Comunilife's medical and social respite program provides temporary housing for hospital patients who are medically cleared for discharge but do not have a home in which to recuperate. As part of their stay patients receive case management services including assistance securing permanent housing. Life is precious is comunilife's unique suicide prevention program for at-risk latina teens ages 12 to 17. Located in three centers in new york city, this non-clinical program provides activities after-school and on saturdays which include creative arts therapy, academic support, wellness activities and concrete family services. All services help abate the issues that led to the at-risk behavior.
