I was chosen to receive a $300.00 gift card for Christmas, the qualifications were that my family be low income and have a special needs child. Well, I have a special needs adult child and I'm raising my grandson who is on the autism spectrum. This was such a surprise and such a great blessing. I received the card from Misti Mixley out of Clackamas Oregon. Receiving the gift card allowed me to provide my family with a great tree, nice dinner fixings and allowed me to purchase a special child computer tablet for my grandson. He had one before and over the course of two years wore it out. I didn't have the funds to replace it due to the expense. Now this year he can have another one. This tablet helps him with his frustration, fixations and attention span. The gift card also allowed me to get the one thing he asked for, a new bike. So thank you very much, this was a great unexpected surprise that we will treasure all this season.
