Mission: Golden Gate Senior Services provides services to the underserved seniors in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities as well as people of color and developmentally disabled seniors.
Programs: GGSS has three major programs operating in the city of San Francisco. The Castro Senior Center is the only senior center in San Francisco dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBT senior community. The Richmond Senior Center serves a large population of disabled seniors and adults as well as memebers of San Francisco's Asian community. Project Integration serves the population of developmentally disabled seniors and adults that participate in the acitivities of both senior center's. Both senior center's host a hot lunch provided by Project Open Hand Senior Lunch Program.
