Review for Healing Hearts Animal Sanctuary Inc, Cave Creek, AZ, USA
As the executive director of another non profit, I have worked with Healing Hearts and have found them to be a wonderful organization. The horses and other animals get great care and a new, promising life. They also have dedicated volunteers. Highly recommended!
Review for Equine Wellbeing Rescue Inc., Snowflake, AZ, USA
I am the former executive director of an animal sanctuary. I have known Christine for 12 years and have followed Equine WellBeing via Facebook and newsletters. They are amazing! When I became totally disabled 2 years ago, this rescue took in 8 of our equines. They will live out their lives there. I highly recommend this non profit and urge you to support them.

I have known the founder of this wonderful organization for 11 years and have followed the work they do. Not only do they rescue, rehab and find homes for equines, but they also provide a permanent home to many. The care and management is excellent. I say this as someone with degrees in vet technology and equine science. I addition, they provide many community outreach programs to help others. This organization deserves your support.

EWB Rescue continues to do amazing work saving horses and burros. Some stay forever, others go to approved homes, all get the care and love they need to recover from abuse, neglect and, sometimes, accidents and abandonment. When I became too ill to continue caring for my own sanctuary's animals, EWB was willing to take some of them in. I trust very few people, but I am thrilled for my animals in their new home. Please consider supporting this wonderful organization.

Such a wonderful organization! They helped us when we had to downsize at our sanctuary due to my illness. If you follow Healing Hearts on Facebook, you will see that they are always ready to help animals & their people, even taking in fire evacuees during Arizona wildfires. Healing Hearts is so very worthy of your support.

Review for Nobody Starves On Long Island Inc, Middle Island, NY, USA
I only know of Gary and his work on Long Island through social media, but I have come to know him as a hard working animal advocate and I applaud this organization.

I have personally known Christine for about 6 years. This is a great organization, hard-working & honest. They have done so much to rescue, rehab and re-home horses, burros & mules in need. Plus, they have set up a food bank to help prevent equines in their area from starving when owners are low on feed & funds.
Thank you Cathy. It has been our pleasure to work with your organization to help mustangs and burros. Give Warrior my love!

Review for Saffyre Sanctuary, Inc., Sylmar, CA, USA
I have known the President of this organization for 5 years and have followed their work and accomplishments since then. They assisted my own sanctuary in acquiring an aged Arabian stallion who needed a special home. Saffyre Sanctuary does wonderful work in rescuing, rehabbing and re-homing horses in need.
Review for Paws Pet Ranch, Palm Springs, CA, USA
Apparently, this "rescue" let a white German Shepherd dog "rescued" from Devore shelter in April die in the heat with no water. Photos posted on Facebook. Link to story- https://www.facebook.com/118795328205474/photos/a.987729024645429.1073741935.118795328205474/997222623696069/?type=3&theater
"RIP, OTHELLO. This dog was left in the heat with no water after being "rescued" by Paws Pet Ranch."

I have known Christine personally for about 3 years and have worked with her in saving several horses. As someone who runs a 501(c)3 animal sanctuary myself and is a retired vet tech, I can say I am proud to call her my friend. This organization saves many at risk, injured and abandoned horses, does a great job of rehabbing them and finding them good homes. Christine has the expertise, enthusiasm and integrity needed to do a wonderful job of saving equines. I just cannot say enough good things about this organization.

Review for Return To Freedom Inc, Lompoc, CA, USA
A wonderful equine rescue and sanctuary dedicated to the preservation of America's wild horses and burros. They have great outreach to the community and other wild horse organizations. They have saved the lives of hundreds of horses, educate the public and preserve valuable wild horse gene pools.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Watching their progress in saving horses.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Keep going.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Their enthusiasm for what they do.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Intelligent, caring and pleasant.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Save all the displaced wild horses and burros.
Ways to make it better...
Always great experience.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The BLM's continued refusal to follow the law as stated in the 1971 Free Roaming Wild Horse and Burro Act.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Everyone should visit their website or the sanctuary itself.
