped him to utter those few words.

Our son Patrick is autistic, non verbal, with severe sensory issues. Since birth, I have been on a journey to find therapies for Patrick that would benefit him. He has had speech, occupational and physical therapies. Recently, in the last two or three years, Patrick has had the opportunity to participate in hippo therapy in Centerburg, Ohio. Immediately I noticed a connection that he made with his self awareness, that I had not noticed in his other therapies. I feel it is due to the nature of the horses at the hippo therapy, that helped Patrick to become aware of himself more and his surroundings. I thought he would be afraid to ride a horse, since it is so big!!! However, much to my delight, he was eager and willing to learn about the horse. And not only that, he can hug the horse and just be himself around the horse, with no type of judgement or attitude!! Human attitude, I mean. It gives him a sense of peace and contentment. I am so grateful for the scholarships that Patrick has received, since we have a large family and have had a hard time making ends meet. I wish there were more awareness of the benefits of hippo therapy, to people on the autism spectrum.

I am an autistic adult. My new iPad mini has all the benefits of my old iPad, only it works like it should (the old one had seen better days) and the small size is perfect for my needs. I use the iPad mini for communication, writing (which is how I process things), reminders, transporting my presentations (I type them in advance then read them to the audience), tracking my medical information (blood sugars and nutrition intake), meltdown avoidance, social connection, and I'm sure there is more. ASDF was amazing to work with and Jan, the contact person I emailed with, got back to me quickly and even had my iPad out within just a couple of days. I am extremely grateful for my new device!

Diagnosed with Autism at 18 months over 8 years ago, our son continues to keep us on our toes, making us smile and exceeding our expectations! We were told that he would never speak but he began talking at 4 1/2 and he is yet to stop. We were also told that he was healthy at birth only to later discover that he has Autism, Celiac Disease, Chiari Malformation and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. As a result, he has undergone multiple surgeries, he spends a lot of his waking hours needing to be laying down, he has fine motor challenges and vision impairments. The never ending medical expenses, therapy bills and time away from work have left us unable to purchase an iPad. The mini iPad that ASDF provided our son has allowed him to complete his schoolwork without needing to be upright and with out needing to be dependent on someone else to write down his answers. Our son can feel the pride of keeping up with his school work independently. We are forever grateful.

I can't tell you enough just how happy I am to have found Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation! It really makes me quite emotional to have such a foundation really & truly help on an individual basis. I previously wrote a review from when they helped my son with an Ipad & now they helped my amazing son with the payment of swimming lessons! He had his 1st lesson, Saturday 3/15/14 & it was much needed! He is looking forward to his classes & as a parent, I know how important it is for my Autistic son to learn how to swim & avoid some of the dangers that go along with water. I truly appreciate this Foundation & will forever be grateful for the opportunities given to us by ASDF.
Thank you so much for helping to pay for our son's piano lessons!!! We were not sure he would be able to continue when the cost of his lessons suddenly increased last fall. Piano is very important in his life because it's an area he shines in among his classmates! It helps the kids understand that autistic children can do many of the things that typical kids can, and so I think, leads to more inclusiveness. Because of your assistance, our son has already participated in the annual city-wide music decathlon and is preparing for the school talent show and his recital. Thank you for all you do for our son and for all the children that you help!!
My 3 year old son Truman was diagnosed last year with ASD. Since that point we have been searching for a therapy that will help break through to him. As an instructor it has been so gratifying to see the progress the children have made. The ASDF funding has allowed the instructors to give the children one -on-one lessons tailor made to their specific needs. Their proficiency in swimming has given them great pride and their families piece of mind. Thank you ASDF for all that you do to better the lives of individuals living with Autism.

Good Morning,
I just wanted to send you this note to let you know how thankful Alicia and I am to have had the opportunity to receive this most wonderful gift.
Alicia has absolutely grown in so many ways over the year she has been working on the iPad. She has been able to practice her reading with the help of Ebooks which help her to sound out words, she is able to practice her eye hand coordination, and she also has become more social as she is part of a social group where she is able to chat with other kids. This requires her to think about what she wants to say, spell out the words and read and interpret the responses. The IPAd has also given her a great resource to Learn sign language. She is really into sign language and she goes back to class and teaches her class mates.
Overall the iPad has helped her academically, socially, and mentally. She is more open to the world and
Growing more and more each day.

Thank you ASDF for helping my son with continued swim lessons over the past couple years. He is learning how to swim and has a growing confidence in everything he does. Learning how to swim is a life giving gift when unforeseen accidents happen. It is a known fact that those on the autism spectrum are attracted to water and many have lost their lives. The skills my son is learning could possibly save his life one day.
Thank you also for the holiday gift card program you provide families in need. My family is thankful for the help they have provided over the holidays. You have helped my family have a Christmas that otherwise wouldn't have been possible. Keep up the great work! You are changing lives and helping families inflicted by autism. THANK YOU!
Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation is a wonderful foundation that has helped my son (on the autism spectrum) for several years. ASDF has provided my son much needed therapy equipment (that my family could not afford otherwise). The equipment has helped my son overcome many of his sensory problems. He is no longer in need of OT therapy! That is HUGE! ASDF has also helped my son with a new bicycle (fitted to his needs). His bike has given him a new, "unknown freedom" that every child should experience. My family is also greatly appreciative to the much needed Holiday Gift Card Program. Raising a child on the autism spectrum is very costly, thanks to all the therapy needed. If it wasn't for ASDF helping us with a gift card, my son would not have had Christmas gifts to open, warm winter clothes to wear, nor would we have had food in our bellies over the winter. Finally, one of the best "gifts" ASDF has given my son is swim lessons at our YMCA. Thanks to the lessons, my son has: overcome many sensory issues with water, has built up his core muscles, and has totally built up his confidence. The most important "gift" the swim lessons have provided is learning a new, LIFE SAVING skill. My family can't thank the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation enough for all that they have done for my son. We are forever grateful to this wonderful foundation and to those that have made the help available to families like ours. THANK YOU!
I would also like to add one more thing to my review. I have been reading through the volunteer reviews and see so many negative comments about ASDF. Some have said that they use 60% of the donations go toward expenses. I am sure they do. The therapy equipment, bicycle, swim lessons, and Holiday Gift Cards they have helped my family with ARE expenses (and that isn't including the iPads, camps, computers, etc. that they have provided other families over the years). PLEASE do not be discouraged by the few people that have given bad reviews. ASDF has helped our family, and many more across the US with children on the Autism Spectrum. They TRULY are a Godsend to our family. I am forever thankful a friend introduced me to ASDF. If you are looking to help with donations, this is the right place. They help families DIRECTLY (unlike many other organizations). Thank you for your help!
My family and I want to try to express in words what the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation has done to directly impact my son, Ryan's life. He was diagnosed with PDD, NOS at age two. For the past seven years the Foundation has provided him with lessons to learn how to swim. Not only did he acquire the ability, he is able to swim backstroke and freestyle for two laps without stopping! This has given him great confidence. In addition, they have helped Ryan to enroll in a great social camp where he was able to expand his challenging receptive and expressive language skills. He has been able to participate in Tae Kwon Do classes where he attends classes with his peers. It was a very proud moment when he earned his yellow belt. All of this was made possible by such a caring and generous ASDF. Ryan has been thriving and has a weekly tutor to help him keep up academically. We are forever grateful for their continued generousity through the years.
I have a six year old with autism that is mostly non verbal. His speech therapist referred us to ASDF, to apply for an iPad. The speech therapist wrote a letter and in a week we received an iPad. I can't begin to say how helpful an iPad is to our son and family. He has a communication system on it that he uses if he can't say what he wants. It helps decrease his frustration. It also helps entertain him during long car rides, which we have a lot of with specialist appointment. We are very grateful for ASDF's gift of an iPad for our son!
I first learned about this organization from my sister whose daughter has some level of MR & was quite impressed that not only do they help Autistic children but also children with special needs period. My son is Autistic however and after placing an inquiry for Ipad assistance, They were able to send him one within 6 months! The Ipad was a refurbished one and had some problems but it had a warranty so we were able to go to the Apple store & they exchanged it for a brand new one because the other one stopped working. I was impressed again that not only did they send us an Ipad but it came with a warranty. This Foundation is a blessing & I am so appreciative for their help. The Ipad has helped my son tremendously. It's the only thing that keeps his interest, It made us see that he's really technology driven & we are now focusing his future based on the things that we've seen him be able to do with the Ipad. Thank you so very much Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation!!!!
Also, I want to say that it makes me very upset at the people writing negative reviews about this organization. I read a review that 60% of the funds go to expenses, well guess what Ipads are an expense & quite expensive I might add! They are at least trying to help our special needs children. Who else is really doing that? I wasn't on a waiting list for years & years like some other organizations I know of. This is a great service to our children & if they were able to send 100 kids to camp or however many, THAT IS A DIFFERENCE MADE! I am a parent & a client served & this organization is AWESOME!

Hi I am the Mother of a 9 years of age Autistic son whom was 90% nonverbal . I started researching different organizations that could help because I work full-time and was trying to go to school full time. But my limited finances and being that my son could not speak I had to put that on hold. I couldn't afford an IPAD being a single parent with a mortgage and I contacted Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation INC. and told them my story and they sent my son an IPAD after receiving his prescription. My son is now more verbal and his Teacher can understand what he is now saying along with his participation being up in his classroom. My son now sings and dance and his academic level is now improved. This foundation has been a blessing to my son and he is now progressing everyday. There was no organization out there of all the years of trying to find help for my son no one would help but this blessed foundation. I am really gratefully for their help because of them life has improved for my son.
I am so grateful to Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation INC. for choosing my daughter as an ipad recipient. My daughter is autistic with very minimal speech. With her new ipad donated by ASDF INC. my daughter now has unlimited resources at her fingertips that will not only help her with her communication needs but also help her understand and visualize everyday activities that she comes across at school and home. I thank ASDF for taking an interest in the lives of so many special people and making a difference.

In all my honesty, ASDF is the most generous Foundation that has ever helped my son attend Autism and Disability related camps that we otherwise could not afford. They were very easy to communicate with and understand our needs. One year my son traveled to a sports camp that specialized in thrilling outdoor excursions created for kids like him. ASDF was so generous paying for the tuition and travel costs. Also ASDF came to our rescue a second time and sponsored my son's tuition to attend special disability inclusion camping experience at Wilderness Inquiry. Nowadays it's almost impossible to believe that this generosity exists. Come the holidays I always remember the memories that were created for my son and improved his life and our lives. I am thankful that I found the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation because they really care about children and families.
ASDF has changed the lives of my two grandchildren. They have given them a Christmas to remember. They have allowed Michael to attend Camp Dakota, though a scholarship. They have given us so much that I will never be able to thank them enough.
This is one great organization!
Thanks ASDF for all you do!
With an overwhelming thank you!

ASDF is one of the most giving organizations I have personally be able to have the pleasure of working with.
Parker Autism Foundation is a very small foundation that I volunteer for and ASDF has changed what we are able to do.
They have allowed us to increase the number of children that can go to our Camp Dakota, they donated a 15 passenger van for our camp, they have donated eight I-Pads to our families, and have donated over $17,500 to our Holiday Program over the last four years alone.
PAF owes ASSF everything! Thank you ASDF for your continued support!
ASDF has already pleaded another $10,000 for our camp program this year!
Way to go ASSF!!!
Works can not express our gratitude,
Pam
What do you say about an organization that changes your grandsons life??
You say THANK YOU!
ASDF has given my grandson camp scholarships to Parker Autism Foundation's Camp Dakota for the past several years. One week of camp is $600 per child, due to the one in one support needed for my grandson. We could not afford to send him had it not been for ASDF.
Not only have they sent My grandson to camp he was given a I-Pad so that he could communicate with us. I can not explain to you what this did for us.
My grandson can now tell us his needs, his wants, and that he loves us.
My heart goes out to ASSF for all they do.
And shame on all those who question them. They have helped so many families in NC that I'm proud to support them.
Sincerely,
Lisa M.
Thank you than you thank you! ASDF has just donated four much needed I-Pads to the Parker Autism Foundation. The I-Pad will be given to four children that have communication issues and need them desperately.
I can't tell you enough how much this will help these families.
In the past 5 years ASDF has donates over $50,000 to our camp program, $17,500 to our Holiday program, donated a 15 passenger van for Camp Dakota. And donated a total of 8 I-Pads.
We could not do all that we do without ASDF. They make what we do for our families so much easier.
Thanks ASDF,
Dakota
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation INC. changed a lot for my family this past Christmas. I am married and have 3 little boys. 3,5,and 9. My oldest has Autism. The school he attends called me in to collect a gift card one day. I picked it up, went back to my jeep and cried the rest of the way home. It touched me. The fact that any place could do something soo nice, without any warning or requirement, just really really warmed my heart. And made our Christmas possible.

Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation
Dear Friends,
I want to thank you all for your support and generosity you have shown my daughter, Sarah, and our family this year. Having a child with special needs has its challenges and blessings. Having the support of individuals such as you is the greatest blessing! This year has had its challenges. Your generosity in helping to make Christmas magic happen this year is priceless to us. I can’t thank you enough for that. Your support of this program is a tremendous blessing to individuals and families. Thank you very much!
Wholeheartedly,
Chris and Kathy M.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation is a life saver. Without them The Parker Autism Foundation Could not do all that we do. ASDF has generously donated so much to the foundation. For the past several years they have donated $10,000 for our camp scholarship program, $5,000 for our Holiday program and in 2013 they donated a 15 passenger van for our Camp Dakota. I can not say enough on what they have allowed us to do for all our families. We greatly appreciate all they do.
With Warmest Regards,
Parker Autism Foundation
How do I thank you for all you have done for The Parker Autism Foundation. Your Donation of a 15 passenger van for their Camp Dakota has made it so much easier for the camp staff to take the children on field trips. My Children love Camp Dakota and your scholarships for them to attend makes it possible for them to go. Otherwise I would not be able to send them to this wonderful program.
You have also been so generous to their Holiday Program, My family was one of the families that received a Walmart Gift Card. Thank for all you do.
Much Thanks,
Nancy H.
I direct a camp for children with autism spectrum disorders. Due to the struggling economy, we have had more families who have found it difficult to pay for their child to come to camp. It costs a great deal of money to run a high quality camp for this population. It is hard for us to have to turn kids away. This organization gave scholarships to 13 of our campers. We have received the funds for all but the last few who applied and I expect to see those funds in the next week. A family looking for funds found them and I have not done further research but we are thankful for what they did for our kids!
