Mission: The foundation bestows funding to "the mothers programme" in south africa to provide the support and education that are needed for treatment efforts to succeed by empowering women living with hiv/aids in south africa to look after themselves, their newborns and each other.
Programs: The mothers' programme of south africa provides a secure, warm environment where women living with hiv/aids can feel safe to share their fears and concerns: fears for the health of their children; fears of disclosure to their partners, friends and family; and the feelings of helplessness engendered by being alone, pregnant and infected with the aids virus.
