I direct a camp for children with autism spectrum disorders. Due to the struggling economy, we have had more families who have found it difficult to pay for their child to come to camp. It costs a great deal of money to run a high quality camp for this population. It is hard for us to have to turn kids away. This organization gave scholarships to 13 of our campers. We have received the funds for all but the last few who applied and I expect to see those funds in the next week. A family looking for funds found them and I have not done further research but we are thankful for what they did for our kids!
