Mission: To provide orchestral music education and performing experiences to young instrumentalists, ages 11-18, residing in new york city with special emphasis on western and eastern repertories, including classical, jazz, popular film and asian music. To promote orchestral music by conducting organized concerts and concert tours, such as performances given at school, church, festival, music hall, and various community centers, etc.
Programs: Annual concerts: annual concert at major venues including annual free concert performed during christmas holiday. Periodic visitation concerts such as old age homes, retirement homes and rehabilitation centers.
music education, training, classroom teaching and assistance to promising and gifted young men and women (ages 11 to 18),to play instruments and improve technical instrumental skills taught by visiting professional instructors.
