Mission: Friends of PhysTech was founded by US-based alumni who recognized the urgent need to provide financial and other kinds of assistance PhysTech, a world-class educational institution, in the context of significant reductions in funding provided by the Government of Russian Federation. The specific purposes of our Organization are: - to raise awareness of the University community needs; - to accept donations from the general public and publicly supported organizations for the needs of the University community, - to assist in maintaining the quality of education and the infrastructure of the University; - to assist in providing funds for financial assistance programs conducted and administered by the University and the University community organizations.
Programs: Friends of PhysTech programs includes funding of the University Alumni financial assistance program that awards financial assistance to students based on needs- and merit-based selection process.
