Heartbeats of the World, Inc was founded by Dr. Karlene ChinQuee.in 2002. Heartbeats of the World is a a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to promoting health, education and welfare for women, adolescents and children in underserved areas of the world by providing medical services and educational opportunities, addressing the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancy and unemployment. The organization has worked in Costa Rico, USA. Jamaica and have donated to the worthy cause in Haiti. We have been sucessful in raising the bar in helping to train and equip over 600 students who had given up on a future and offered them the opportunity to be certified for employment in the Hospitality and other Industries. We have worked with young single mothers with numerous children who have been motivated and are now able to change their lives and are venturing into gainful entrepreneurship. Some students had given up after misfortunes in their lives have been motivated to gaining the teacher's certification. We are fortunate and blessed to have an Executive Director in Jamaica, whose passion is to work and help the young people realize their goals by "Dreaming Big Dreams "All of our donations are directed to the program and the students. None of our Board members accept any form of payment. We all volunteer our time and skills with love and pride. Our ultimate goal is to help in building hope for the less fortunate. The more we can generate as funds will be our motivation to help in offering a better life for the underserved.
