MYAC is a unique cultural institution, providing a community for numerous students to practice music and express themselves in a supportive environment of like-minded people. Often, school music programs aren't enough for driven musicians, and MYAC provides a welcoming place for them to receive a more intense musical education. MYAC prioritizes giving all students access to such a high quality program regardless of their privilege or wealth, and works hard to provide a community for all who choose to be part of it. I am a student who recently graduated after participating for six years in the orchestra and chamber music programs. MYAC was an integral part of my high school experience, and provided me with a community of peers who love music as much as I do -- a community that I couldn't find anywhere else. It was well run and steadfast in its commitment to its stated mission. I learned and grew so much in my years as a student at MYAC, and it made a huge positive impact on me.

I've watched this amazing group grow their artistry for 23 years into a top performing musical entity. Even though the majority of the group is volunteer their performances are at the highest professional level. Kudos to the talented artistic leadership of Patti Graetz and the dedicated performers for making this ticket one of the best values in the valley for amazing performances. The exceptional additions of projected pictures and videos add so much to the concert experience. It is a total package of entertainment.

I first met COS’s Executive Director, Yeou-Cheng Ma, when she and her brother, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, were at Harvard University, both of them students of my father, composer Leon Kirchner. Life-long friendships were formed from those early days, all of us young at the same time. Yeou-Cheng was an example of a phenomenon among students who were accomplished practitioners of music and science. She has since enjoyed a successful career as a pediatrician, as an active chamber musician performing in concert on piano, violin and viola, and as a treasured teacher and mentor to a generation of students in music. As executive director of the COS, founded by her formidable father, Dr. H. T. Ma, in 1961,Yeou-Cheng Ma has enhanced the lives of countless children and young adults gifted in music. For many years now, she has shared her vision for COS with her husband, Michael Dadap, an accomplished composer, educator, and classical guitarist who co-leads as Artistic & Music Director of COS.<br>COS presents excellent performances by gifted musicians who celebrate decades of commitment and a multi-generational network of former and current students, teachers, and mentors. Together they perform diverse programs of orchestral works and some choral and chamber music. Introductions and stories shared in performance generate warmth, and a visceral positivity permeates audiences filled with family, friends, community and the broader swath of music lovers in attendance at each concert. COS has provided gifted young musicians the treasured experience of full immersion in music by means of private lessons, master classes, studies in music theory, musicianship, orchestral, chamber and solo playing, mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities worldwide for concert performances in major venues. It has produced several decades of eminent musicians performing internationally. Students who may not have had access to this kind of training or guidance are supported by COS and its grants. These opportunities endow a life that endows other lives and provide an example of what such an organization can accomplish with the funds to implement its vision as its reputation grows and visibility in major halls increases around the globe.<br><br><br><br><br>

I have played in this orchestra for over 20 years as a volunteer. It is a great organization to be a part of!

Very upsetting experience purchasing tickets. I purchased two tickets with the protection. I don't know what happened but the seats were not the ones I selected (section B instead of A). I immediately reached out for a refund to get the seats I wanted and they do not give refunds. This literally happened within seconds of the purchase. I do not appreciate this lack of customer service and I will not be returning to the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra.

Southland Symphony Orchestra brings so much enrichment to the lives of everyone in the local community. Marcy Sudock is a force of nature when it comes to making and providing a meaningful musical experience for young people. I have proudly been involved with Musique Sur La Mer as a pro musician since its inception and I can say there's no finer preparation for a lifetime of musical reward than Musique.

My three children have gone through this wonderful non for profit school. Their use of the Suzuki Method helps kids and adults learn at their own pace. Their teachers were taught at the same school which makes them truly understand and support their students.

My family and I love the Greater CT Youth Orchestras! My daughter has been part of GCTYO for the past 5 years. Saturday mornings are filled with anticipation and joy as we drive to Fairfield to practice with children from accross CT. The chance to perform at the Klein Theater alongside renowned artists is truly extraordinary. The dedicated staff's talent and commitment are remarkable. I am immensely grateful for the phenomenal opportunities this organization offers my child.

This is an incredibly unique and fantastic orchestra! The inclusion of amplified and electronic instruments makes their shows unlike any orchestral concert you will ever experience! I also love the diversity of the repertoire. The music ranges from arrangements of popular tunes to well-known classical pieces. I attend many orchestra concerts, but I always have the most fun at AEO concerts! The conductor is passionate about his work, and the performances are truly inspiring! I always leave wanting more! I highly recommend checking out their concerts!

Bridges MAYO is truly an exceptional organization. It provides a wide variety of diverse experiences to students and young musicians. I have never seen another youth orchestra be so diverse and collaborative in its efforts to teach young musicians about music from around the world in authentic and exciting ways. Anyone who is interested in working with this organization absolutely should. It deserves to grow and thrive to the fullest extent possible!

Starlight Symphony Orchestra provides free symphonies Hays County, TX. Their volunteer musicians always provide a fantastic music experience, especially at their holiday concert every December. They also offer scholarships and solo performance opportunities to the winners of their annual Young Artist Competition.

The Brazos Chamber Orchestra consistently provides top quality performances to diverse audiences who otherwise would be unable to access quality professional orchestral <br>programs . Before I became acquainted with the BCO, I seldom was able to attend live musical presentations due to location and cost. The BCO brings their wonderful music to the ordinary people in accessbile venues. The musicians and conductor share their great love of classical and semi-classical music and motivate young or novice music lovers to become involved in the sharing and preservation of this great treasure.

DYAO is an exceptional organization that provides professional-level orchestral experiences to Denver area youth. The students are challenged by traditional orchestral repertoire - pieces deemed tricky by many adult professional orchestras - as well as compositions by living composers. They participate in really interesting and engaging collaborations with other artistic groups - theater companies, taiko drums! - keeping their offerings fresh and creative. Youth serious about music need to be involved in DYAO.

Great concerts. Many are free or by donations. Very professional and enjoyable.

Four out of five of our kids have been a part of PYO over the last 8 years. (Our youngest only has about 5 more years until she’s old enough to join!) They have had amazing instructors who taught them not only to love and appreciate music but also taught them life lessons along the way such as hard work, perseverance, kindness, and always trying their best. The instructors and board of directors bend over backwards to keep this amazing program running and creating beautiful music for our town! We are so grateful for this organization and all they have poured into our lives over the years. They have truly given our kids the gift of music!

Caesura is SO very special! I am a professional flutist in Los Angeles and I come every year to work with these extremely special and eager young children to help strengthen their musical skills and their awareness of the precious beauty of music and art to enhance their lives and help make their academics even stronger with musical skills and critical thinking. It also gives them hope, dreams, creativity, compassion for others and joy to have these musical experiences - and we want these experiences and opportunities to continue - it is so very important to keep music alive and be introduced and encouraged at this young age to keep going for the next generations. The beauty of this world, as well as the general well -being of all needs music to be able survive and flourish.

I remember in 2008 when this program first came to my school. It revolutionized education for us through rallies, parties, performances, parades, football games and battle of the bands. I credit the Institute with its innovation in reaching the black community. This high quality offering, should be available in every school.

Elemental Music is a gift to the Santa Monica and Westside communities. After having taught orchestra at Samohi for 17 years, I have had the pleasure of having many students who, at an early age, honed their musical skills through their participation in the Elemental Music program. Once these students reached high school, they exhibited extraordinary musicianship but more importantly, early on, they developed a love of music and a commitment towards achieving a goal. There are multiple studies that conclude that students who are involved in music receive better grades and test scores throughout the curriculum than students without a musical background. Elemental Music is an enrichment program that gives students a strong foundation that will help them develop musically, socially, and academically. <br><br>
