texas clock - the 10,000 year clock project was conceived by danny hillis as a monument to long-term thinking. The design development on the clock began in 01997 and the clock is now under construction in west texas.
revive and restore - revive & restores mission is to enhance biodiversity through genetic rescue of endangered and extinct species. Beside its focus on bringing back the passenger pigeon, revive & restore is exploring projects to support genomic work in allele replacement for species experiencing a loss of diversity. Revive & restore also serves as a clearinghouse for de-extinction and rewilding projects worldwide.
