We did work for the director and it was the most abusive situation I have ever been in on the job.
She Yelled and Swore at me because it was going to take an extra day to paint in this small room that looks like an episode of Hoarders.
Then after I told her that I don’t allow this type of behavior she fired us.
Then apologized in a text begging us to come back.
She never kept a schedule and would cancel our appointments days even hours ahead of time.
Then accused us of taking too long to finish.
I was thinking of hiring her to give voice lessons to our two daughters,
but after seeing how she is out of control of her emotions I would not trust her around my children.
We started calling her Divanela!

Causes: Arts & Culture, Opera
Mission: The boulder opera is committed to making opera accessible, inspiring and engaging to the community. Our goal is to develop new audiences for this old art form, enrich the lives of our community, and provide opportunity to local musicians. (see schedule o)
Programs: Opera performances are held during year reaching 1000 families. One full-length production was presented, and several abridged versions were presented for the family series.
outreach and education programs included "let's make an opera workshop" where children create and improvise a 10 minute opera. Approximatley 180 children participated.
