Causes: Autism, Disabilities, Health
Mission: Our purpose is to transform the lives of children with autism. Partnering with families, we create life-long relationships through thoughtful, innovative, empirically based learning treatment programs.
Programs: We help transform the lives of children and adults with autism and related disorders. Firefly autism provides applied behavior analysis programs for children and adults, as well as occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and mental health therapy. We also provide social skill groups as well as in home therapy, which include parent training as well as individualized client-specific training using the scientific principles of applied behavior analysis. This includes functional behavior assessments and the development and monitoring of behavior intervention plans. We also provide school consultation and training for community partners, such as first responders and police officers. Our model is evidence-based and is driven by empirical data. We currently serve individuals throughout the front range. We have a team of over 80 professionals with bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, including bcba's and rbt's. As part of our professional development, we train and supervise staff who are training to become bcba's, with currently 13 of our staff pursuing this certification.
