Causes: Arts & Culture, Single Organization Support
Mission: The callanwolde foundation promotes performing and fine arts in dekalb county and restores & maintains the historic callanwolde fine arts center. Classes include dance, painting, pottery, photography, writing, music, fitness and others (see schedule o). The foundation is also host to various art shows, plays, recitals, and poetry readings.
Programs: Dance & music classes - dance classes teach jazz, modern dance, ballet, and other dance styles to children and adults with over a dozen different classes. Music instruction in all styles, instruments, and age levels thus promoting fine arts in dekalb county, the exempt purpose of the callanwolde fine arts center.
visual art classes - visual art classes teach drawing, painting, and photography to children and adults with over a dozen different classes covering various subjects, thus promoting art in dekalb county, the exempt purpose of the callanwolde fine arts center.
other program services - this includes other classes such as pottery, exercise, and yoga classes. Other programs are art shows, poetry readings, acting, singing, writing, and musical performances. This also includes sales and expenses from the cafe.
