Mission: The tangier american legation musuem society (talim) is a bridge of international community and understanding. Talim operates and maintains the first u. S. National historic landmark outside of the borders of the u. S. Closely affiliated with the american institute for magrhib studies, talim hosts many conferences, language programs and lectures on a variety of subjects relating to the region of north africa. Talim also houses a comprehensive research library funded through aims. Talm also hosts an annual seminar held under the patronage of king mohammed vi. Talm is also closely affiliated with the council of american overseas research centers and provides bibliographic data for inclusion in the automated overseas digital library.
