te ha is a global indigenous alliance and network bringing together our mino-niibi fund grantee partners in physical and virtual spaces for reciprocal learning, capacity-building, and solidarity. The purpose of te ha is to ignite and strengthen intercultural solidarity, collective action, and reciprocity founded in indigenous sovereignty and ways of learning, knowing, and resource sharing. We do this through trainings, workshops, peer-to-peer learning, cultural exchanges, and sharing of strategies and struggles.
the goal of the mino-niibi fund is to protect and promote the eco-cultural revitalization of indigenous cultures their knowledge, practices and landscapes in the americas and the pacific by entering into respectful grant partnerships with indigenous-led organizations or networks applying their traditional knowledge and practices in one or more of four strategic areas of focus: community & cultural health, sacred land and water preservation, cultural arts & media, regenerative livelihoods. Grants are typically for $10,000 for a one-year project period and are renewable up to three years if project goals are accomplished.
