This non profit takes in elephants that have been cruelly treated throughout their lives and given them a home where there are treated with love, dignity and respect, never having to have bull hooks dug into their skin or beatings or made to work with massive injuries. The also take in other animals that need help. Kindness and care are given to all the animals by all the staff. Fantastic place

Have only just been made aware of this fantastic sanctuary but am already in love with it. I wish I live closer, as if anything happened to me I would love for my donkeys and minis to go here where I know they would be treated with love, dignity and respect. So looking forward to seeing more about them

This is a sanctuary for abused horses and donkeys where they are given love, dignity and respect from a lady who is not well herself. She goes over and above their care even when she has days of illness. All the horses and donkeys are very well taken care of, any problems with their health are taken care of forthwith. If I had to put my horses and donkeys somewhere, this is the only place I would take them as I know they would live their life to the fullest and with the care they deserve

I am so proud to be associated with JERAS. The horses and donkeys are so well taken care of by a lady who has multiple health problems, but puts her charges ahead of her problems. If my horses and donkeys needed to go somewhere I would send them here as I know they would be taken care of like the horses and donkeys that are already there with dignity respect and love

To me this is heaven for those horses and donkeys who have only known hell. One lady takes care of all these equines with health issues of her own, but there isn't a day that she misses. I have horses and donkeys and if I couldn't take care of mine, I would find a way to get them to Journeys End Ranch Animal Sanctuary, where I know like the ones who are already there, they would be given love and treated with the dignity and respect that they deserve. This is a haven for those that have been abused and all their needs are met by this one lady who has to do it by herself due to her illness. This is a haven for equines where they can be themselves and never fear again

This sanctuary is fantastic. Cathy works this by herself and takes care of horses, donkeys and dogs. Alot of the animals have been abused and neglected, and Cathy has taken the time to give them the love, dignity and respect that they deserve. If I had to find a rescue for my horses, donkeys and dogs, I would certainly make Journey's End Ranch Animal Sanctuary my first choice, knowing that my animals would be taken care of extremely well and allowed to live their lives as all animals should. This is how the animals at the sanctuary are - they are cared for, loved, treated very well and will always feel safe and wanted.

Journeys End Ranch Animal Sanctuary is run by Cathy Ritlaw, who herself has medical problems, but this has not stopped her from giving homes to horses, donkeys and dogs and bringing them from a disastrous life to one of well being and safety. I have horses, donkeys and dogs and if I had to place them in a sanctuary, I would no hesitate to place them here. Cathy's knowledge, kindness, love and caring have given all the animals in her care the dignity and respect that they deserve. She gives 100% + to all in her care and deserves all the help she can.

Since becoming acquainted with Journey's End Ranch Animal Sanctuary, I am in awe of what Catherine Ritlaw has accomplished. She is a professional in her own right. She treats ALL the animals that live at the Sanctuary with respect, dignity, caring and love and if i had to find a place for my horses, donkeys and dogs I would look into them going with her. I would also recommend the Sanctuary to anyone who needed help. By working with other rescues and santuaries Catherine has managed to help a lot of animals. I will continue to support this Sanctuary and help out in any other way I can.
