Mission: Singers Centre for Girls transforms talented young women ages 11 through 17 into exceptional musicians. The combination of music education and community service develops today's young women into tomorrow's compassionate leaders. Students are nurtured in an enthusiastic, caring environment. Their musical ability is served by first-rate instructors. They learn vocal technique and music reading while gaining quality ensemble experience. They choose community performance and service opportunities for charities and donate their talents, thus instilling good citizenship, a positive personal identity, and community responsibility. Singers Centre for Girls envisions growing into a series of centers planted in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
